We took our basketball team here for dinner one night. This is your typical Zaxbyâs. However, they really accommodated our team. They typically charge for extra sauces etc, which we didnât ask for many extra maybe 3-4, and they did not charge us because they said we spent enough $ with them by bringing our team. It was clean, staff was very friendly. Would recommend this place highly.

Perfect for any occasion, Café Portofino offers lakeview dining. Our dishes, prepared with the freshest and highest-quality ingredients, include mouthwatering appetizers, delicious salads, daily soups, Italian-influenced entrées, seafood, steaks and more.
Four of us friends got together for a fun night of drinking and eating at the Cafe Portofino Bistro.. The place was lively with a singing guitarist, although my table seemed to be the only table appreciating the entertainment. Others were loudly chatting and did not acknowledge the singer at all. We felt bad for him.We ordered drinks and although they took a long time to arrive, they were good enough. We ordered a second round. Our calamari appetizer was just ok..it was not temperature hot and that is how we all like it.The eggplant parmigiana was over cooked and had an overbearing bread coating. Most of it was left on the plate. The burger was...a burger, nothing special. The balsamic glazed chicken was ok, nothing special and the fries were not temperature hot. The spaghetti and meatballs were pedestrian. Our server was very good and we treated her accordingly. We created our own fun time, but will not be back.

Initially chose this restaurant based on the reviews and it did not disappoint! I had the blackened Mahi Mahi which was cooked perfectly and excellent. Hubby had the ribeye and loved it. Nice size portions, all cooked fresh. Super nice, friendly waitress and staff. Will definitely return again!

Ate here with my wife and there was not alot of people there when we ordered. Meal took a long time to be served, and once we received out food, it was poor quality. Did not mind the wait, but was displeased with our food. We had the Fried Chicken platter.

People line up an hour before it opens, so go early. We shared the sirloin and still only ate half. It was the largest steak weâve ever seen. The wait staff was EXCELLENT. They were efficient and friendly. The salad was simple but good. The fries were hand cut and delicious. The only reason I wouldnât give it the full 5 stars is it could have been seasoned. We had heard that from several people before hand but it was still delicious.

Hawg Wild BBQ serves Northeast Georgia as a place where anyone can enjoy a unique menu that shows our LOVE of a great Southern Tradition... BBQ & Catfish!!
My wife and I stopped in for lunch today. As we were walking in, we noticed outside seating and because it is a gorgeous day, we were going to sit outside. After we got in, we just said what the heck and stayed inside...but had an excellent window booth with a great view of the lake across 76. My wife wanted soup but they did offer Brunswick Stew so she got a âcupâ serving and I joined in with a bowl. Smoked Turkey sandwich for the lady and Iâll take the Brisket sandwich...fried green tamaters with hers and O-rings with mine. Stews came out promptly and we devoured . Very tasty and hearty! Sammieâs came out just a few minutes after we finished stews. Her âcupâ was more like a small bowl and not much less than what was in my small crock!! Soooooo sheâs full from stew; didnât even take a bite of sammie. I actually managed 3 bites outa this huge beef brisket Sam. I couldnât finish but it is YUMOLA!We will return here for sure for another round to try something else! I give HW BBQ 2 thumbs up for food and service we received today.Dear Tommyboy917,Thanks for posting a Trip Advisor review for Hawg Wild BBQ and Catfish House. I'm so glad you and your wife had a great time with us. I'll be sure to share your comments with the crew. That will bring a smile to their faces. Thanks again! James Reaux

We love to go on Tuesday nights for the $6.50 Burgers and $2.00 Beers. Tuesday nights are fun because of Ukulele Night. Numerous people come with their Ukuleles and play great songs to which many of the customers join in and sing....it's a Hoot! Great Burgers at a great price too!!!! Tons of fun and lots of laughs!

We took a friend of ours there a few days back. Their fried chicken and swedish meatballs w/gravy were very good. They had about 3 or 4 meat selections, numerous vegetables to select from, nice salad bar and homemade desserts. Seniors receive a discount. Lot of food for not a lot of money. You can also order from the menu.

Great spot right on the main highway through town, the bbq is great, but the sides may be better. The mustard potato salad is very good, but the smoked potato salad is even better. The mac&cheese and cole slaw are excellent. Brisket is available on Wednesdays, don't miss that.
