Its a Fish Market and Seafood Take out or Eat In establishment. I got the Broiled Salmon which was cooked perfectly and my sides were rice and vegetables. My hubby had the Fried Oyster Platter, rice and vegetables; hush puppies, dinner roll and pickles are served with meal too. It's a busy place as folks do take out for dinner. We decided to eat in.

This place is way over rated. There are so many other options near here that have outstanding food for a more reasonable price.Great place to go if you are trying to make a good impression with a high end feel /white linen, but keep food expectations lowThank you for taking the time to leave a review. We are regulars at the Silver Diner as we like their food and alsobecause our 8 year-old granddaughter loves the place. We were byourselves on this visit and, instead of ordering our usual, we decided to try2 new dishes advertised on the wall at the entrance area. Afterordering the Coconut Curry Tofu Skewers appetizer from the lunch, wetried unsuccessfully to locate the 2 new dishes which, we discovered, are on thedinner menu. So we asked our friendly young server to just bring thepromoted dishes. The mashed potatoes and corn and asparagus helpedmake the Cajun salmon & Carolina shrimps more palatable, as did thesambal agave glaze and the curry sauce to the taste of the Tofu &Lentils dish, even though the sambal and curry were not the spicykind.We like the fact that our designated school is rewarded for our diningvisits. It is also a nice touch that Silver Diner offers eachmember a free meal on his/her birthday.

Choosing to visit for lunch an old favorite, my party of three friends ate here one week day recently. The atmosphere and attentive wait staff were the only good things I can say about our meal. First of all, I will warn that when I began this review, I observed that the in-house menu is quite different than what's posted. Second, when ordering an iced tea- unsweetened, I was served an 'arnold palmer', which I did not like and promptly returned. The entrees (soup and sandwiches) were adequate, but not tasty. The only food I enjoyed was a kale/cabbage slaw accompanying a sandwich. The chicken tortilla soup was way overpriced (9.) and nothing like the brothy other versions I have enjoyed elsewhere. For a side order of fries, we were charged $14- YES, you read that correctly !! All in all, this was not the wonderful experience we used to remember in the distant past and, needless to say, I probably won't be back.

We got a first-hand experience at Seasons 52 North Bethesda in Maryland for a group dinner. Waiters service, meals quality, customer appreciation, quality service assurance, meal presentation, and drinks are very impressive. They show their love to us as customers. Also, we loved free birthday cake because they value our loyalty with Seasons 52 and they did not forget our birthday dates. Awesome job @ Seasons 52!

Parkway Deli is a classic. I had a crab cake sandwich and was disappointed with the amount of filler it had. I expected better. On a more positive note, my friend tried an Impossible Burger and really liked it.Hi, Thanks for your feedback. We will improve on our crabcakes and cut back on the filler.

Stopped in here with a friend. It's a small restaurant tucked in a tiny strip mall. The food was ok, nothing special but no problems, and the service was fairly quick. When I was leaving the area, I realized that Dish & Dram appears to be the only restaurant in this part of Kensington. That must explain the rave reviews, when you're the only show in town, it's easy to be rated the best.

My husband and I visited the DC area in early January, and tried this restaurant for the first time. We had a delicious lunch and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. There were 4 in our group. Two of us had a vegetarian lunch and two of us were carnivores. All four of us agreed the food was excellent, and reasonably priced. The ambiance is lovely, as the restaurant is located in a Victorian-style house in a residential neighborhood. There is a railroad track next to the house, and while we were eating a train went zooming past. This only happened once and, rather than being an annoyance, it just added to the unique vibe of the place. We were impressed by the level of service. The wait staff refilled my water glass several times without my having to ask. Terrific spot, highly recommended.
