It's part of Willowbrook Golf Course. Manchester, Tn is a huge destination during the Bonarroo music festival in June. We'd like to see some reviews of what our town has to offer outside of chains.
Terrible service. It was evident that our waitress wanted to be somewhere else. Overpriced Big time. Food was just ok. nothing to brag over. This was not the first time the service was bad. we have taken Boskey's from our list of place to dine.

The ribs were fall off the bone delicious accompanied by perfect baked sweet potatoes. I wasnt as impressed with the Cole slaw but it was good. The service was friendly and attentive to my table. The price was right for what I received. Easy access off interstate. And of course a tub of peanuts. Highly recommend it for a good meal reasonably pricedThank you for taking the time to leave us a review. We look forward to serving you again soon!

We stopped in for lunch while we were out sightseeing. The wait was not long at all even though they were busy. Food and service were great. Fresh ice tea. Will stop here again.

We were passing through Tennessee and were looking for a lunch spot--something other than a chain. Found The Mercantile on TripAdvisor and decided to give it a try. Was convenient to get to from the interstate and found it with no problem right on the square in downtown Manchester. Upon entering the restaurant, we were greeted and given the "run down" on how to order. They have regular menu items as well as cafeteria style entrees with sides and a small salad bar. Our choices that day were fried catfish and meatloaf. Everything was home made. The fish was good, crispy on the outside and not greasy. My husband opted for a cheeseburger. He was told that since it was cooked to order that it would be 15-20 minutes. Not a problem. It came out cooked perfectly and on what appeared to be a homemade bun. Sides were good--southern staples of mac and cheese, white beans were my choice. There were others to pick from, again home made. And then there were the desserts!! I opted for banana pudding. Yum! There was also a selection of cakes to choose from and they all looked delicious as well. The food was great, but the hospitality was what really made the visit. The 3 ladies working were the nicest people that you would ever want to meet. Talk about Southern Hospitality!! It was like visiting your best friend or favorite aunt!! They were all so nice. We will definitely work in another visit on our next trip through Tennessee!

A family place, awesome BBQ, fast service, hefty helpings. A simple setting helps keep prices reasonable.

Our menu is filled with classic American dishes like steak, salmon, burgers, sandwiches and salads, as well as other traditional favorites like slow-roasted prime rib and our famous chicken tenders, all at a great value.
Iâve been to OâCharleyâs countless times over the years and they give pretty good service and usually good food. Tonight was not one of those nights. This was our first time visiting this particular restaurant. Employees were friendly upon arrival and we were seated immediately and waited on promptly. I ordered the fried catfish and hubby had tilapia. When I took my fork to get a bite of the catfish it laid open to expose pink, wet, undercooked flesh. Ugh. Catfish shouldnât be pink, it should be flaky! I didnât make a big deal or a scene but when our server came over and asked how everything was I quietly showed him the pink catfish and he said, âoh myâ and took the plate promising another fresh dinner would be out soon. I should have chosen something else at that point because I wanted it to take long enough to be done! But I waited and waited while my husband finished his meal and we waited a little longer before he came out with the new meal. He sat it down and said, âRound two, good luck with that!â Not even kidding. He never asked how it was and never came back to see if it was okay. In all fairness it was a little better than the first one but there was still some pink in it and just not a good fish. I took a little bite off the ends and just couldnât do anymore. I ate some fries and didnât say anything else, not wanting to make a big deal out of it.When our server brought our check he never said a thing about the food except to ask me if I wanted a to go box to which I said ânoâ and started to say this batch wasnât any better but he doesnât even slow down, he sure didnât stop. When he picked up our check he said he was sorry about the first plate, and charged me full price of course for something that was not edible. I am not aggravated that I had to pay for it, Iâm aggravated that he didnât check to see if it was fit to eat instead of saying âgood luck!â A plate of undercooked catfish is not worth $12 when you canât eat it. Disappointed.

I gave J&G another try and am so happy I did. They have the best steak & cheese sub in town, and their fries were cooked to perfection. The owner is very kind and the waitresses make you feel like family. We will definitely be back!!!

Stopped in the coffee cafe for a early lunch while traveling and really had a nice surprise. Cool little cafe, quick very friendly service and the food was exactly as we ordered. The soup was really something special, I would guess everything coming out of the kitchen is homemade. As good as the food was the folks that worked there were very friendly and informative. Thank you all, nice job!

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our meal at Jiffy Burger. The decor is really cool - a 1950's diner vibe with displays of antique toys. Both of us tried the Bonaroo burger - a huge, juicy burger with bacon, an onion ring, and a fried egg. It is a meal all by itself! The prices were very affordable.
