Having heard some positive comments about the food here, some friends and I decided to try it for Sunday lunch. We were given a roomy table in the attractive dining room, and we were introduced to a menu which featured a selection of meats and vegetables to suit any taste. After asking the very pleasant and helpful waitress for her personal recommendations, I ordered fried chicken with tomato pie and fried okra. It's unusual to see tomato pie on a menu and not all tomato pies are worth recommending. The chicken was excellent; the tomato pie was something I look forward to ordering again; and the okra was flavorful and lightly fried. The helpings were plentiful and the prices were very reasonable. Comments around the table indicated that everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals. While this was my first time at this restaurant, it definitely won't be my last. This is a great choice for some very good food.

I like this place because it is very clean and efficient. The help is way above average for a fast food restaurant. The sandwiches are great and the fish sandwich is very good. Their chicken is very good and a different favor of most fast food fried chicken. The sides are fresh and tasty. Their specialty is their beef sandwiches which are very fresh and generously made. I visit them often for a quick snack.

I think it is often forgotten about since it's in a grocery store but the Café has a ton of great food and options for lunch and dinner. We have had tried it all: pizza, subs, hot bar, salad bar and haven't had a bad meal yet. You can't beat the hot bar deal for $5 which includes a meat and two sides. They will even slice your favorite meat from the deli for your sub.

This was our first time here. You seat yourself and a waitress comes over quickly to get the drink order. She answered our questions about the menu. And then took our lunch order. The food came out quickly. And it was good! We took home leftovers because the portions are large. Glad we found this little cafe! We will be back.

Lincolnton should be very excited to have this caliber of restaurant. This is a great place to eat, meet friends for a drink. The food is outstanding. The chef's go out of there way to make every dish look as good as it tastes and boy oh boy do they taste good. I have been here at least a dozen times and have never had a bad meal. You can pick anything off the menu and you will be happy.

If you want to step back in time to a diner where everyone knows everyone else and you get great food and great service incredibly cheap, this is the place for you. On second thought, itâs a small joint with only a few tables and I donât want them to fill up when we want to go, so...it stinks. Donât ever ever go there. Haha. Props to the gal who was wearing all the hats today. You rock!!!

After reading reviews here and elsewhere, we had to try them out. No misrepresentation here. Good choice of dishes and the food is fresh, the taste excellent, service good.Wife had a "Love Me Salad", big salad, nice varied vegetarian dish with dried fruits, nuts, and accoutrements.Husband had "Shroom Huevos",eggs over beans, lettuce & other veggies, and a great pepper relish, all atop tortilla chips; excellent. Bill total before tax: $28 including one ice tea. Highly recommended.

Staying locally, both my Wife and I decided Pizza was on the menu for us tonight! We chose this place due to the reviews on TA and they werenât wrong at all! We shared the 16â âChicken Ranch Pizzaâ which was the one of the best Pizzaâs we have ever had. Meal and drinks were not badly priced and if you are staying locally or a local, then this place is worth a visit in our view.
