We sailed in on a cruise and were just looking for authentic cuisine. He surpassed that and then some! He was more than friendly and had more to offer than just food. He has the most amazing BBQ banana sauce that is to die for! His kick as sauce and calamari with curry mayo is amazing !!!!!! He also offers beach chairs with drinks at a low price and works with other locals for discounts with jet skis and such! I had oxtails with plantain and rice and peas my husband had the jerk chicken philly ! Amazing cannot say again! Best food for first time visiting St. Maarten !!! Thank you

Found on a supermarket parking lot corner close to Phillipsburg west end. Place was full of big tables, Service was a bit awkward. Food plates were huge. It came with 3 side orders which were Mac and cheese (cold,overcooked and dry), scalloped potatoes(dry) and salad with a tasteful dressing. I ordered Mahi, it was delicious and perfectly grilled. A huge meat lasagna portion really tasty. All you can eat ribs for $24 were the real deal. Baby back ribs that are boning and tender. I would definitely go back for ribs for sure, better than Lolo's or other local place.

A great go to place for food and drinks. Everything we ate was above average. They are known for the brisket and you won't be disappointed! Topper himself still hangs out at the restaurant, a very nice man! Free rum samples, cold beer and karaoke...what else could you ask for as a starting place for your evening, or an ending place for the early folks...

The food was awesome, went there three times during our stay in 10 days, Excellent pulled pork and ribs, Their Tuesday night steak dinner deal is the best on the island. Best potato salad I pad of my life, awesome live music as well, excellent setting, big portions and very reasonable pricesThank you for your review and glad you enjoyed our restaurant we do our best to give you quality food at reasonable prices. ,I dunno the food was very good (small portions) thatâs a Caesar salad in the cup. It is very casual with casual (cheap) prices. The service was the worst Iâve experienced in recent memory. Like waiting 20-30 min for meal 15 min for requested ice 20 minutes for the check after I asked for it. I had the linguini âraguâ bolognese. Delicious al dente. Very American breakfast options. Everything was prepared well. Be careful as they bring you a basket full of breakfast pastries. You only pay for what you eat. They are all wonderful but it is too easy to keep eating them.Last word they do not take credit cards....not to worry there is a Scotia Bank with ATM in front of the restaurant.

This was our 2nd visit in in 4 days because hubby loves their seafood! Scallops the 1st night and lobster tonight. I stick with their grilled chicken, really good. Love the salad that comes with the dinner, baked potato flavorful but slightly undercooked. Still a great meal and weâll be back! Roxy was our server both nights and she is FANTASTIC!!!!!! Ask for her when you go!

We found Skipjack's online and decided to give it a try. It was an average experience. The food was good, the service was excellent. Our server was very attentive. The three of us each had a seafood entree. Again, everything was good, but average. It is a nice evening out, but you probably won't be wowed.
