My husband and I met here for lunch. Portions were ample, prices a little more than I expected, but reasonable. The food was good and the menu accommodated my husband's southern cooking preferences in a still healthy option. They accommodated special request modifications graciously to my husband's South Cobb salad. I was skeptical of how easily I would find something... healthy, pescatarian (vegetarian, fish only) choices. The fish tacos were pretty good... the fried green tomatoes were far from impressive.South Cobb Diner didn't jump to the top of favorite restaurants list, but we would consider going again.

Authentic, Southern Bar-B-Q. Meats are slow-smoked for 24 hours around the clock. All trimmings are made fresh from scratch daily (not one freezer in the whole building). Dine In, To Go, Drive Thru, Private Dining, or Catering available.
After a long, long day on the road, we found ourselves here just in the "Nick" of time for some outstanding bar-b-q. The original sauce was terrific, service was excellent and the food (ribs, pulled pork and beef brisket) was amazing! Love the potato salad, the bar-b-q corn on the cob, and the cheese biscuits. What a great ending to a long day- definitely going back there again.

Six of us visited on Friday evening. Very welcoming and friendly greeting. Immediately seated by Manager. Our server, Jameson was attentive and knowledgeable about the seasonal menu. He and his colleagues made sure our glasses were full and timed our meal perfectly. Food was very good although the hangar steak portion is quite small. I shared my pork chop with that diner so he wouldn't leave hungry. Dropped one star only due to ambiance...very noisy due to hard surfaces. But will return.

This is a monthly lunch hang out for myself and several friends. Our Friday lunch gatherings have become a real treat. Whether you dine in Eleanors speak easy or the main well light dining room or porch. You can't go wrong with anything on this menu including beer and wine choices. Their burger or specials are always good choices BUT if you love comfort food, don't miss their Beef Sloppy Joes.....excellent!On behalf of the Muss and Turner's team, I would like to thank you for taking the time to leave such a kind review. We look forward to seeing you again soon for another great meal. Please donât hesitate to ask for a member of our management team next time you are in as we would love to be a part of your next great experience. Wallaceâs is one of the finest places in Cobb County to eat authentic Barbeque at a reasonable price. The sandwiches are always amazing, either pork or beef. The dinners are great and they include french fries or baked potato, salad or slaw and come with two rolls. The ranch dressing is great. They have many options to choose from so if you have children or family that are not Barbeque eaters, there is something for everyone. Donât forget to pick up a few fried peach or apple pies to take home and enjoy. The service here is southern and the staff are the kindest folks youâll find. If youâre looking for a fancy place then donât go here! Enjoy!
The fried chicken wings were good and crisp, the French fries were crisp and tasty. The fish was supposed to be grouper but taste like old whiting. I think all seafood is probably cooked in the same fryer so if you have a shrimp allergy you may have issues with any of the fish. The Banana fluff had slightly green bananas

We were traveling and saw this little place. We decided to stop on our return trip through the area. Amazing bar-b-q! Order at the counter, pick up at the other end of the counter. A small place, but great service. Now we need to try the breakfast!
If you're looking a place with great soul food in Mableton, this is the joint. It's a small place, but man oh man, the food is absolutely great. It's located in a small plaza and you may have to wait a little. That's only because they take care of each customer individually with their great service. Although I don't care for it, they have all kinds of southern soul food delicacies including, ox tails, collards, corn bread and okra. The prices are quite reasonable.

A good choice fora quick and tasty breakfast. Iâve heard they have good lunches also but I have only had breakfast here. The only disappointment is the overly greasy hash browns. But skip them and go for the cheese grits. All their breakfast meats are good but I recommend the tenderloin.

This is my pops go to spots so he took me while I was in town. The real mvp is the sauce they give you for the "bloomin" onion. I had the fried grouper and there was no need to put anything on it, it was perfect as is. We left waddling out like penguins
