The food is very good, the service amiable. But it always feels like you're not part of the crowd. A bit haughty - cheese spread is 9.00 for a very small amount. Sandwiches quite high in price. I'd rather sit down at a restaurant and get served for this type food. Nothing warm and friendly.

I'll be honest, I haven't visited Two Stones in over a year. Previous visits were awful, terrible food and service, swore I'd Never return. Yesterday I decided to give it one last chance. This place is a craft beer lover's type place, so the way I looked at it, I could at least have a nice beer or two with my hubby.I did check out the menu and it had changed, many more selections then before and several things I wanted to try.I ordered the fish tacos, and was pleasantly surprised, they were delicious!!! I did ask for no jalapenos, which unfortunately there were two small chunks in one taco. It was disappointing but since the taco was so good, I am not going to make a huge deal of it. 16ozs of water later, my weak pallet recovered. Two stones is redeemed, I will definitely return!

Stood at the bar with my girlfriend for 10 minutes while the female bartender gabbed with a friend at the bar, finally turns and asks if weâre âreally togetherâ. No bueno. Okura, Luigiâs and Puebla are better and more welcoming. Do yourself a favor and Put in an order at one of the other three restaurants, then have a craft beer and a shot with Ace at Throwbacks whole you wait, and take a pass on this place.

Quinns is a small cafe open for lunch and dinner. Locked in the Shoppes of Hockessin. Good choices for breakfast and lunch. Prepared quickly and served by friendly people, who, after you have been a few times, will "know your name". The owner, John Quinn is there most of the time behind the counter thing care of business. Your coffee cup will never be empty at Quinns. Sometime on weekend mornings there is a little line for a table. The wait is worth it.

Where to start?Freezing cold even though we were in the back-most tables were wearing their coats. Coffee served lukewarm. At a COFFEE house. Also not a very good roast, was really looking to trying it too. Coffee was cold by the time breakfast came and when I asked for it to be warmed up they topped it off with more lukewarm coffee. Terrible service, we ended up sitting there 15 minutes before we were even acknowledged and then breakfast came out after people who were seated well after us. Food was so-so, hard to mess up eggs. The turkey sausage is gross, tasted like turkey burger with a ton of spices and herbs added. No semblance to being sausage. Still canât get over the coffee though. Have had better and hotter just about anywhere else.

Quick summary: dinner has a variety of sandwiches. burgers, steaks, and other mains. Reasonable prices for the quality. Friendly, professional service. We were visiting friends and we went to this place, one of their favorites in the area. Most in our group ordered steaks (mostly in the low $30's, with choice of potato) that they all enjoyed. My excellent grilled scallops ($$29) came with a corn cream sauce, tiny bits of grilled asparagus (the menu seems a little misleading here - the menu sounded like more veg would be on the plate) and bacon-basil pesto - the chef is talented. Other sides can be substituted for the potato (e.g. mac & cheese) for a $2.50 upcharge. Good bread on the table. We split salads to start, which are a good size to split. Most mains are in the high-$20s, with steaks in the low $30s. Burgers are $12 - 15.Full bar. Most wines by the glass in the $10-$13 range for a good pour. Friendly, professional service.Clubby, steakhouse atmosphere. So, I'm sure we'd be regulars here if we lived closer - another reason to visit our friends.

We enjoyed a good meal in the fireplace room . I had a grilled cheese and tomato sandwich , the hubby had the roasted veggie burger. We both had delicious stuffed mushrooms and the house salad. Service was excellent.

We enjoyed dinner at George & Sons. Many options to choose from; nice wine list. Pros: -We had a dozen oysters, Shuckers Choice. The selection was varied and very nice. The shucker served them and was friendly and gave a nice explanation of the selection.-Lobster Roll was fabulous.-Fish and Chips were very, very good.-Service was friendly and very pleasant.Cons:-The young woman who greeted and seated us (Iâm using the word âgreetedâ loosely since there was nothing friendly about her at all) seemed like sheâd rather have been anywhere other than working. No smile, not pleasant, gruff. As she seated us, she told us itâs cash only for tips. Kind of an odd way to start your dining experience. Especially delivered with no smile and rather coldly. Wasnât in line with the pleasant attitude of everyone else working there. The difference between and 4 and 5 star rating is courteousness of employees. Food was definitely a 5.

When I want something yummy and don't want to cook, Lettie's is the place to go. Great broasted chicken, nightly specials, desserts, and sides-just a few favorites: scalloped corn, Mac and cheese, meatloaf, soups, salads, key lime pie. I am making myself hungry!

Was here on 2 separate occasions once for lunch and other for dinner. Attentive & knowledgeable wait staff. Delicious food with a beautiful presentation. Crafted cocktails were well-balanced. Atmosphere of remodeled old home was pleasant, open and uncluttered. Could get noisy when crowded due to all the hard surfaces. Will definitely visit again.
