The deco is definitely more funk and the cooking is Asian influenced with more of a tropical influence on the dishes. However, some dishes can be a bit of hit and miss. If your palate is up for something different, this place fit the bill. Nice selection of craft bottle beers, too.

Visited this Dennys Restaurant with my wife's cousin for lunch, the food was cooked perfectly, the waitress was very attentive, and overall the restaurant seemed to be well run. The decor of course was typical Dennys. A great place for a quick bite to eat.Would gladly eat here again.

Quite slow from time to time when you want to get your order to go NOT the drive-thru! Mostly I liked the popcorn chicken and boneless buffalo wings! It's most likely taste the same everywhere else because fast-food chains like this is very common throughout the nation.

From church my wife craved for hot soup. This is the favorite soup place of my wife. They always offer 50% off on different dishes which we ordered. And even though they offer it at a lower price, the quality, quantity and taste never changes. It still taste great. The service is fast and friendly. The place is small and clean. Only, you have to get your own condiments and serve your own water which is very visible and readily available.

A bit disappointed because this was rated number one breakfast place in Whittier and expectations were high. Had a nice 60s vibe and I think much of the restaurant original to that period or before. Great service and a very wide variety menu. Coffee was fine and hash browns were tasty. Blueberry pancakes were pretty awful though. Not fluffy and not sure where blueberries were from. Eggs Benedict just okay and I am guessing hollandaise sauce from a can. I asked about corned beef hash and found out it was canned. I wonât go here again but if you do I would stick to basics like bacon and eggs or maybe French toast. Would not expect anything fresh or clean here. Seems like a lot of other people like this place but not us.

A great breakfast menu. Had breakfast there for 19 days while working in the area. It is bright cheerful very busy. The pan cakes with fruit are see so good the scrambled eggs with vegetables and avocado excellent. Large portions and the counter staff are so nice.

The brunch time crowd was bustling in this local diner. The wait was short and we were quickly seated. The menu included a variety of breakfast and lunch options. Our server was friendly and our food seemed to come out in minutes. Typical breakfast fare although the pancakes were oddly salty! Details:-garden omelette - good. lots of veggies and fruit was fresh. It came with some mild salsa on the side. Second side of a muffin was huge and equally good.-pancakes - short stack was rubbery and salty-NY steak and eggs - thumbs up good

The Cat and Custard restaurant is a wonderful venue that has set a high standard year after year. The menu has changed a little over time but the offerings are always top notch in presentation and flavor. There are not really any nearby restaurants with same class and style. The decor is warm and relaxing, and there is a nice patio for summertime dining or simply enjoying horderves and a glass of wine.I try to bring my out of town guests to dinner at the Cat, and they always enjoy the meal and service.
