We are a family style restaurant. Serving plate meals as well as burgers, hotdogs, tater tots, French fries, shakes, malts, banana splits and many other wonderful food items. Come see us! NOW OPEN YEAR ROUND!!
Folks in these parts literally count down the days 'til Daisy Queen reopens after its seasonal close (from late summer 'til early spring). Its bright atmosphere (with daisies painted on the walls), long-time Daisy Queen servers (who seem like good friends), and a simple tried & true menu keep them coming back. It's the kind of place that rekindles memories of treasured times gone by (after all, Dogpatch and the Buffalo Ntional River are just down the road); a place to connect with neighbors and meet new friends. "Regulars" know the daily specials by heart, and plan accordingly. Thursday night's special is 'chicken & dumplins'; the most popular thing going on Sundays is chicken & dressing. Better come early or risk going without those popular dishes (as happened this evening with our large church group). No worries tho, as there are other delicious choices - i.e., chicken fried steak & gravy, freshly grilled burgers & fries, pinto beans & cornbread, fresh veggies, etc. Hard to leave without some freshly baked pie or cobbler, strawberry shortcake, or a shake or ice cream cone. So sometime before Labor Day, come on down Hiway 7S toward Jasper for a delightful Daisy Queen 'down home' dining experience. Better plan on an early dinner tho - doors closed tonight at 7:30 pm. Even if you're not from around these parts, you won't be a stranger.

Fine Casual Dining, with a modern-jazzy atmosphere. Inside the historic Hotel Seville in Harrison, Arkansas.
Iâd been curious for a while about this place, and was excited to join two other couples for a dinner before the play in downtown Harrison. Iâd been inside the Hotel Seville lobby during the Christmas season, and it was so beautiful and charming, rich in period furnishings and decor. The dining room, or what I assumed was the dining venue, is surrounded by large windows, with table-clothed tables visible from outside. However, we entered the hotel lobby and headed toward this classy room, only to be redirected to a smaller dining space in the hotel bar. The bar was pretty cool, but as bars go, was loud, and the small dining area felt somewhat cramped. Folks moving in and out of the bar area, and we were seated directly across from it. Throughout our dinner, the quite tasteful music (from the Big Band Era, I think) from the overhead speakers seemed to just get continually louder - until it was blaring and impeding our conversation. As far as food goes, the âSignature Salad with Steakâ was a good lighter choice. A little to many cooked onions for me, but the steak was sliced thin, tender and cooked to perfection. My husbandâs fish ân chipsâ serving was disappointingly small, and the fish were a overcooked - so much so that the beer batter taste was absent. Our friends had burgers and French dips and seemed pretty satisfied. Server was pleasant, and our table was plenty large enough to give us more than enough space. My anticipation before trying âJPâsâ was high; unfortunately however, my actual experience was not equal. That said, I hope to try it again. I understand the dining room I love is actually used for breakfast so we may have to try it out. But I still envision that dining room as an elegant, intimate dining room space. Sure wish they would reopen it for dinner, even if only 2-3 evenings on weekends. Harrison needs such a place.

We hadn't visited in a couple of years because the service and food wasn't so great. A friend from out of town wanted to eat here so we obliged. We were pleasantly surprised! Service was superb and the food was excellent! Delicious steaks, the sides were hot and wonderful and oh, the fresh baked rolls served hot - wow! I'm glad we gave them another try because this is our new go to place for steak! I don't know when they changed things but it's great!

The breakfast we ate was great, so we decided to check out the lunch menu. We were greatly disappointed in the difference. Breakfast is freshly cooked and I highly recommend it. For lunch we had fried catfish basket, ham/beans soup, chicken strip basket and the fish/shrimp dinner. The food was very typical of frozen or canned food that is heated up and served. Very bland, tasteless, commercialized food. The catfish was inedible. The cherry pie was the only dessert that was homemade. Server did say there was one piece left. Unfortunately the crust was stale and the cherries were the typical canned and not a sweet tasting pie.We will limit our future trips to enjoy breakfast.

My son and husband recently traveled through the area for a high school band trip. This group made a breakfast stop here and raved about it! Delicious breakfast that is reasonably priced and very kind staff. My son was so excited about the cinnamon rolls that he brought one home for us to try the first weekend. Crazy good and a must stop on the way back up to Branson the following weekend. Definitely recommend!

My wife and I stopped here for a late lunch. Their full buffet is cheaper than many of their steaks. We found the salad bar full of usual salad items plus some extras like sliced tomatoes instead of the tiny ones. Their mushrooms were huge and sliced thicker than most other places. Even had several fruits in jello. They had baked chicken that was fall off the bone tender, sliced brisket and even sliced ham as meat selections. They also had fried catfish, fried chicken livers, and fried chicken also. They had many vegetables like fried corn, sweet potato casserole, green beans and many others. They even had a huge skillet of hot water cornbread to cut off a chuck of to go with your meal and yeast rolls were brought to the table when we were seated. They had several cookie selections, 2 cobblers, some bread pudding plus cheese cake squares and pecan and other pies. Great stop for late lunch!

Heading back home we stopped for breakfast in Harrison at the Ranch House Restaurant. You could tell this is the local place to eat. Large menu choice and good country food. I had the ham and cheese omlet with grits and it was good. All enjoyed their food and service was good too.

Live out of state, stopped here after it was recommended by local family. We had the 4 piece catfish platters, i had fries & potato salad. My spouse had fries & slaw. We were not disappointed. The catfish was great, the sides were great & the cold iced tea hit the spot on this hot day. Will have to go back when we are in the area again viaiting family!

Stopped by on our way to Branson again. Food and service was good. No kids menu. Double cheeseburger was huge!! Fried okra was cooked perfectly. Grilled cheese actually had lots of cheese. Didnât get a fried pie this time.

Big menu, big place, and on a Friday night, a big wait. But it was worth it. Excellent food- try the broasted fried chicken and the best mashed potatoes and gravy anywhere. Good fish, ribs, and sides. Didnât try the desserts (Iâm a diabetic and had to draw the line somewhere) but their dessert case (in full view) is Instagram worthy. Good service. This will be a regular stop for us on the way to Branson or wherever. Itâs a bargain too! Wine, beer, shakes, smoothies and coffee creations.
