We stopped for dinner on our way north on Rte 93. I particularly chose Applebee's because I wanted my favorite salad ~ the Fiesta Chicken Chopped Salad. I have had this salad at many Applebee's restaurants and have had mixed experiences. I'm happy to note that the salad at the Hooksett, NH location was perfect. Plenty of chicken, lots of greens, the dressing was perfectly spicy and served on the side as asked, but best of all it was chopped to perfection (as opposed to just cut and left with large pieces) and a generous amount of black bean corn salsa (several other locations skimp on the salsa). My husband ordered the Southwestern Steak Salad and was pleased with it. Good amount of steak with crisp greens and veggies. Our server, Arielle, was attentive and cheerful and suggested that I try the Strawberry Lemonade when I asked about lemonade. It was very good.
Aimed toward the out doorsman and woman. On the run or, sit in.
Had breakfast on Sunday morning. Nice place, nice atmosphere; clean, open, and inviting. Simple but complete menu. I ordered a Copper jacket skillet, and my wife ordered an omelette. Turns out that the food was chef quality delicious and the coffee was great. The portions are sized so that it's probably not possible to leave hungry. The problem is that the only interaction that I had with the waitress was when she took my order, dropped the food off, and dropped the check off. The place wasn't really packed, and she wasn't over-worked. She just didn't seem particularly interested in whether I needed more, coffee, or any toast, water, etc. My wife noticed that subsequent customers had the specials explained to them and were was asked if they wanted toast, juice, water, etc. The extent of my conversation was, "You ready to order yet?" Then a mumbled response when I asked for the skillet. She asked if we needed anything else when she set the food down and then ignored us until it was time to drop the check off. Fairly disappointing result for a place that seemed to nail everything else.

If you want something italian, may as well stay home and cook it yourself. Please do not go to Sorbellos Pasta Express. Shame on you.

Tapas is what this restaurant is supposed to be. Itâs literally in the name. The name is where the association stops.Tapas are supposed to be small, shareable plates, at a lower cost. This place has what they call a tapas menu but they are neither small nor lower cost. This was the first time we were here. We just moved to town and we decided to try a place in town. We walked in and were told to sit wherever. It took maybe ten minutes for someone to come over, and then another 5 minutes for our actual server to come over. We both ordered drinks, and a lobster Rangoon appetizer. My rum punch was basically all sugar and no rum. My second drink a gin drink, was the same. The appetizer was a lobster Rangoon âtapaâ from the tapas menu, but it was $14. I thought maybe it was because lobster is expensive. When it came, there really wasnât any lobster in it. It also came extremely quickly, which makes me think it was frozen. My husband ordered a Mac and cheese with brisket. The server told us she wasnât sure if they could do that, but if she didnât come back we would be all set. She didnât come back. When the Mac and cheese came, it was actually slicked steak. Also, we paid $9 for sliced steak and I counted maybe 5 tiny, thin slices of steak. He sent it back, which we never do. I ordered a duck special which was good, except that the mashed potatoes were definitely from a box. It was $29. $29 for instant mashed potatoes and 5 springs of asparagus! The kicker is that when we sent the Mac and cheese back the server said that if the manager had a question she would be over to talk. I have never managed a restaurant, but I am sure that if I did, I would always come over to a table if a dish were sent back. It was clear that she just didnât care. We will never be back. We tried it this one time, and wonât ever be back again.

There's not much to say about pizza, really. But, it's not often that my bf and I find a pizza place that we both agree that we like (In fact, I don't think it's ever happened before). And, we both really like Pizza Man.I've also had their cauliflower crust pizza, which they do a great job with! And, their Steak Bomb is loaded (and includes salami as every bomb should!) and they're generous with the meat. When neither of us feel like cooking, this is typically our "go to" place. They have a pretty good menu that goes beyond just pizza and subs. They do online ordering, and they deliver. I can't comment on any in-restaurant questions, because the only time we went to eat at location rather than doing delivery, they were closed. - They are not open on Mondays.

Truly a Manchester iconic eatery for many years and was always the "Go Too" venue in town for consistent comfort food BUT, as many generational restaurants seem to become, they have taken for granted their regulars, who are many elderly residents, and neglected the quality of both product and preparation in recent years, resulting in diners of habit rather than quality. I have been less impressed with each visit over the last couple years. Fried clams freshly fried but rubbery, overcooked scallops, tough lamb and a decling quality of their famous chicken tenders. Yesterday we went with friends and my wife and friend split tenders and a salad - the tenders were dry. My friend had the shepard's pie special and it was dry and I had a half & half fish chowder which looked and tasted like it was a "clean-out-the fridge" concoction, basically inedible, and the chicken salad sandwich half was average. Everyone agreed that the only plus of the meal was the french fries and the service. There are way too many finer eateries in the area to take their clientele and reputation for granted. We will never be back, and we live just a mile away, unless it's for a funeral reception.

Robie's Country Store has long been the premier, must-visit stop along the campaign trail during Presidential and local elections in New Hampshire. Listed in the NH and National Register of Historic Places, Robie's has served locals, river traffic, mill w
The place was really cool with all k8nds of different antique decor and old political signs etc. Apparently its a stop on the campaign trail. People were extremely friendly, food was delicious and the piece of blueberry apple cobbler I had was huge and really good. Decent prices too. They are open for breakfast and lunch. Oh and the soup was great. No big entrees but lots of good sandwiches, soups, salads, desserts and of course everything breakfast.

The Tap House offers a new take on the classic American Grille. Our farm-to-table philosophy drove us to find locally-grown ingredients for our meals and locally-brewed beers to put through our taps. When you enter the Tap House, you'll find a pub-style a
We stopped for supper at this grille while driving to another destination. Although the restuarant was completely full, we were quickly seated and approached by the wait staff for our drink order. After our order was placed we were did not have to wait very long for our food to be served, which was important as we were in the process of traveling and wanted to get back on the road. The food and drink selection was great. Great place to stop for a meal.Hi Chuck,Thank you for stopping in to see us. We are thrilled to hear of your great experience. Yes! our servers are pretty darn good and always have the guest interest at heart. Safe travels. Come back and see us again soon.

Enjoyable each time Iâve gone. Tried a bunch of different items. I am a big fan of hash browns, they do them well. Eggs are local and fresh. Sometimes the service is spotty, Iâve had to wait waaay to long for my coffee cup to be filled, or get my check. The the food is worth it.
