I am a fine diner mostly but also like the occasional home cooking local dives. If people are in from out of town I always tell them to check this out. Prices are great HUGE selection and great home cooked foods.Great breakfast food and specials. I love their meatloaf sandwich tastes just like home cooked goodness. I have been there many times and also had take out many times and I have never been disappointed.

I had been craving a good beef on weck and today was the day my friend and I went to Wagner's for lunch. Service was quick. My cup of butternut squash/apple soup was delicious. The rolls were not crisp like they usually. They were totally soft rolls, but did have the seeds and salt on top. So, the beef on weck was good, but not outstanding. I was a little disappointed.

Arrived at 4:30 and got seated immediately. The waitress and staff were very friendly and service was prompt. I had the fillet mignon and my dad had the prime rib. Both were delicious!! Also liked the complimentary sherbert that came with the meal. Next time we are visiting Lockport it's a given we will be stopping here.

Family Owned & Operated, Comfort Food at Comfortable Prices
Very good service with excellent food at a reasonable price. The menu had a good selection of seafood, steaks and the like. Most pricing was average for local restaurants. The waiter was exceptional and friendly. Very accommodating and had a good selection of specials. The fish fry with corn flake crust, very light crust not greasy and fresh fish.

Step Inside, Step Back in Time
Their description of "Step Inside, Step Back in Time" is quite apt. You can get anything on the menu for breakfast OR lunch during hours of 7 AM - 3 PM. We ate lunch after completing the Volkswalk but could imagine being a regular. Huge salads!

New York Beer Project is a Destination Brewery, Gastropub, Taproom, Private Event Space, and Outdoor Biergarten located in Lockport, NY.
A nice assorted selection off their regular menu at reduced prices. The Jamaican Jerk Quesadillas filled with chicken, pepperjack cheese, black beans & cilantro, top with a sweet & spicy mango salsa was very tasty & satisfying. The juicy Flat Iron Burger was cooked to a perfect medium & topped with american cheese, lettuce & tomato.Service was friendly, efficient & attentive. An enjoyable lunch.

Fun times. Great people. Delicious food and drink. Thatâs what you get when you stop by Lock 34. Founded in 2011 by lifelong Lockport resident Brian Junke, weâre conveniently located right in the center of town, making us a convenient spot for all residen
We stopped in for a late lunch, and Carley was our server, she was attentive with good menu knowledge. I chose the Reuben, my bride went with the French Dip - both came with house made chips, and a pickle. Both were large servings, and very good. I had a draft IPA, and she had a flavored martini- canât go wrong. This is a good sized place, with many options for dining and drinking. It also appears they are set up for outdoor entertainment with a separate seating area and a bar. Plenty of on street parking, as well as a parking lot out back.Thrilled you and your bride enjoyed our sandwiches, Rick, There's no better way to enjoy a sandwich than with a juicy pickle and homemade chips in our book. We are super proud of our atmosphere and diverse menu. Sounds like you can relate. Looking forward to your next visit. Best regards, Brian J, Owner

For some reason we did not expect to see a great BBQ place in Lockport. The building is a little unasuming, but once inside,it had a nice comfortable feel with a welcoming little bar, great bbq smell and fast service. My burnt ends bbq sandwich was very good as was the Cole slaw. My wife liked her picken bbq sandwich, which was a combination of shredded pork and chicken. Our waitress was fantastic, tea sweet and we would put this place on top of our list to return to the next time we are in town. The next time I will try the beef on weck.

My wife and I have eaten lunch here at least a half-dozen times and have never been disappointed. The food is always fresh and freshly prepared., and the servers are friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable. Each time, we sit on the nice outdoor patio and have had great food and great service - that's why we go back.
