We had heard radio commercials on 95.1FM advertising Sequoyah and decided to stop in for lunch. The decor was nicely done and better than I expected for a clubhouse-type restaurant. Our server was very friendly and provided fast service, anticipating our needs. The outdoor seating and views were spectacular with an outdoor fireplace. Our food was very good and exceeded my expectations. We'll definitely be back again soon.

We're Always Cookin' There's something about a freshly made meal, prepared just for you. Maybe it's a waffle sundae to celebrate the day you get your braces off, or a plate full of loaded hash browns after a Saturday morning soccer game. Whatever the occa
The third time there, will NEVER go again. They have 1 waitress that knows what she is doing, unfortunately we've never had her. Sat at the bar ordered our breakfast. Waited and waited about 45 min. Finally asked and the "oh no they don't have the ticket, he'll make it now" nope not waiting. This is the second time this has happened. I'll never go back. The manager and district manager both there, yet they were shot chatting and not paying attention!

We got there after the crowd left for the concert on the square. The staff made an excellent recovery and it was seamless. Craft beers are great, I visit as often as I can to try to drink my way through the menu! Love that the vegan special changes and is not in a rut.Thank you for taking the time to write this review! We are still new and love to hear that we are doing things the right way! Keep an eye out because we started offering more vegan specials along with a meat one on Friday and Saturdays. In the works are vegan lasagna and also a vegan mushroom and spinach alfredo :)

First time in Hayesville, NC and we were hungry. Found you by accident - great accident!Large restaurant with well-spaced out booths & picnic type benches. We were greeted immediately and told to take a seat anywhere, we choose a booth. Our waitress Julia took our beer orders and then came back to get our food orders. You can see into the very clean kitchen where there is a wood-fired oven for the pizza. As, I said before we were hungry, but the burger & Philly were not pre-cooked - so it was a while before we got our lunch. All was great! I had upgraded from French fries to the onion rings. The best I have ever had!Spouse was not fond of the Texana Imperial Stout 11% alcohol (He should have asked for a sample.) I had a hearty Ducktown Porter. My only suggestions is than the booth seats need a pillow. We where in town for the 10th Annual Pumpkin Chunkin'. If ever back in this area - we will definitely stop again.

We were there for a lat lunch and not too many people were there. Our waitress was super nice and gave us very good service. The friend pickles were delicious and came with a great sauce. All of burgers were cooked to order and tasted good, but they were not hot. The french fries were barely warm and soggy and the Cole Slaw had no taste. It's sad, since, like I said, there were many people in the restaurant and there was no reason for food not to be hot. I think that our food sat in the window for a while, before it came out to us. With so many choices now in Hayesville, Chevelle's need to step up their game!Thank you, Susanne, for taking time to write such a detailed and candid review. We appreciate your feedback, as it helps us continue to provide only the very best in food, service and atmosphere. We apologize that an expectation was not met on this visit. We hope that you might allow us the privilege of serving you again in the future. Thank you, Suzanne!

I had dinner with my sister and a friend at her recommendation. I had a grilled cheese panini and my sister had a burger. Service was great and the food was freshly made and tasted good. I would recommend for a good tavern-style meal.

Ordered baby back ribs, wings and pulled pork sandwich. Food was okay in taste and texture. Did not care for the sauces. Service was spotty. Place was noisy and wooden benches very uncomfortable. Overall an average experience. This is a chain with locations in 3 towns. Thanks for leaving us a review, awaywegoFlorida. This small cozy spot has been a favorite since our first visit there. Great beer, wonderful personable owners..Jody and Leesa..and although menu is small the food is always just right. If you are looking for a perfect local place in the far western mountains of North Carolina, this is it!

This was our third visit to the Copper Door for a special occasion. This restaurant is exceptional......The food, the service (Lindsey), the ambience and the cocktails will not disappoint. It is the definition of FINE DINING in the mountains. You will be greeted and seated by SMILING hostesses. You will notice the sparkling glassware, professionally clad servers, clean and welcoming dining room with warm wood tones and beautiful fireplace. Our server, Lindsey, was attentive, knowledgeable and available. My husband and I chose steak dishes-> the ribeye and filet. Both dishes were done to perfection and the vegetable side dish of asparagus/carrots was just plain delicious. We shared the bread pudding (a la mode) for dessert and it was wonderful....I would recommend making reservations......we were a bit late in making ours and had to settle for a 5 PM timeframe......The restaurant was already bustling!!!This is THE restaurant to celebrate a special occasion....I highly recommend it! Also, you get what you pay for......if you want cheap eats, this is not for you.
