prasino means "green" in Greek. So, it is only natural that every choice we make, from our food to our restaurant design to our kitchen facilities, reflects our respect for a sustainable environment. Our priority is serving hormone/anti-biotic free meats,
Recently visited to meet a coworker. Pleasantly surprised at the amount of seating, Inside there were booths and plenty of table seating in the huge restaurant. I also believe there was outdoor seating as well. Was seated pretty quickly, and ordered a plate of yogurt... it was plain yogurt, which I almost passed on, as I really like vanilla, but glad I didnât. It was full of granola and berries. What made th yogurt especially good was, the drizzle of honey. It was probably big enough for me, if I had ordered a few slices of toast, but I wanted to try their omelets. I ordered their hippie omelette, and added ham. It was really good, and super filling. I think next time, Iâd order it with a smaller amount of goat cheese, as it was kinda overwhelming, but good. Excellent venue and would highly recommend!

We just had lunch here and it is a dirty pit of a place! With all of the Irish Pubs in Chicago and its suburbs that this place was chosen by " Irishcentral" as one of the best in the USA means there is something drastically wrong with their review process. Chipped wood on tables, dirty floors and walls, decrepit woodwork. If the owners are trying to put some sort of authentic look to the place they have failed miserably. We've been to many pubs in Ireland as well as Illinois and this was by far the worst ever. We all had corned beef sandwiches and the food was average at best. Needless to say we won't ever be back and would never recommend it to anyone. If you are looking for nice Irish Pubs just go a few suburbs west of here for far better choices with clean well cared for surroundings and much better food.

The pre-meal Greek bread was marvelous, a good start. Crusty outside, soft inside. My wife ordered a fish sandwich (choosing fruit instead of fries) and a glass of tomato juice instead of soup. I ordered the Western Burger (requesting Swiss cheese instead of the normal Cheddar), clam chowder, and a root beer to wash it down. Both items were off the special of the day menu. In retrospect, I was not asked how I wanted the burger cooked. Hold that thought. The soup ended up being red clam, not white clam chowder. My bad - evidently I wasnât paying attention. Neither was the cook, who let the clams escape, leaving only shards of their bodies as they scrambled from the pot. The only plausible explanation, because my bowl didnât have a single chunk of clam, just tiny shards as if theyâd been shredded. Lots of vegetables and chunks of potatoes, if you like veggie and potato soup in red broth. My wifeâs plate showed up with a small cup of fruit but also the fries she didn't ask for. Their mistake, and there was no additional charge. My sandwich showed up with a torn top bun, literally two pieces. I used the split as a guide to cut my sandwich in half. The bacon was burnt, dark and hard, barely edible. The burger meat was medium well (I saw it on the receipt later), juiceless and joyless. A couple of bites in, I noticed yellow cheese around the edge. Yep, they forgot my Swiss cheese substitution. Now we're at two mistakes, not counting the soup, broken buntop, and not asking for meat temperature. The fries were well-done, as in cooked a little too long, and had no taste. And the barbecue sauce was very sweet. The food choices were mine but the lack of execution was theirs. I polished off the root beer because the food was so dry. I was not offered my one free refill. I had a chat with the proprietor when I paid the bill. He sensed I wasnât pleased and asked why. I shared the wrong cheese issue with him, and he said I should have asked them to remake it. âIt would only take a second.â I took that to mean that theyâd take the sandwich in back, scrape off the cheddar and put on a slice of Swiss instead. Gross! I decided not to share the burnt bacon and overcooked meat issues. At that point, I didnât think heâd accept my comments as constructive criticism. My wife had refused my first choice for lunch and selected this place instead. Next time I won't fold quite so easy. The only thing that made me smile through the entire visit was the music they played in the bathroom. A menu loaded with a huge variety of choices, but quantity doesn't imply quality.

Service was wonderful, free museum of yesteryear was interesting. Got there early, no crowd on a Sunday at noon. Delicious sides accompany the chicken order and very reasonable prices. Worth going for. So fresh you can almost hear the chickens cluck. Decorated nicely for holidays. I plan to go back-it's worth the trip. Rolls or bread or biscuits are the only thing missing. Fritters were heavy and more like donuts to be eaten after the meal, not before.

In th Ed area looking for a 6am breakfast place. Big menus, omletes, skillets, pancakes the works. Great coffee, great service. Food was hot, fresh and coffee carafe on the table. My kind of place, I'll come back here if I'm in the area.

Husband and I were out and about and stumbled across this place...best find in a long time. This is our new favorite restaurant. The quality of food is excellent, the portions are fantastic, and the pricing is incredible. Husband got an omelette with hash browns and pancakes. I got the chicken sandwich with fresh avocado, Swiss cheese, and pineapple. My meal came with soup and a side. I chose the navy bean, which has the most amazing flavor. For my side I decided to try the breaded mushrooms....they were so good. The waitress was also superb....Kaitlyn was the best waitress weâve had in a long time. She is kind and pays attention to detail. The entire experience was unforgettable....We will be back.

We love to try new restaurants so this was our first visit to Burger Antics. This is probably the best burger Iâve had, hands down, in eons! No 70/30 fatty, tasteless beef here...only buttery ground sirloin grilled to perfection! The beer selection is fabulous and the whiskey selection takes up two pages of the menu! The service was fast, efficient, and friendly. The restaurant itself is quaint, quirky, and cozy. We will definitely return!

This place gives you a small town country feel near the big city. Cute decor, friendly service and quality comfort food made this a great surprise. The breakfast dishes are both creative and delicious. Definitely worth a visit (family friendly & romantic).I will make my way back to this place.

Stopped in for lunch after visiting Brookfield Zoo. Friendly staff greeted us and we were told we could choose inside or out. Having been outside all morning we decided to stay in, but the outdoor patio looked nice. Our server was great and the food was very good. I had a burger and fries, and my husband had the shepherds pie which he said was wonderful. Would not hesitate to stop here again if in the area.

Awarded "Best of Chicago" and a "Neighborhood Gem" by Chicago Magazine the Chew Chew is back on track after a complete renovation of their new location in Riverside. Chef/Owner Scott Zimmer has re-opened the popular eatery two-blocks from the previous loc
Each year we have celebrated my Fathers Birthday. Even after he left us, we still celebrate as a family. My brother and sister and all of our families meet for dinner somewhere in the Chicago area. This year we chose The Chew Chew in Riverside Il. The Chew Chew came out as one of our favorite places to celebrate. Their service was exceptional and the food was great. The have great hamburgers but also have fish dishes. They even have a childrenâs menu. We all ordered the calamari and the edamame appetizer and were very pleased. Next came the main courses which were all superbly prepared. All our food came out correct and was piping hot. Our waitress took care of all ten adults and four kids under 10 without a hiccup. The Chew Chew also has a full bar which we took advantage. Desserts followed dinner with most of us ordering some gelato. Several bottles of wine were consumed and we left the restaurant very full and satisfied I highly recommend this relaxed atmosphere restaurant in the center of downtown Riverside Il
