The place was very busy and it was a long wait for a table so the hostess suggested we go to the brew pub. We followed her advice and got a seat which was great, or so we thought until we met the server. He was just not just brusque but downright rude. He practically barked at people until it came to the time of paying the bill and leaving a tip.....then he was nice.I understand it was busy but there was no need to speak to people this way. The food was also just ok and nothing to write home about. My hubbie had chicken pot pie. It looked like an alien! I wish I had taken a picture. It was basically chicken soup with the biggest piece of puff pastry on it I have ever seen. It was not particularly tasty. I had the Cobb salad which was just ok. On the plus side the beer was good.....maybe they should just concentrate more on this aspect of the business! Thanks for your honest review Deranne. It is always our goal for our patrons to leave happy, and it appears as though we dropped the ball with you. Please try us again, we will not disappoint!

My fiancee and I were in the area for a couple days and went to One Love two days in a row for beers and apps. First day, Sunday, was beautiful outside so we sat outside on the deck, which was a little cramped and could go with a few less tables. Other than that we were very pleased with the service and the menu was very appealing, many different things that I wanted to get. We decided to share an order of poutine and were very happy with it, gravy was really good but it didn't drown the fries. The beers were good, my fiancee really liked the red. When driving by the following day after hiking we decided to go in again and happened to be there during Happy Hour where they have a small plates app menu. We shared the fried cheese curds and were extremely glad we chose it. I was especially surprised at the size of the serving since it was a small plate. We opted to sit inside at the bar, which was really large, and it seemed like they'd be able to seat a lot of people. If we had more time in the area I'm sure we would've stopped again and gotten more food since our first two experiences went so well.

Absolute perfection. This dinner train experience was one of the coolest things Iâve ever had the pleasure of doing.Ali & Mike are absolute show stoppers and LOVE their work. The experience is personal, the food is delicious and the drinks were on point. All the way from Bermuda, we would do it again in a heart beat. Thank you for a wonderfully unforgettable evening.Thank you for the nice review. We enjoyed chatting to you about the history of each of our railcars. See you next time.

Ate here for dinner while on vacation. Its part of a hotel and small. We ate on the deck. The food is neither superior or horrible. Just average. They did not offer my daughter a kids menu and so she ordered a Turkey Pot Pie and needless to say she didn't eat much of it - not because it was bad but she is a kid - the pot pie was an adult version. The area is limited for restaurants especially if you are staying an entire week.

Gordi's is in a lovely location at one end of the Kancamagus Scenic Byway, surrounded by rolling hills which are beautiful in the fall. The restaurant was pleasant and the service was good, but the food was ho-hum. We arrived for an early dinner so the restaurant was not crowded and the wait was only a couple of minutes. My husband had fish & chips and I had chicken Florentine. They were fresh and satisfying but not unusually good. They do bring fresh warm bread to the table before the meal which was delicious. Maybe some of their other dishes are better, but we were also trying to find something more affordable (some of the items were quite pricey). We decided to share dessert for a chocolate bite and again it was okay but nothing interesting.

Nostalgic, friendly, not very big and basic diner decor and atmosphere. Stopped here early before my hike for a hearty breakfast. If you're solo, you must sit at the counter even if there was only one other person there (at the counter). Ordered veggie omelet, hash browns, toast - all yummy & filling. Good coffee & friendly and efficient waitress. Will be back to try something different. Definitely recommend - Prices reasonable but cash only.

This is a very popular âinstitutionâ with good traditional american food. Prepare for long waiting at dinner time, but enjoy the free crackers and cheese while waiting. The bar is also very friendly with a nice variety. We came twice and enjoyed each time

Great Place, Great Food, worth the wait in line, but recommend the earlier the better. There's also a very special nuance to the place; it's dedicated proceeds to The Beth Foundation, to help in the fight against Scleroderma. The "Hooterville Sandwich" was delicioso, yummy, vundabar, and just plain good!
