I had the roast beef. We stopped to use the restroom which was clean. The staff working was very nice. It is just another chain restaurant but away from the busy metro area in which I live, so it was a nice change of pace.

Small nice little diner. Throw back to an older time. Good service. Good breakfast food. Good coffee. Go here for breakfast or lunch, you will feel you got your money's worth.

Full service mid scale casual Large menu with daily specials. Full bar and beer and wine list. All homemade food including homemade desserts & real gelato
This once was Savarino's Restaurant but changed it's name, layout, staff and menu after a change in ownership. I have to say that the menu is too ambitious for the kitchen which can't produce high-quality dishes across the board. They often have Bluegill which is not a fish I've ever seen in a fishmonger's market or grocery store. Someone there must have a farm pond with pan-fish. I have eaten here a dozen or so times and have never had a meal beyond average quality. Each time I try something else. The waitstaff is very friendly and a lot of locals are regular diners here. However if you are in Hillsdale on business you might consider going up the road to Jonesville which has better restaurants.

We had dinner on Sunday, and their swiss steak was so tender and delicious, I can't wait to come back for this (only offered on Sunday). Their peppermint ice cream with hot fudge & whipped cream was yummy too!
Jonesville has two. One at WalMart and one on the corner of 12 and 99. Walmart is a scene of staff arguments, and poor service while 12 and 99 gets by with very small portions. Portion control Hell!

In search of lunch on a rainy October day we found this wonderful little restaurant housed in a late 19th century farmhouse. The ambiance was quaint, pleasant, and friendly. The food was very good, traditional but with a twist or two. The staff was professional but friendly, quick to smile. Overall, I was quite impressed and will add this restaurant to the list of favorites.

My eggs over easy were over mostly hard and cold. Spouse's were cold as was his dry hash browns. The sausage tasted good and was the only thing warm on his plate. Didn't send back to the kitchen because several people had come in and we didn't want to wait around for a warmer breakfast. This must have been a fluke as we have been here for other meals and they were pretty good.

I stayed at a bad motel so my view of Jonesville wasn't the best, that was until I was pointed towards Olivias. The food was fantastic and the staff was very inviting. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone staying in the area and if I am ever that way again, this will be my only consideration for dinner. If you like tuna, Try their Ahi. It's wonderful!

We were staying with our children and grandkids at a local lakehouse and thought we would journey into Jonesville for dinner. Our children recommended this place and we were very pleased. Our group had six grandchildren and even the kid's meals were a generous portion. The adult plates were just as large and the food was quite tasty. Our waitress was great with the young children and made them feel welcome as well. Plan to be back the next time we are in the area.
