The Speedway Club is a private facility overlooking Turn 1 of Texas Motor Speedway. It houses a health club, full-service salon and spa and a fine dining restaurant and bar with a great view of the track.
We dined on what we thought would be a busy night on a weekend. There was one other couple there. The reality is that the business here revolves around the Texas Motor Speedway and those are the very busy times. Besides this dinner we have been to some very large formal functions here and the facility and service is excellent. If you are planning a large event give these folks a shot before heading to the local hotels to book the ballroom. You will be very happy.

Serving hand-crafted pizza and delicious, fresh Italian food to our neighbors in North Texas.
We went to this store the first time and the listed pizzas were 'pretty imaginative. We passed and went elsewhere. Then the family wanted to go there (Daughters and Husbands and Grandkids). We went and I asked about modifying or starting over from scratch and ordering what I consider a long time favorite normal pizza :-). The made it, I ate it, I liked it, and now we go there to eat. Proof is in the eating, chuckle.

This was the first restaurant we went to after we landed in Texas for the first time. Our friends asked us what we wanted for dinner and we said barbecue. They knew exactly where to bring us.We loved that you can order by weight and that you actually see them cooking the meat. You get a tray and once they give you your meat, you can pick some toppings and sides. We loved the decor too! Everything is perfect about this place!

The Classic Cafe is a relaxing, cozy cottage serving original New American cuisine.
I ate at the Classic for the first time today, having discovered it only yesterday by happenstance. This is the sort of place I am always hoping to find: a place with character, off the beaten path, in a casually elegant setting, with the food imaginatively prepared from fresh ingredients, and a good wine list. I am very glad I came and certainly intend to return. On a small street just off Highway 377, The Classic at Roanoke is in a World War I-era house that was actually transported here from Amarillo. It is family-owned, and the two owners and their chef, Charles, have been a team for more than 20 years. Charles maintains a small garden on the premises that is the source of many of the ingredients in his expertly prepared dishes. The interior of the place is decorated by abstract art done by local artist Carolyn Riegleman. I started with their fig martini, Tito vodka in a fig purée and a single fig, accompanied by their roasted garlic and goat cheese dip. Warm bread was also brought to the table and olive oil poured in a dish, as well as an amuse-bouche of "Texas caviar," a spicy bean concoction in a small puff pastry. I continued with their butternut ravioli, served with mushrooms, pearl onions, tomatoes, kale, and toasted pepitas in a sage cream sauce, absolutely delicious, accompanied by a New Zealand Pinot Gros from their ample wine list. I finished the meal with a cup of black coffee and a single Highland Malt.Curtis, one of the owners, had greeted me as I came in and stopped by to chat. He has been in the restaurant business since he was a boy. My friendly and very efficient server, Audrey, amazed me by recommending a Port from their list of after-dinner drinks; she is about college age, and I don't really expect people of that age to even know what Port is, but the staff are very punctilious and extraordinarily well trained. When I left for a few minutes to go to the restroom, I came back to find my dinner napkin neatly draped over the back of my chair. My only complaint is that I ordered my ravioli with an optional addition of three Gulf shrimp, but the shrimp weren't included! When I pointed this out to Audrey, she immediately offered to return the dish to the kitchen to rectify the mistake, but the dish worked just as well as it was. Other than that, everything about the experience was flawless, and I highly recommend this place.

Have you ever told your family what youâd do different if you opened a restaurant? Well, thatâs exactly why we opened Babeâs Chicken Dinner House. We wanted a sit-down restaurant where people really feel at home. Where your neighbors wait on you and your
Visiting from AZ where we don't have such fun places. They do two dishes only, fried chicken or chicken fried steak. Pick one. Enjoy! Veggies served family style by attentive wait staff. Clean, efficient, fun and well worth it. In Old Town Roanoke, TX with free parking across the street. Don't miss this when in the area, it's a local legend and this is the original location of this small chain.

Our friends wanted to take us to this place. I initially thought "another fried chicken place". The food was delicious! The chicken was not greasy but perfectly cooked! My husband had the fried Catfish and it was wonderful too! This is defiantly a fast food delight. The staff was friendly and helpful!

I had lunch at the Lonesome Spur after a several month absence. The food was not of the quality of my prior visit. Apparently their has been a turnover of employees as it appeared to be new employees. The service was not as good as in previous visits.

Went to the Outlaw Burger for lunch during the week. Had a very good hamburger and fries. I had heard the burgers were good and they didnât disappoint me. The burger was juicy and tender, no packaged burger here. The burger patty was hand made and therefore tender. The fries were real potatoes and were cooked just right.A very casual restaurant. You order at the register and pay and then find a table. The place is bigger inside than it looks from the outside. We were thinking since we were there at about 12:15 we would be looking for a table, instead there were lots of tables available even though they were busy.Food arrived relatively soon after ordering.Parking in front of the restaurant is somewhat limited. They have a good variety of other meals besides burgers. The BBQ smelled good and we saw people eating the BBQ.Prices were reasonable also.

We serve Hamburgers, Sandwiches, Seafood, Mexican, and Barbecue.
This little restaurant is, of course, run by "Mom" and is truly the epitome of small-town service with a friendly attitude. Our order was taken promptly and served in a timely manner. The menu reflects home cooking selections and lots of comfort food. Their specialty seems to be coconut cream pie since several customers came in to pick up whole pies that they had ordered. We enjoyed our meal and will be repeat customers.
