The restaurant is nicely decorated in a up-scale style, reminicent of the art deco 1920's era. The chairs were comfortable and the bar room seemed inviting. Everything was clean. They could use shades on the upper windows. People facing the windows had to deal with the sun in their eyes.I ordered a Derby Mule ($15) which tasted like a whiskey sour, but came in one of the frosted copper mugs I love. The others shared a bottle of wine which was too dry for their taste and then another blend which was better. My entree was a small Waldorf salad topped with 3-4 tasty grilled shrimp (about $20). Quite satisfactory. The crusty bread and butter were good too.My husband said his steak was very good, but I was amazed at the tiny piece of meat for about $29-$39. The poor thing sat all alone in the middle of an empty white plate. No sides, no garnish. All sides, soup, and salad are priced separately. My friend allowed me a taste of her brussle sprouts which were okay, but not nearly as tasty as those I'd had in Geneva a few days earlier. My husand's huge baked potato arrived looking like a small loaf of bread. It was accompanied by cute little dishes of sour cream, cheese, and maybe butter. I was most disappointed with the desserts ($10 each). Our carrot cake was huge, but also damp and heavy. My husband and I each had a sliver and brought the rest home, only to throw it out after tasting it again the next morning. The other couple shared a huge hunk of chocolate cake and gave me a sliver to taste. It was bland and not worth the calories either. Our server was very nice. There were, however, long stretches when we didn't see him, though the restaurant was mostly empty. Over all, the experience not worth the drive and hefty bill. Our friends love the place and treated us to dinner for our anniversary. I thank them for their kindness and wonderful company, but this place was not for me.

Every fast-food franchise has its own gimmick, the item that sells the product, the thing that sets it apart from its competitors. Arby's is known for its roast beef. If you're a native Chicagoan, you know that West 95th Street and Harlem Avenue is a primary location for fast-food restaurants. So it is with Arby's at 8021 West 95th Street in southwest suburban Hickory Hills. I can't resist a Classic Roast Beef sandwich or a Classic Roast Beef 'n Cheddar sandwich with Arby's unique curly fries and Ultimate Chocolate shake or root beer or Jamocha shake or lemonade. You don't find roast beef sandwiches like this anywhere else. But the menu also includes other tasty sandwich options, including crispy fish, Reuben, loaded Italian, roast beef gyros, turkey gyros, traditional Greek gyros, grand turkey club, buttermilk crispy chicken and smokehouse brisket. It's a sandwich menu unlike any other, truly a delicious alternative from the other fast-food restaurants.
For more than 65 years Denny's has been bringing people together over great food. It's the place where people can relax and be themselves; where they can enjoy classic American comfort food and everyday value. 24 hours a day. 365 days a year. Here, you ca
Food tasted amazing.2 adults, 2 kids - I ordered the cheeseburger with a fried egg, bacon, and hash on it. It was seriously delicious. Hubby ordered a steak and he swears it was cooked better than some steakhouses we've been to lately.Kids got the kid meals - a pasta and a cheeseburger and they were good too.Everything was delicious. The service? The service was straight up bizarre. It was nearly 45 minutes between placing our order and receiving our food. We happened to be particularly hungry on this day, so we noticed the time. And then, when the order came, my youngest daughter's burger sat there in the pass through window for an additional 10 minutes. We were sitting right next to the work area, we could all see a kid sized burger sitting on a plate there. Everyone else's plate was brought....and hers just sat there. And sat there. And sat there! And there were lots of weird quirks. Hubby chose "dipping veggies" as his side for his steak....yet he had to ask twice to get some sort of ranch or something to 'dip' in. The daughter that got pasta got an extra bowl of butter for her noodles.........(?). The kids' meals were supposed to have apple juice to drink - but neither kid got their drinks. We requested them when the youngest's burger finally got delivered. We requested them again when we saw a random waitress walk by. We finally stood up and waved our arms at our server and requested them a third time....and received it that time...but unfortunately we were all done eating by then and the kids took a few sips and then we went and paid a buck each for the drinks that arrived way too late and never got drank. You know how typically you receive your food from somewhere and the server comes back to check on you and see how the food is and such? Ours fell off the face of the earth. There was one single female server there that we could see. She was (possibly??) pregnant and working her butt off. Helping her tables and just keeping busy. Our guy? I think our guy went out back and took a smoke break for an hour until we left.
Breakfast All Day

They have multiple locations, in Burr Ridge, Orland Park, South Barrington, Wheeling, Indianapolis
First time dinners at Cooper's Hawk. We had a pleasant dinner with friends on Sunday evening. Our friends are members so we enjoyed the wine options and was very pleased. Service was excellent, our server was very helpful, attentive and knowledgable about the wine offerings and menu. Our meal was a little less than what we expected. Our pasta was not fully cooked so that made the experience a little disappointing and not worth what we paid.

A friend told me about this restaurant last week so we took a couple friends and checked it out this weekend. One word: Yum! OK more words: we'll be back! Can we say jalapeño muffins? Or strawberry mint lemonade? Or beef brisket that melts in your mouth? Is yours watering yet? Go go, go!

Pretty good all in all. 1/2 price appetizers on wednesdays. Lots of comfort food. I had 3 fish tacos for 895 and it came with soup and home made chips. It was really good. The fish was tasty and the lettuce, tomato, sour cream, cheese were all super fresh. We had nachos and chicken for the appetizer and it was very good and plentiful. The rest of us had various salads and they were all well prepared, good tasting, and filling. As a sports bar, it's a bar. It's a bit noisy but young people will like that. Lots of tvs all over and gambling machines are there too. What we ordered was fairly priced but I did think many of the items were a bit overpriced..... steak sandwiches are over 20$ ... but the average dinner prices is $17 which I think is s little high for a sports bar...But there are affordable things here too so I would say it's s go Tisza fun place to go

Today we were out in Minooka going to stop for fast food. We decided that we could wait till we got closer to home so we could have Peppos and their guts... Guts make the sandwich! We miss you in Tinley but so happy your close enough to still eat at your place every other weekend. Even my picky cousin loves your sandwiches. We made a deal if she liked it and could eat the 7 inch, the next trip she could have the 11. She won the bet. I am happy she did. Thanks for serving with a smile and great sandwiches/salad.

Stopped at The Pit Rib House for supper on a Saturday night. We were seated immediately-there were only 3 of us. The service was wonderful and the food was yummy! I had never been there before but my husband had with business clients. Our young son had a kids meal-chicken tender-and he loved them and for a kids meal-there were a lot of tender. The meal came with fries. He also loved their pink lemonade. My husband had the BBQ beef platter and I had the BBPork platter. It comes with two sides which you can choose from fries, coleslaw, baked potato, corn on the cob, or pasta salad. The coleslaw was creamy and delicious. There was a LOT of meat on the platter. I asked for the BBQ sauce on the side-otherwise they pour it all over the top and that's fine if you like a lot of sauce. There are antiques hanging on the walls which our 11 year old found to be interesting. We also took a sandwich to go for our son who was at work-Tex Mex Chicken sandwich. He said it was INCREDIBLE-so delicious. We will definitely visit again.
