We heard they had great fish and shrimp tacos and had to verify...they were excellent! The entire place is beautifully renovated, and there are a lot more items on the menu we will be back to try!

Great food and drinks. The scallops are to die for. Others had tenderlion which was nice and juicy and prime rib. The great selection of the salad bar with two soups are also great. Can not wait to go back

We went out to eat about 5pm on a Saturday night. The atmosphere was very cozy and pleasing. We sat at the bar and had a few drinks while enjoying the football game. They make their own picketed mushrooms. They were the best I've ever had! I ended up purchasing a jar for home. We were seated near the fireplace, which was lovely. Our waitress and bartenders were very friendly. I ordered the chicken alfredo on the advice of our waitress. The sauce is homemade and so delicious. I'm so glad I tried it. I will definitely get it again! Thank you to the staff for making us feel so welcome. We are certainly coming back!! Prices are very good too.

The Hollander has been here for a long time, and seems to be as popular as ever. Good food, good drinks, friendly staff, low prices... your dollar goes a long way here. This restaurant began as a Wisconsin supper club called Willyâs. Willyâs was a very popular and successful restaurant for many years. A few years back, as their customer base began to get a bit older, and younger folksâ tastes and dining habits were changing, Willyâs closed and was transformed into the current sports bar format. Some of the most popular menu items, such as the signature patty melt, breasted chicken and fish fries, carried over to the Hollander. I highly recommed The Hollander.

This is a great Wisconsin Supper Club. Great drinks with really good food. The wait can be long at times but thatâs what supper clubs are all about and the food is worth the wait. You can enjoy great drinks and complimentary appetizers at the bar while waiting. Try the liver paste and homemade garlic toast while you are at the bar.

Took my hubby there for an early Father's Day dinner. A Saturday, early evening, a little after 4 and there was already a wait for a table. Once we were seated, our waitress was quick and friendly. Our meals were fantastic, prime rib and tenderloin/haddock. I'd love to give this a higher rating, but I've got to say in this day and age, it's time to step up in the salad bar area. How about something BESIDES iceberg lettuce? A mix or a couple of choices?

We seated ourselves as the sign instructed, and then we were quickly greeted by the friendly waitress who asked if we wanted any drinks right away. We ordered our food, but it was delayed when she came back to say they didn't have the veggie burger that I ordered. So I ordered a chicken and black bean salad which was "grilled chicken served on mixed greens topped with tomatoes and our homemade black bean salsa." Isn't salsa red? There were some tomatoes on the salad, but the "salsa" was basically beans, corn, onion, and green peppers. That was considered the "dressing" which just made the whole salad rather boring. We were impressed and pleased at both the level of music and the variety played. Clearly this place caters to the mature crowd, so we were pleased we would be able to hear the music and still have a conversation. That ended when they decided to vacuum. Please don't vacuum when people are in the restaurant! For those reasons, we certainly won't return.Voice1234, I hope this note finds you well. We have sent your feedback to the personnel concerned. I apologize for this bad experience. This is very disappointing to hear, but we hope you give us another chance to make it up to you. Please let me know if you want to discuss this personally.

My family has been going to Van Abelâs for Motherâs Day and Thanksgiving since I was a kid. And in my 28 years on planet Earth. Iâve never once had a bad meal and in my opinion it isnât chicken unless itâs Van Abelâs chicken. Plus with a sit down you have the ham, mashed potatoes, Green Beans, bars, and stuffing and thatâs what I can just List by memory. Iâve always came out quite stuffed afterwards. I say everything is made in a way only Van Abels can do. Thereâs a reason my family keeps tradition of going to Van Abels alive, and the food is why. Plus itâs usually full, rarely will one see the place empty, plus despite all the people the staff is usually friendly and attentive. Iâm a huge fan of Van Abels

This was my first time in this restaurant. I ordered the chicken dinner special listed for that day. The others ordered breakfast items. We waited, waited, waited, drank more coffee, more coffee, and then we asked the waitress why the delay. She called over the manager who informed us that the chicken takes longer to prepare and that our waitress should have told us. Yes, that would have been very helpful. Unfortunately, when our meal did arrive the mashed potatoes were cold, and the corn was cold and tasteless! Perhaps I'll try this place again to give them a second chance!
