Voted 2015 & 2016's Best New Restaurant in La Crosse, The Crow is La Crosse's only bar & restaurant dedicated to providing craft beer, unique bourbon, and great American food.
Visited the Crow for a light dinner over Labor Day weekend. The service was very good but the food was average. We had a single-patty grilled cheese burger and a single-patty mac-cheese burger. Both were prepared well and were a nice sized serving. The patties seemed like premade/frozen and very lightly seasoned. The mac and cheese on the burger was the highlight - it was very cheesy and the pasta was cooked well. The prices were very reasonable so I would eat here again but would not go out of my way to come here.Thank you for the review, Jjlash. We appreciate your detailed feedback, as it allows us to constantly grow and improve. We are pleased you enjoyed excellent service. Your comments regarding your burger choices have been shared with our concerned kitchen team. We hope you allow us the chance to "wow" you on a future visit.

The Restaurant serves rustic French-inspired cuisine in a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. Utilizing the best of the season's offerings, the dishes emerging from the open kitchen are fresh, simple, and down-to-earth. The Restaurant is open seven days
They were not busy and we had reserved for our group of eight the night before. The menu was smaller, which I personally like. Portions were generous and attractively served. Parfait with berries, bagels, breakfast sandwiches, French toast, we tried them all and they were all delicious. Might have been a few dollars mor than a usual breakfast, but, considering the taste and presentation, it was worth it.

Traditional Irish pub & eatery located on 3rd and Main in downtown La Crosse, WI. Great place to watch sports, watch live music, hang out with friends, eat delicious food, and participate in good conversation. We're all a wee bit Irish at Dublin Square. S
My husband and I stopped last night after Moon Tunes and we expected it to be busy. However, we were seated outside right away which was encouraging. It took a while for someone to bring us a menu and take a drink order which again was disappointing, but somewhat expected. It took at least 15 minutes for us to get our drinks. When the waitress finally brought our drinks she blamed the wait on the bar (the bartenders did not appear busy). I asked her if kitchen service was going to be just as slow and she said "yes, at least an hour for food". We had about a 40 minute drive home and I would have liked to have know that before we wasted 30 minutes getting a beer. It would have been nice to know of the excessive wait when we placed our drink order as we most likely would have just chosen to go home. I don't think if I'd asked she would have volunteered that info. Shame on me for not asking before we ordered but I think the wait staff should be aware that not everyone lives in LaCrosse and not everyone has nothing but time on a Thursday night. It's great that they were busy and lesson learned on my end.Debra, thank you for sharing your time with us. We never want our guests to feel rushed or that they've waited too long. It's my hope that this was a one time issue and that you'd consider coming to see us again. If so, please email us at [email protected] so that we can offer to make this experience up to you. Thanks again for bringing this to our attention. Let's talk soon.

We read the reviews and thought it would be nice for my wife's birthday. Got the signature appetizer sampler, at best ok. Crab cakes over done, mushrooms small and no visible seafood, pork bellies and shrimp over sauced. Calamari tasted pre done from a frozen product.Ordered wedge salads, lettuce, pre cooked bacon, Bleu cheese dressing and virtually no other veg; tomatoes, cucumbers, etc.All ok, but we expected far better. Been a chef myself for 42 years and this was not as promised, advertised, or worth the 52.00 paid. Service was very slow. Entrees came and she had even cleared the appetizer.Wedg

This is a great place for steak and not good for a diet. The server was excellent. We started with the salad bar. Lots of choices. We had four steaks and they were outstanding. We enjoyed the sides but could hardly finish them. We saw desserts on other tables that looked fabulous but couldn't imagine ordering any.

We attended for a birthday gathering, and the server did an outstanding job. Shawn made sure the birthday girl was treated to a great night. The drinks have actors names, and we all had to give one a try. The food was excellent! It came out hot, and we all got our meal at the same time. Reservations are a must.Thank you so much, 380ds. We truly appreciate the great rating and kind comments about our awesome food and friendly staff. We look forward to your next visit. Thank you, 380ds.

ordered appetizer of Grilled lamb spiedini, harissa, yogurt and cilantro. Excellent! A pasta dish for dinner (their menu changes regularly) and dessert. All were fabulous! My entree was a bit spicy and waitress was more than willing to refill the order. The waitress was courteous and engaged in conversation. The goal of this restaurant is to make the customer happy and satisfied...and they did!
