While visiting Hendersonville last week and strolling on Main Street we came across Hannah Flanagan's pub. We decided to have our lunch there. We sat at a high top table in the bar area and our waitress Rosie was there to take our order in no time flat. She explained the menu and had some recommendations for us to think about. My wife had the shepards pie and I had the Pangasius fillet sandwich. It was a mild white fish and I had it blackened. It came with a choice of sides and I chose the red potatoes which were plentiful. Our lunch experience could not have been any better. This is a definite stop on our next visit to Hendersonville.

A very small restaurant that doesn't look like much, but very clean, very friendly staff, and outstanding food: fried chicken, okra, and amazing mac and cheese and collards. (I am a born again southerner and nevertheless can appreciate this fine cooking!) Prices are very reasonable and a great place to have a very satisfying meal.

This restaurant has great food and great service. My husband and I each enjoyed their breakfast special of two eggs, hash browns (or grits), sausage (or other choice of meat), and a pancake (or fresh-baked bread). Everything was tasty, and our server, Aeriel (sp?) couldnât have been nicer. No wonder this place has two large dining rooms and a parking lot filled to overflowing. I highly recommend.

Never Blue is a non-traditional tapas restaurant. The word Tapas translates to small or little bites. We offer small plates of a variety of cuisines from around the world and also offer entree portions of some items. We have an extensive list of vegetaria
We would not have picked it but soooo glad we did. We had six tapas. Dates on a stick. Duck wontons. 5cheese ravioli. Pimento cheese and chips. Fried chicken deviled eggs and friend chicken tenderloins with different sauces. The place is known for their deserts but we had no room. The service is excellent with them running things out as they were ready. Seriously each bite was amazing. There was also burgers and great salads. A full bar. So happy !!!!

Our restaurant prepares award winning barbecue meats and gourmet wood fired brick oven pizzas. With a state of the art smoker, Flat Rock Wood Room smokes pork, brisket, and chicken which are used to create our appetizing sandwiches. Our barbecue restauran
We arrived a few minutes after they had opened so it wasn't packed yet. We were seated right away and placed our order. My son's pizza came out but the rest of our order didn't come out to almost 20 minutes later. The food was delicious, our server was great but I wish we could have all eaten our meal at the same time. The couple behind us sat for over 15 minutes without anyone ever coming to take their drink order so they got up and left. The food is good though so it is worth a visit just be prepared to wait a little while.

There are so many places to rest your feet and get something good to eat after walking Hendersonville's broad, flower-filled sidewalks which are also decorated with painted bear statues and ducking in and out of fascinating shops. We lucked out when we chose West First - not only for the food but because we got there before they closed at the end of the lunch rush and before the supper hours - make sure you get there by 2:30 because they let the pizza oven die down and stop serving at 3. We are very in favor of their efforts to source local foods (including meat!) and serve organic wherever possible. We had some of the best pizzas ever - mushroom medley (5 kinds of mushrooms!) for me and meat lovers for my husband. The side salads had amazing ingredients and were very fresh. We watched sandwiches carried by and were surprised to see how generous the fillings were and how wonderful the bread looked - artisan and thick and crusty. We had a 10-minute wait because we wanted to sit in the air-conditioning but they have an outdoor seating area too.

We visited Postero for dinner on a Tuesday in late August. The restaurant was busy, but not crowded. We enjoyed sitting on the upper floor with a view into the open kitchen. The food was excellent from start to finish - salads, entrees, desserts. We particularly enjoyed the Brussels sprouts. The wine list offers a nice selection of wines by the glass. Service was top notch - friendly and informed. A shout out to Dimitri, who took good care of us...

Lovely dining room with unique art. You can view the whole kitchen from the street. There was a great piano player, I loved the ambiance! We ordered a bottle of wine that they were out of, rather than sending the server back to the table to tell us they were out & pick something else a manager came and offered a couple of other bottles that she thought we would like based on what we ordered. They all cost more than what we ordered, she gave us the one we chose at the price of what we ordered. We both got steak and they were perfect. Chocolate pie was also wonderful! This was an amazing meal. Thank you!

The manager there was extremely accommodating and set up a large section for us ahead of arrival. The wait staff was friendly and attentive throughout our visit. Our first floor BookBar offers a casual atmosphere to peruse bestsellers or a vintage classic, and cozy seating areas perfect for relaxing with friends over a glass of wine. A full coffee bar is complemented by pastries, desserts and light meal options. E
Looking for something a little more special and boy did we find it. Lovely ambiance, especially at an upstairs window table. Fabulous crispy Brussels sprouts with horseradish honey - horseradish forward melting into honey sweetness. OMG mushroom pea croquettes - crunchy crust opening to creamy béchamel loaded with veggies, atop a killer charred shallot aioli. Husband had beautifully composed salad Nicoise. This place rivals my "if I could only eat in one restaurant for the rest of my life" Copper Crown (Asheville). Not to be missed. Thanks so much for visiting us and we are so pleased that you enjoyed your meal. Please come see us again soon!
