We're Always Cookin' There's something about a freshly made meal, prepared just for you. Maybe it's a waffle sundae to celebrate the day you get your braces off, or a plate full of loaded hash browns after a Saturday morning soccer game. Whatever the occa
We stopped off for breakfast choosing the HH over others nearby. We were greeted immediately upon entry and took a seat without waiting. The waitress was very pleasant and brought coffee out almost immediately. The eggs were cooked the way we asked and the bacon and sausage were very good. I had a biscuit and gravy. While the gravy was excellent, the biscuit was nearly brick-like. But the flavour was good.
Woke up hungry and craving a quick and tasty, breakfast place near you? From fluffy, hand-rolled Made From Scratch⢠Biscuits⢠to crispy bacon on our classic breakfast platter to breakfast favorites that you can't get anywhere elseâ¦Hardee's® serves food ju
When the competetion is fierce, Hardee's will stand out. I have tried all their competetors, the Hardees biscuit is best prepared. There is never an under-cooked one offered, most are pleasingly crusty to support the standard fillings. The staffers here tend to be long-term employees. Cora Wilson has more than 40 years' service! The counter staff are usually quite well trained, the food is supplied quite quickly, so one is seated and eating in a flash. I have seen the drive-thru line extended completely around the building from the street, so the offerings must be the best. No other eatery demonstrates this level of attendance.
Local favorites open brick and mortar location. Famous for their catfish nuggets and smoked bbq. offering those and a mouthwatering menu.
I just tried this place to grab a quick lunch with my wife and wasn't even a little disappointed. The establishment is super clean and interestingly decorated with a quirky southern BBQ touch. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We both had the pulled pork sandwich lunch special which comes with seasoned fries and coleslaw for $8.99. The sandwich and fries were both very good and the slaw wasn't bad but was lacking a little in flavor. I suppose, however, the slaw isn't the draw. The BBQ had big flavor leaving me wanting more. In addition to the sauce that came on the sandwich they make other sauces (original, mustard, and spicy) available to add if you want to mix it up or make it extra saucy. I am definitely planning on going back to sample their other menu items, which I included a photo of. I recommend trying the big flavor in this small town BBQ!
I get to Lake City twice monthly making deliveries for the Red Cross to the hospital and I am always on the look out for new places to eat as my wife and both enjoy variety and try to never eat at a chain when on the road. On one of those trips, we spotted Snax because of the large ice cream cone on the roof and decided to give it a try. It is located in an old Esso gas station and uses an old pump and signs to decorate the outside seating area, located where cars pulled in to get gas back in the day. It is very bright and cheery and the staff keeps it spotlessly clean. My wife and I only got ice cream that day but they also have hot dogs -- maybe we will try them on the next trip to Lake City. If you have trouble finding it, just find the railroad tracks, follow them and look for the big ice cream cone on the roof. The staff there were all very polite and cheerful -- stop in and give them a try! We're glad that we did!
Unless you know where this restaurant is located, you will have a hard time finding it. It is located at the end of a road, near an old tobacco warehouse.Very Diverse menu. Fantastic Food, Friendly Staff, Good Prices. You will not be disappointed.
Captain D's is always so hit or miss with the quality of the fish especially with it being overcooked. This place was great from the moment we walked in. The staff was incredibly friendly and the food was good! The fish was cooked in a very light batter, cooked to perfection.
Bojangles' began in 1977 and saw an opportunity to develop a quick-service restaurant chain based on three attributes: a distinctive flavor profile; wholesome, high-quality products made from scratch; and a fun, festive restaurant design with fast, friend
Ordered a salad for takeout last week and as the title suggests the vegetables were rotten. I wouldn't serve what they did to an enemy. We all should speak out and stop paying for less than substandard products. Bojangles, you should be ashamed!

Went to Art field and stopped here for lunch. Friendly service and great fried chicken! ( one of lunch specials) and 3 sides. Lovely place with real flowers on table and white cloth table clothes. We will definitely return! In an old train station on the side of the track! Yes, the train went by but the sound was real nostalgic and added to the quaintness!

When traveling & we are near here, we always detour to The Shrimper. Their food is delicious. The servings are huge. The wait is long. The service is fast & friendly. My absolute favorite is their fried chicken. The prices are better than reasonable! Check out this great place to eat, yum!

Let's start with the positive. The atmosphere is excellent! The dining area is eclectically decorated with a mixture of art and random items. The decor leaves the diner feeling quite comfortable and provides plenty to chat about while waiting for your meal. The food is good, not great, yet falls short of what they are charging. (I added a side of asparagus for $7 because the meal only came with a side salad.) I had the Margarita flat bread and the She Crab soup (both had good flavor but the soup was served a bit cool). My steak was severed with chateaubriand sauce, which was very good, but the meat was more rare than the medium rare that I ordered. I finished my my dinner with the Crème Brûlée which was served beautifully and tasted good. The service definitely needs improvement. Our server alternated between ignoring us and insulting us. More than once she checked on us to see how we were doing only to suggest that we must really like the food because we had eaten a lot (that was after dining for an hour). I would highly recommend this place if you are more concerned about the atmosphere than you are about the value of your meal and the service you're receiving.
