Located South of Town Square. The Bird provides one of the most fantastic views in the greater Teton Valley, with panoramic mountain vistas offering a brilliant sunset. A favorite watering hole of local legend Colonel Angus, it is a neighborhood pub atmos

We were in Jackson WY at the conclusion of a trip to National Parks in Montana and Wyoming. We weren't extremely hungry, so wanted several small bites to share.Ordered the Crispy Brussels Sprouts and the Steamed Pork Buns. Both were phenomenal. Then we each had a salad. Husband had Wyoming Caesar with grilled Salmon, I had the Grilled Spinach Salad with Grilled chicken. Both were outstanding.Beer/Wine selection is excellent, service and cleanliness excellent. Friendly place to stop, so glad we did. Highly recommend.Sounds like we hit it on all levels. Glad you came in and thanks for the great review.Cheers,Graeme

We were anxious to try this highly recommended restaurant and it lived up to the hype, Many selections to chose from. The food we ordered was seasoned perfectly and the meat was very tender. Portions were plentiful enough to take leftovers home. We highly recommend this restaurant.

Very accommodating during a busy night - thank you hostesses! They were able to squeeze 2 more people in to our reservation without complaint. The food here is spectacular! I mean, lick the plate clean type of good. One of the diners with us is a regular and he did comment that the half chicken is being served differently now (without the balsamic reduction base). Nice service. A little loud when packed, but great atmosphere.

The Virginian offers a good hearty breakfast menu. The menu has all of the basics youâd expect: omelettes, oatmeal, pancakes, etc. Very much your standard breakfast fare. The main dining space is large, bright and open. I understand they also have a large banquet room as I overheard they were expecting a group of 40. The food was delivered amazingly fast which was great as we needed to get on the road. Theyâre only open for breakfast and lunch, and the staff were friendly and efficient. You canât go wrong here if youâre looking for an easy casual meal.

WE WILL BE CLOSED THROUGH NOV 21 FOR THE OFF SEASON. WE WILL BE OPEN AGAIN NOV 22. Wood-fired, thin crust pizza using the best available, organic where possible, locally/regionally sourced ingredients served in a former single screen movie theater.
While visiting Yellowstone, we ate here twice...so good. Fun to watch chefs in the completely open kitchen preparing the pizzas. Also fascinating was the historic theater setting. The service was friendly and all our food choices tasty. Recommendation: Save room for the brownie and ice cream (locally made) dessert.

Our group of four topped in on a Monday, early evening for dinner. It is located pretty close to the town square by many other restaurants and shops. We were seated right away although service throughout our experience was a little slow. The restaurant was clean with table seating.I had the Nooner burger which had egg, hash brown, bacon, and ham. My wife had the Shroom which had a big onion ring on it. Both were excellent. We saw the size of an order of fries at a table beside us, so knew to order just one to split between us. Sides were extra. Prices were reasonable ($11 and $12 burgers.)Would definitely eat here again.

The Blue Lion was built as a residential home in the late 1930's, in 1974 it became The Tourist Trap restaurant and then in 1976 The Blue Lion. I bought it in 1978 after graduating college. The Blue Lion has evolved a lot since the early days. We continue
Really enjoyed the beef soup and stuffed mushrooms. The elk tenderloin was perfectly prepared. Salads with house made dressing and bread were also very good. Excellent service, and nice, unique and quiet environment. (Found it funny that some folks rated it poorly due to not-kid-friendly. Why would you bring a toddler to this restaurant?)

Perfectly prepared Hallibut, uniquely presented salad, special desert and enjoyed with my wife of 15 years just great! Service is a hallmark of this intimate and well decorated restaurant. Located in a local hotel off the main streets this spot is worth the wait for a reservation (make it well in advance) and is the highest quality we have encountered in over 26 years of visiting Jackson. Wine list is surprisingly wide ranging but pricey.

Inspired by bakeries in France and beyond, Persephone Bakery and Café remains rooted in Wyoming, a local orientation expressed in our breakfast and lunch menus' focus on fresh, seasonal ingredients. The cafe carries a core collection of classic artisanal
This was recommended to me by 2 sweet girls at my hotel. It is so, so good! I just got a chocolate croissant (which was so delicious) and a coffee. I shared my table with some men who were eating the breakfast sandwichesâwhich looked amazing. This place is small and it gets crowded, but I can understand why. I will be back!!
