My son lives in Long Beach and it was his choice to meet there for dinner. Eclectic menu with a good amount of seafood. You order at the counter and they bring the food. Same with a pretty good selection of craft beers. Had a dinner special of Bay Scallops over Vegetable Risotto, which was excellent. We shared an order of of Shaved Brussel Sprouts, also very good

My family had breakfast at the Atlantica this morning. The hostess Shannon was so sweet. She sat us right away and before I even had a chance to ask. She got a high chair sent over for my son. Shannon also checked on our table once seated to make sure everything was good What a great way to start the day!!!

Swingbellyâs Country Chicken Sandwich is not filling at all! It is quite expensive for its small portion. Serving it on a rectangular aluminum tray lined with wax paper that serves as a plate with pickled onions and pickles is not appetizing. The bread of the Shrimp BLT sandwich is too thick. I like the freshness of the LT and avocado but it was served with insufficient shrimps.

On December 9th 2018, my wife and children organized my 70th birthday party at the Allegria Restaurant. We had the party for about 18 people in one of their beautiful private rooms. It was on a Sunday and there was their famous Brunch... I've never seen so much food, short of a wedding. But the best part of the party, beside seeing my guests, was "REN", my room Captain/server. He was excellent at doing his job, he was courteous and very helpful to me, because I'm partially handicapped. When I went up for food (I went a few times) he followed me and asked to carry my plate on my way back. I said yes most times, but once I said no thanks, but he walked by my side to make sure I didn't fall. So, in the end, I thank my wife, both daughters, The Allegria, and Ren (an asset like him should be rewarded) for making my 70th so memorable....Stu B.

Been going to the beach in Lido for 15 years, never stopped here - because it's easy to miss. What a mistake: typical diner food, but with really friendly service and much better food.Food came out hot and cooked to perfection. Coffee and water refills without having to flag anyone down. It's a bit small, so be prepared to wait on sat or sunday mornings.

A nice selection of food and drinks. They have easy take out options and the atmosphere is very welcoming. I had some really yummy spinach as a side dish-I could eat it every day. Their gluten free options are reasonable too. The menu isnât limiting. They also seem to put on a pretty good show for patronsâ birthdays. The staff was really nice. Everyone looked happy to be there-which is a nice for a change

The Laurel Luncheonette & Restaurant, once neighbor to the Laurel Theater and birth place of the Cherry Lime Rikki soft drink, has been serving the public since 1932. Its nearly 80 year streak is a testament to the degree of customer satisfaction and loya
The Laurel Diner is clean, bright, and attractive inside. Our server was very nice and accommodating. The portions are large. My mother and I shared an appetizer size Spanikopita (Spinach pie) and a Greek salad (The Greek salad on the menu, under salads, comes with stuffed Grape Leaves; whereas the Greek Salad which comes with the Spanikopita entree does not. We were told that the actual Spanikopita is the same size, whether you get the appetizer or entree. I found this Spanikopita to be a little more greasy, but less salty than others I've had elsewhere. The salad was decent, with big chunks of feta. I wouldn't rush back.

While walking around trying to find a place to eat, we discovered LB Social. Thankfully the hostess took pity on us (we did not have reservations) and gave us a table. All of the food was amazing. The bacon salad was delicious. The social cookie was a perfect end to the meal and certainly big enough to share with everyone.

Jordan Lobster is a full service seafood restaurant with a retail store. We also have a clam bar and backyard bar which is open from Memorial Day through Labor Day weather permitting.
Dined on a Monday evening and was seated right away. Outside seating area was available. I thought that would have been enjoyable since restaurant states waterfront location. Quickly regretted that choice. Menu had a large selection of seafood options. Chose Lobster cakes, served with fries and coleslaw. Only tasted peppers and breading, not much lobster. Coleslaw was bland. They have a walk up counter to order carry out. I wanted to like this place but didnât have a nice enough experience to recommend.

From the moment you walk into the Lido Deli in Long Beach, NY, you know you are going to have a wonderful and satisfying meal. Right from the entrance starts the delightful parade of Jewish delicacies. They have a lavish and lush variety of items to choose from. The platters and individual cookies are the start to the glorious showcases housing wonderful Jewish dishes. Knishes, pickles, kugels, pot pies, latkas, cutlets, fried chicken, meats and salads are just a sampling of the mouth watering goodies that runs the length of the restaurant. You are then greeted by a welcoming staff member and escorted to a table. On the table is a bowl of very delicious coleslaw and assortment of pickles. Then the fun begins and you are presented with their amazing menu. This is one extensive menu. From breakfast dishes including omelettes and bagels and lox to a hot dinner entree. They have appetizers for a small bite. They have soups that are just divine. The matoh ball soup was heavenly. The matzoh ball was light and fluffy. This soup could cure everything from the common cold to the flu. The split pea soup was creamy and flavorful as well is their barley soup. The stuffed cabbage was fantastic in a sweet and sour sauce. I love knishes and nothing beats a hotdog from a Jewish Deli. We had the Sampler platter with hotdogs in blankets, potato knishes and potato pancakes, served with applesauce. Everything was terrific. The outside was crisp on the knish and pancakes and soft in the middle. The mini hotdogs were so flavorful. The overstuffed pastrami and corned beef sandwich was over the top. The very generous portions of meat topped with their homemade coleslaw, on the fantastic rye bread was dreamy. This is the epitome of a classic Jewish sandwich. We finished off with a cup of coffee and a classic black and white cookie. An authentic Kosher Jewish Deli is few and far between. Yes they have many good kosher style delis in the New York and Long Island area. The Lido Deli is a true Kosher Jewish Deli. They are kosher and abide by the Jewish guidelines of being strictly kosher. Growing up in Brooklyn, NY I had so many wonderful Jewish delis in my neighborhood. Now they are gone. I live in Long Island and many of the delis in my area are also gone. I am so happy that Lido Deli has stood the test of time and has stayed where they are and true to themselves. It was a privilege to have dined in this epic establishment. This is a classic Kosher Jewish Deli, run by 3rd and 4th generation family members. They are a family owned and operated establishment and is a staple in the community. With wonderful service from everyone who works there, I definitely will be back. My one and only complaint is that I wish I lived closer.
