All the food was made to order so it took a bit but it was so worth it! They have great beers on tap to enjoy! A nice friendly place to hang out an have some great food.
Prices and food were not what we expected from a local tavern. However the food was excellent. We asked for some bread and were told we had to pay for it. We did so. It came with specialty butters which were tasty. Would go again for a special night out.

There is no restaurant anywhere in the world that serves more outstanding dinners than here, and I have been everywhere.

We stopped for dinner and tried the Prime Rib Special. Soup or salad, prime rib with choice of sides and dessert included. The place was crowded and the servers, kitchen and owner were in high gear. Everyone was greeted, seated and fed in a timely manner. Good food and service. We saw chicken parmigiana come out and it looked tasty! The food was flavorful- we will be back. They've got a great team working together to serve you.

We were a party of 6 and as we walked in we encountered a sign stating "seat yourself".We did just that..............and waited.....................and waited. I got up and helped myself to two high chairs from a closet that I had noticed on the way in. We sat the nearly 3 year old in one and the nearly one year old in the other. Then we waited some more. The chef popped his head out of the kitchen so I thought....OK, they now they have additional customers (there was only one other table occupied) but no, we wait some more. My daughter (mother of the little ones) asks me "should we just head down to Gabby's?" Well I didn't want Mexican food. Well, finally a gal comes over to the table (almost 15 minutes had passed) and gives us menus and comes back maybe 5 minutes later to fill the water glasses. We finally order, I ordered from the specials menu Patti-Melt sandwich. It came out so greasy, the onions were floating in grease, the bread was saturated, couldn't even pick it up. Gross....... maybe they do weddings very well but I have been married for almost 39 years and I am not doing that again so... I will not return.

Met friends for tapas and drinks on an early fall evening. I usually do not like cider but Westwind's Italian owners make their ciders like fine sparkling winse. It's a magical property, well maintained and sculpted with love. The caprese salad is made with buffalo mozzarella imported weekly from Naples. The gnocchi is actually fresh potatoes. It's farm fresh food with orchard-fresh cider in a beautiful country setting. Wonderful place for family, friends, and couples.

My wife who was from Woodburne and I have been visiting this restaurant for over 10 years now. We sold the house a few years back but regularly visit the area. We make it a point to stop in if possible every time, and we are never disappointed. In one of their e-mail newsletters, there was an all you can eat mussel event happening on the 22nd of September. We both love fresh steamed mussels so I made the reservation for 3 PM. Why, cause we are about a 4 hour drive from our home. We were eagerly anticipating Chef Marcus's culinary skills. We were not disappointed ! We walked in the front entrance and were immediately acknowledge by a friendly associate. When informed of our reservation he directed us to the outside patio. We were immediately seated and our server asked initially why we were there and beverages. He was quite knowledgeable about servings and we both took him up on his suggestion on what to go with mussels. After a short wait, our beverages appeared and we were informed about the three variations of mussels to start off with. Our table was the first table next to the chefâs station, and while my back was toward it, my wife commented the Chef Marcus was quite busy making customers orders fresh. We both tried various combinations, and all were cooked perfectly to kill for. Great taste and flavor, plenty of ingredients, hot, steamy and fresh. They were soft and went down quickly. Since everything was cooked to ordered, there was a brief wait as other tables were served. As expected, there is never an issue with meals at this location, we spend a leiserly two hours at our table, thoroughly enjoying our servings, well worth the 4 hour drive. Both Chef Marcus and his wife were working the event and we observed their interactions with customers, many of which were locals and regulars. I do have to comment that their son, whom we regularly saw as a young toddler years ago when we lived in the area, is now 6ft plus and just as friendly as his dad. He along with other associates were serving tables, and during the course of our meals, all the servers were conscious of tables and clearing off bowls of shells, in addition to refilling mussel orders from the Chef. Towards the end of the event, the crew was removing some of the ingredients by the Chef, out came two more customers, not a problem, ingredients were returned and the Chef did his magic again, with a smile. As we departed the side entrance, we were thanked by several associates for coming in a personable manner. Over the years we have attended several events that this establishment has put on and always we leave after every dinner, event or not, say âweâve got to move back cause we have not found any restaurant that we like as much as Aroma Thymeâ.Laurence,Thank you for the amazing 5-Star review and comments. We really appreciate your business and always supporting us. We are so glad that once again you enjoyed your dining experience with us. We can't wait for you and your wife to come and visit with us again!
Worst service everrrr! Slow, unattentive. If you say 'what's quick? I don't have much time' they seem to take even longer. Charge .75 to take home a tiny tiny cup of salad dressing so you can eat your meal after leaving...ya know...'cause it took a 1/2 hour to get to you and now you've got to go. It's a salad people!

I have eaten here repeatedly over the past 20 years and through several owners. They're the staff has changed up a bit, the cooks are still good. This is typical diner food. Nothing spectacular but nothing bad. Not a greasy spoon.

This is one of the places that even if it's "out of your way" you still need to take a drive and come here. Are you a hophead? With six rotating drafts you always have a different experience every week, try another one, try another two. Kane, is the master of brewing, my forte are Belgians and they are always on point. So, you're not a big fan of beer? Why should you come?Food, anything you order is GOOD from a Caesar salad to a rib-eye steak. My biggest pet-peave when I go to a restaurant, and I order food, and I'm still hungry. Never my case here... ever. Service is always efficient and friendly, need I say more about why you need to go there?
