We read about White Rose System on Roadfood.com and decided we had to try it out on our road trip from Boston to Philly. It was definitely worth the extra 2 miles off the highway to eat somewhere other than McDonalds! The food was delicious and the staff was super friendly. We all ordered something different and everything was delish! Highly recommend if you are in the area!

Decided to eat there this past Easter..biggest mistake. The waiter was unprofessional seem to be off, service was horrible, orders were wrong, and when another server brought the food they were complaining that it was not there job to serve us.Will never go back there, will share my experience with my family and friends.
If you're looking for good Dominican home cooking this is definitely the place. The place is small but the service is amazing. You are welcomed and treated like you have arrived in someone's home. The menu has delicious mofongo. Don't leave without dessert and an espresso.
Warm platinum walls mixed with brick wall interior, dimmed lighting, tastefully designed bar with great cozy atmosphere really makes you think that you are more in the middle of Manhattan than in the heart of Linden. Amsterdam Alley Bar & Lounge offers wh
Spending a few days in Linden and discovering that Big Stash's had closed, we searched and happily discovered Amsterdam Alley. This is not a large building yet has a feel of plenty of room with a full bar and tables for dining. The menu is decidedly Polish and included Zywiec, a wonderful Polish beer on tap. Magda, our waitress, right from the old country, recommended food and drink and was perfect in her descriptions of both. We each ordered a plate of pierogies that were perfectly prepared and very tasty. I don't get to NJ very often yet the next visit will include Amsterdam Alley.

A Toute Heure is a local bistro located in the Centennial Village of Cranford, owned by Andrea & Jim Carbine and open since May of 2007. Offering lunch & dinner, and two special services - a "Last Sunday" brunch and a "Second Saturday" lunch. The menu cha
We live a few blocks away and have dined here many times in the past. Extreme disappointment in change in ownership--limited menu, poor choices, tasteless duck dish, miniscule portion of black bass, absence of condiments and seasonings, but we did receive a healthy dose of pompous attitude sprinkled liberally--not from our server but from the total experience. The cruise ship we just left had much tastier food. Even the coffee left a poor taste in our mouths. Sorry, we take joy in complimenting local establishments, comparing them often to similar positive experiences we have shared in New Orleans, Paris, and New York. Too bad this is not one of those times.

Dinner consisted of appetizers of eggplant rollatini, shimp in garlic sauce, Brie cheese and fruit platter and artichoke with garlic sauce..all delicious, crabcake appe was small sized for price.. For dinner we enjoyed the pork chop, steak, shrimp dinner ..But only issue would be the dessert and coffee prices ..abit pricey..$10.50 for A piece of tiramisu ..and a small portion at that..Cappuccino was good but at $5.95 a cup..pass on dessert/coffee.!!

Our kids gave my wife and me a gift certificate and it was just after Valentine's Day that we decided to have dinner at this well respected restaurant. Reservations were handled without a problem as we were seated on time. Very elegant dining room, with high back chairs and comfortable large chairs. My wife had a salad for her appetizer and I had the coconut shrimp with a mustard sauce for mine. Both were excellent as were our entrees, pasta for my wife and grilled tuna, prepared perfectly for me. Home made ice cream topped the dinner. The service and atmosphere was excellent. While a more limited menu that most other restaurants (there were no specials on the Saturday night) the selections were fine. Highly recommended and it's BYOB. Cost would run about $125 per couple without the gratuity. Well worth the price.

We found this restaurant on Tripadvisor...We were traveling through the area. It is a local establishment, not fancy and not very big. However, the menu was extensive and the beer selection was huge. Prices are very reasonable. The pizza and wings were great. The pizza is thin and crispy. A great experience overall.

I had a blackened chicken sandwich as is with a side salad. It was one of the best grilled chicken sandwiches I've had. Pickles seem made in house and the salad was mostly spinach with some iceberg, and a good chunky blue cheese. Better than your average bar sand, that's for sure.

Four of us came here for breakfast, getting off from Newark airport. We ordered pancakes and eggs, smoked salmon toast and I went for the PKT (Pork shoulder, Kale and tomato). I liked it very much and it was not greasy. The pork shoulder was prepared like bacon, and the whole sandwich was slightly hot and spicy, but very delicious. Service was good and coffee could be refilled.
