I really haven't cared for Cracker Barrel restaurants in general. There is usually a long wait, slow service and average food, but yesterday was Father's day and also my son's anniversary and he likes Cracker Barrel. We wanted to get together to celebrate The aniverrsary and Father's day. I decided, as a special treat to him, to suggest Cracker Barrel. We took the 40 mile drive from our house and met our son and family there. The Southern fried chicken has been advertised a lot so I decided to try it since I am a fried chicken lover. We met them at five O'Clock and were seated right away. The restaurant was clean and the server was attentive, they weren't very busy. I ordered the Southern fried chicken dinner. I deem myself somewhat of a fried chicken afficionado and the chicken was excellent. The coating was perfectly crunchy and the inside was moist and juicy. My wife ordered the chicken and dumplings and that was the usual tasteless fare that I normally expect from Cracker Barrrel, but kudos to them for the fried chicken. I rate the chicken 9.5 on a 10 point scale and we will be back.

On a drive, from Fort Lauderdale, I needed to eat. We saw the sign and went in. Initially disappointed as no alcohol was served. This was soon forgotten when we had the food. I had fried catfish and my husband had fish fingers, but not like we know them in the U.K. Really top class and worthy of any top restaurant who would charge twice as much. Good service, instant coca cola refill. We had to finish with key lime pie. I definitely overate. Out of the way but a good find. A little treasure.

This was our first visit to a Texas Roadhouse and although we were hopeful that we would have a good experience, we were not too sure what to expect. Pleased to say we had a fantastic time. From the moment we were shown to our table our server Vanessa looked after us superbly. She was super helpful and attentive and we both really appreciated that. My wife had the sirloin steak and I had the sirloin and back ribs. We resisted the fries and had baked potatoes instead and both meals were top drawer the meat was superbly cooked and über tasty and tender. We couldnât manage to finish our mains as we wanted to leave room for some ice cream and that finished off our meals nicely. The restaurant had a great energy and buzz and that complimented the food really well. We had a great experience and this may have been our first visit to a Texas Roadhouse, but if our experience is the norm we will definitely be back.

We ate here our first evening in FL and I would definitely return. The staff was friendly and funny, the food was great (huge portions), and the atmosphere was my favorite!

We love this place. It is your local diner with great food that tastes awesome. The staff is excellent and very friendly. My favorite breakfast food is blueberry pancakes or oatmeal. For lunch I'd suggest their wraps and salads. We don't eat desert but it sure looks temping.

Sonny's BBQ of Florida City. Southern BBQ at its finest. Slow-smoking favorites like pulled pork, ribs, brisket since 1968.
Greeted with free horsdouvres. They were tasty. Dinner was fresh and hot. Service was good. When we were leaving, we each got to spin the wheel for a small prize. We were then all given a cupcake.

Stopped by this little roadside grill for grilled gator. They were a little overwhelmed with orders when we arrived, so we had to wait a few minutes to order. I got the grilled gator basket . The gator was grilled nicely, a little chewy, but delicious. The fries were great too. I wish they gave a little more gator meat for the price. Overall I am glad we stopped, because the food we did get was really tasty.

We came here after attending the NASCAR Championship race and were shocked that we were able to get seated right away. Service was good, I had them sing to my son for his 15th birthday and they gave him a small sundae treat. Just at the end it seemed to take forever to get the check and pay it so we could leave. Otherwise, a normal visit at a familiar chain restaurant but our first time at this location.

Shiver's BBQ is a family-owned and operated restaurant in Homestead, Fl. It has been serving authentic hickory smoked barbecue for over 50 years! Family generations have grown up eating here. Shiver's specializes in slow smoked meats such as baby back rib
Iâve been avoiding Chain barbecue places for a while now and I always like to try and support the local folks. I really enjoyed the barbecue. While usually Iâm not a fan of vinegar-based sauces this one really stepped up to the plate and flavor and thickness. Iâm glad I stopped and will come by again to try the ribs. This visit I got the two meat special, brisket and dark meat chicken. Sides were pretty tasty as well.

My wife and I just had dinner here. The burgers, truffle fries and mofongo were excellent. They also have a good selection of Florida craft beers.Service was slow and below average. There were two waitresses waiting on 3 tables and they couldnât keep up. Also, it was surprisingly chaotic and loud for a place that was less than half full. I would hate to eat here when itâs crowded.
