This is a great restaurant. The staff was very friendly. I had the pork sandwich and potato salad it was so very good. I didnât care for the coleslaw. But the bbq was so good my son had the beef brisket sandwich and really liked it. I guess it is known for its BBQ. I would recommend this place to anyone. It is busy but worth the wait.

Great food, great service, right on the golf course. We had stayed in the hotel, and attended a concert and then headed over for breakfast. Nice menu selections. Reasonable prices
I went to the Subway by the Ralphs Market in Rancho San Diego at 2650 Jamacha Rd. tonight and had a very good experience. Malloreigh came out and was very nice as she answered all of my questions about the different types, and styles of sub sandwiches. I finally decided to try the Italian BMT which comes with Ham, Salami, Pepperoni, Cheese and your choice of all kinds of other condiments. I went with Lettuce, Tomatoes, Pickles, Onions, with Sriracha Mayo sauce, mayonnaise, oil and vinegar. Malloreigh did a great job of putting the sandwich ingredients together on a Jalapeno and cheese bun. I will definitely be back to this Subway Sandwich restaurant.

East County San Diego's premier seafood restaurant offering a vast array of fresh catches. Nestled over a large private pond, Anthony's has a setting and ambiance like no other in the area. Anthony's has been voted best seafood, best ambiance, best outdoo
The magnificence of the undersea world of Anthony's Fish Grotto cannot be overstated! I have the happiest memories here! For stunning architecture, charming atmosphere, delicious food and gracious service, Anthony's is simply the best.Scroll to see Anthony's 1959 menu and read about Mama Ghio: "An uncommon early menu from Anthony's Fish Grotto, with b/w photographic vignettes of Catherine "Mama" Ghio, her two sons, Anthony and Tod, and her son-in-law, Roy Weber to the front. Catherine opened the restaurant in 1946, when she was in her fifties and a widowed mother of three. It soon became a landmark of the city's cuisine, opening several other locations and moving to its most well-known location on waterfront in the 1960s. After over 70 years of business, the San Diego restaurant closed in 2017 when its lease with the city expired." The La Mesa location survives. Menu courtesy abaa.org.Dear Adrienne: Thank you for the kind words and the retelling of the Anthonyâs history. Our remaining La mesa location is truly a gem; an oasis in East County. The pond, the ducks, the dog friendly dining, the serene patio and lush landscaping create a relaxed and rejuvenating atmosphere. And of course one of the cities largest selections of fresh seafood and Mama Ghioâs original recipes keep guest coming back for over 73 years. Thank you again for the kind words; I canât wait to share them with our wonderful staff.Regards, Craig Ghio

My wife and I went to Applebee's in the Rancho San Diego area today to enjoy their Happy Hour. Emily a server brought us our menus. We have had Emily before at Applebee's and she has such a great personality and is an excellent server. We try to ask for Emily every time we go to Applebee's because she is so professional and good. We sat in the Bar Area today because of Happy Hour, and enjoyed Christina who is Applebee's Best Bartender. Christina's pleasant and humorous personality makes your visit to the Applebee's Bar area a real treat. She is AWESOME ! My wife and I enjoyed a Long Island Ice Tea, and a Long Beach Ice Tea for our drinks, which were very good. For food, we tried the Chicken Wonton Taco's and the Boneless Chicken Wings which 1/2 off the regular price and were both very good and tasty. The Happy Hour from 3:00 to 6:00pm is a great way to end your day in a relaxing atmosphere. Check out Applebee's Happy Hour, you will not be disappointed, especially if Christina is the Bartender !

As one of the premier family owned local restaurants in the Rancho San Diego area. Nicky Rottens Bar & Burger Joint is where you want to be for the best burgers and sports games in town. Using the highest quality ingredients and fresh organic vegetables,
We took a friend to lunch yesterday at Nicki Rottens. There were not many people there, our waiter was very attentive. He got our drinks and took our food order quickly and efficiently!! Then the wait began..Remember there were only a few people there and our order was not complicated. A burger, a salad and a wrap. None of those should have taken sooooo long. It was at least 1/2 hour before our order came up. The food was wonderful, prepared just the way we asked for it and our waiter was extremely nice. I would have given this place a 5 star rating except for the long wait and this has been pretty typical. We have been in there many time and it is the same story every time, we have to wait forever for our food. We like this place very much, so we put up with the wait, but we are not all that happy about it!
Family outing ran over time and we had a few âhangryâ people. Just drove into the strip looking to see what there was and stumbled on Happy Time. Restaurant is clean and well decorated. The employees were friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. They had a live guitarist and flutist playing and singing. Lots of food choices with plenty of options. Prices were good. When the food came is was DELICIOUS!!! Hot, nice portions, perfectly seasoned. Then they brought us fresh made flatbread and tatziki sauce we didnât even order. We rolled out fat and happy and will for sure go again!! Wish it was closer to my house. The only thing they were missing was beer! Keep up the good work!!

We had a great casual dinner of burgers and beers. Iâd strongly recommend it if you are looking for something similar. This is a casual restaurant with a bar attached that includes a wide variety of craft beers including a good mix of IPAs.We had the burgers, salads and onion petals (battered and fried fingers). Juicy, delicious and very filling. Beth's salad was recommended by locals as huge and delicious. They also have chicken and beef burgers as well as a reasonable variety of salad options. Sides included fries and tater tots. The service staff was friendly and attentive. While it isn't a sports bar, there are plenty of tv screens if you want to watch sports. There is also an adjoining table space that includes a couple of video games. The pricing was similar to sit down burger places.
