I read several reviews of how much people thought this restaurant was a wonderful place to eat. So we finally got a chance to experience this place for ourselves. It was a Saturday afternoon after regular lunch time. There was only 1 worker who waited tables, took care of takeout orders, served food, and ran the cash register. The bbq was tender but fell flat on taste and had chunks of fat in it. The tea was terrible so my wife drank water. If you want some great Barbeque, go to Brushy Mountain Restaurant in Wilkesboro, NC or Little Richards Barbeque in Yadkinville,NC.

We enjoy breweries as a rule, but this one was severely disappointing Tried samples of several of their beers, didn't like any of them. Service was incredibly slow and server was not interested in taking care of the customer at all. Best part of the place was their logo; if only their beer lived up to it!

First of all let me say Sixty Seven Pizza has the best salad ever. Salad, Pizza, Spaghetti and Garlic Bread are included in the buffet price. Their pizza is okay and they will fix you any kind you request. It is always very clean and the people at the checkout are always very friendly. We live about 40 minutes away but make at least two trips a month here.

What a special little bistro right in the center of Elkin. The Chicken Salad was wonderful. We also tried the Cornbread Salad that was a taste treat everyone must try. The cookies are also yummy. Can't wait to visit again.

We both like fish and seafood and visit "fish camps" and seafood restaurants frequently. Many are mediocre at best. Pirate's Landing is a step above most. Wife ordered the Fried Catfish filet (8.50), Husband a 2-combo platter--flounder and oysters-- (9.50), both off the senior menu. First of all, even off the senior menu, the servings were large. All the fish and seafood were cooked well, and tasty, although wife thought the catfish could have been seasoned more. Sadly, the sides were not great, ion fact the cole slaw was blah. Drinks at $2 were reasonable. Service was good, though wait time for meal was a bit long. Inside ambiance delightful.Total bill was $23.

What a great surprise to find this gem. Their big burgers are cooked to perfection and in true NC style come with slaw if you ask. Everyone on staff were extremely helpful and prompt. Thankful that there are a few of these places left in the US.Iâll be back!

A place that brings brings yesteryear with awesome merchandise and great food. A one stop shop! Service was most undiserable. Have visited many Cracker Barrel locations and this one didn't score on service. The wait time for seating was quick but soon after it went down hill. Sat at the table waiting I finally walked over to the hostess and asked if anyone was servicing our table. She was pleasant in asking what we wanted to drink, walked to the kitchen and our server came out to finally greet us. We then placed our order and once again waited 20 minutes for the food to come out. Our food was all overly done. The eggs appeared slightly rubberish when I asked for over easy. The sausage was very "hockey puck" and the hamburger steak was supposed to be medium was very dry, hard and over done. This was a first for us at any Cracker Barrel. Have always enjoyed the food, service, and merchandise but this location truly missed the mark. Both the cashier and hostess get a perfect score as they were very friendly and helpful!

We had a very unique dining experience tonight in Jonesville. The wife and I decided to try the place across from the old Pepsi plant called Generations. We went in, were seated and ordered drinks. Her Mt. Dew arrived and was undrinkable. Tasted like overly carbonated diet Dew. She motioned the server over, sent it back for a replacement and the server brought her another one out of the very same tap expecting it to taste different. After also sending this one back a second server tasted of it and her facial expression said she also thought it tasted bad. The first server didnât bother to return to the table. The second server finally brought my wife a Pepsi which wasnât much better. The actions of the first server didnât sit well with my wife and she decided we would cancel the order, pay for 2 drinks and leave. When we approached the cashier she didnât know what to do and the âManager/ownerâ came out of the back and aggressively wanted to know what the problem was. We told him and he stepped over, tasted the drinks and returned saying there was nothing wrong with them. At this point, I told him were canceling the order, paying for the 2 drinks and leaving. He said rather loudly that we couldnât do that because the food was almost prepared and we had to pay for it anyway. At this point I said âNo we donât, and now weâre not paying for the 2 drinks which we couldnât drink!â As we turned to go, he shouted for us to get off the premises and never come back!â The wife turned and said âDonât worry, we will never be here again!â At this point the butt-head came outside and got in our faces while continuing to shout at us saying he was going to call the cops, I told him âGo ahead, I donât give a da*n!â After a few more unpleasantries from both sides, I actually said I would go back in and pay for the crap. Well he took exception to me saying it was crap and we wound up toe-to-toe, cap brim to cap brim with a lot of high volume explicatives coming out. It actually got to the point where I dared him to touch me and even though I was 65, I still didnât sweat punks like him!!! At that point the wife got between us and we decided to get in the car and leave, with him still running his mouth. All this happened right in front of the front door!!!! It was crazy!!! Needless to say we wonât even think about that place again.

Sunday Brunch. Atmosphere - good as long as you're not sitting by the windows in front. Lots of street noise. Service - Average but poorly managed. Servers are assigned tables both inside and outside and are run ragged all over the front of the house. Food - call this place chicken on main. Grits were chicken flavored, biscuits and gravy came with chicken gravy, pancake was cooked on the same grill as heaven only knows what and ours came with bits of food detritus and, as a bonus, was under cooked. Presentation - abysmal. Our omelettes looked like they were turned with a pitch fork and came out cold. Pace of the meal - s l o o o o o o w.I apologize for taking a while to respond to this review. I somehow missed the notification! Anyway, I am sorry to hear that you did not enjoy your visit. Since this was 4 weeks ago I do not know if we took care of your meal. I would be happy to send a gift certificate. I do understand that you will most likely not return. However, we would love to have another opportunity to give you a better meal. I cannot say exactly what happened, but I feel that this must have been a bad moment for us and not a regular occurrence. Thank you for the feedback!
