Since it opened, we were curious about the food. We decided to stop for lunch. Their menu has a great selection of spices on the chicken, dressing with the chicken, etc.We ordered boneless chicken. They were juicy, tasty and the service was great.Still curious about all the other food on their menu, so we will be back. Great adding to the area. Keep it up.

We were present for a fundraising dinner. The facility was quite nice, and the staff was very attentive. The room we were in was well-lit, including natural lighting. It was nicely decorated. A dance floor was available. All of the food was excellent. A wide variety of items were served, and all were quite good. Everyone present seemed to agree that the facility did a great job.We hope to come to more events here!

I was in Mahopac for the funeral of a close family member, after the wake several of us from out of state asked where we should go to eat, the locals in the group unanimously choose Four Brothers. It was close they said and the food was good. There were 21 of us in the group and Four Brothers staff pulled the table together and accommodated all of us. The wait staff even took orders in groups as to how we were paying. I ordered the "small" antipasto salad--it is not small--and I couldn't finish it, I would hate to see what a large antipasto salad is like. My cousin next to me ordered eggplant parm, and another ordered a shrimp dish. There was a large variety in selections in our group. Everyone was extremely pleased with the attentiveness of the staff and their ability to keep us from having empty glasses, their attentiveness was without equal, Even though it was a gathering for a sad occasion we celebrated our deceased cousin and enjoyed the camaraderie of family togetherness.

It's a great place to feel at home. Nice decorations, order at the bar, put your own dirty dishes in a bin. Coffee is taken and paid for on the honor system. At around $10 for a lunch it's more than affordable, too.

BLU AT THE LAKEHOUSE Restaurant, 825 South Lake Boulevard, (Route 6N) (immediately askew from Rte 6)(cross of Hilltop Street & Fairy Lane/Clark Place), not far from Mahopac Point & the Mahopac Golf Club. BLU is in the âexurbâ Mahopac Hamlet, in Putnam County, New York, just-short of around 50 miles north from NYC, and, potentially, somewhat negotiable from I-84 and, somewhat potentially manageable from I-684. My Mahopac-Resident-Friends, who say they quite-frequently dine here, and, highly praised it, took me to BLU AT THE LAKEHOUSE Restaurant. They, along with me, thoroughly-enjoyed this Sophisticatedly-Refined Eatery. I found Stylish Blu to be a very-fashionable & popular High-End Restaurant & Bar. I also found it to be Tastefully-Classy, with a spectacular & breathtaking view of the Beautiful Lake Mahopac, only feet away from their ample outside seating ... To me, Blue is a graceful and well-appointed & well-designed Cultured Eatery. The day WE dined, (since we felt that it was too humid-for-us), we chose to sit in the indoor Summer A/C, (over its Chic lakeside seating option). However, so-many others there, had the alternate viewpoint, and crammed the glorious & Stunningly- Beautiful outside Lakeview ample seating. We all had tasty, large portions of great food and great service along with, of course, that equally-as magnificently-elegant lake-view that we also-were able to enjoy inside, because of Bluâs, generously-wide, vista-view, windows. I personally do not believe not much-more can be said and not much-more you can ask-for.

We hadn't been back in a very long time. We were told it is under a new owner. They enlarged the restaurant and added outdoor dining. The menu has something for everybody, full dinner, handheld wraps and many varieties of burgers. I had tuna, my husband had vegetarian cauliflower steaks, my friend had a chicken dish which I will order next time I go. Everything was delicious! Service was great. When I needed advice about what to order the waiter was very helpful. We also had a delicious beet salad, and we shared desert. Portions were plentiful.

We were headed to Saratoga Springs and ready for dinner. Char was a convenient stop for dinner. The burgers were good. The Char Gorgonzola salad is excellent as was the grilled octopus. Staff was a little slow, and confusedâbut very sweet. We would definitely stop again.

My sweetheart and I went on a bus trip to Sleepy Hollow and the first part of our trip was lunch at the Holy Smoke BBQ. Around 50 of us entered into the establishment and sat down at tables placed together to accommodate our large group. Four corn muffins were at our "section" for our table of four. There were three sides in woefully small bowls for our four people. This was a family style service but those bowls were small. Next came the ribs, texas brisket, chicken and pulled pork. The ribs were one big slab, the chicken one big piece, brisket was sliced and pulled pork was shredded. All were very good, but to try and politely cut the ribs for one's own portion was tough. Price for this I saw on their website was $28 pp. Soda/coffee/tea was also included. Servers were very good, food was very good, overall good BBQ

the addition of the fire in the fireplace made this a cozy place...... we asked not to be rushed so we could talk and the waitress was accommodating......spicy shrimp were delicious as well as the chicken francese on angel hair pasta....very tender chicken....a root beer floor had a little kick to it and was equally good as well as the dessert drink "nod to a neighbor" that my friend had.....was told this is part of a chain .....surprising since usually chain restaurants are not as good as this was.

I came here with friends for a recovery brunch :) Our waitress was thoughtful and patient as we all tried to figure out what to order. See below pictures of different pancakes, omelets and breakfast options. Very sweet spot with great decor. Read the sign about their "open hours" for a great laugh!
