Mill Street Bar & Table is a chef driven restaurant featuring seasonal ingredients prepared thoughtfully in a relaxed yet refined environment. A Back 40 Farm Group establishment.
An inviting traditional storefront in the heart of Greenwich. The staff are super friendly, and accommodating. The wines are eclectic, and the food unique and delicious. The mussels were cooked on a smoker, and they tasted like the wood they were cooked over. Homemade pasta was a hit too, as were the deserts. Highly recommended.

Located in the heart of Greenwich on Greenwich Avenue since the 1920's. If you are looking for a great place for breakfast, brunch, lunch or dinner you will not be disappointed. This a great place to grab a quick bite and enjoy some amazing comfort food.
We dropped into Putnam Restaurant based on recommendation from a local resident. The vintage storefront is gateway to an authentic diner that features a counter, booth and sunlit dining area in the rear. Breakfast is served all day long but you can get lunch and dinner fare as well as wine by the bottle. Our server was Debbie who really rocks! She knows how to hustle and kept us well served from start to finish. We tried the Angus burger and pancakes with home fries cooked the way they should be and hardly ever ate elsewhere. Everything was delicious!!

We had a nice brunch here (maybe a little pricey compared to what we ordered but we had a good time and everything was good). We started with an amazing Pear & Endive Salad (Sky Vegetables Farm hydroponic arugula spiced pecans, manchego cheese, raspberry vinaigrette) which I would recommend if you happen to go there, followed by the Harvest Burger (grass fed all-natural beef, crispy onions, bacon, tomato mayo, grafton cheddar, everything spice fries), delicious.

Not only are the burgers (on toasted bread) very good; the onion rings are fantastic. Much better than going to more expensive made-to-order burger places. A good meal for two with a diet soda and a shake only costs $22. You can even sit outside on a bench in nice weather.

New owner, new chef.....not impressed. Greenwich can do better than this! The lobster ravioli had one piece (literally) of lobster swimming in a mound of ricotta. Great atmosphere and the staff sure tried but......felt rushed, factory-driven and the food came out in less than 3 minutes (literally). That's not usually a good sign. Will go to the local Italian hole in the wall in Port Chester next time.

Visited here a few times with friends, most times the servers were lovely, so friendly and kind, but one time we had a server who didnât care about us, the food came out wrong, over cooked the steaks we ordered so we left a couple dollars as we werenât satisfied, the manager approached us as we were leaving and asked us why we didnât leave a higher tip, told us we were rude and to not come back... I have been back since and not seen that woman... if I seen her she would get an ear full

We visited this restaurant while staying in the area. The name gives it away clearly - you may well be disappointed if you don't like meat. From beginning to end, we had an amazing experience. A great wine selection; amazing food; very generous portions, and excellent service. We'll be back if ever we're back in Greenwich.

New American Restaurant that focuses on Quality ingredients yet still very approachable with a mix of Classic as well as Innovative dishes. Large Private room and Smaller private rooms available for all typesof events.
Excellent service on a snowy weekday when there were NO other people there for lunch. Sit by the fireplace and enjoy the atmosphere! Surprisingly good Chinese dumpling appetizer. Huge and tasty Char burger with fixings -- mushrooms, cheese, onions. Lunch special combinations are very fairly priced. Plenty of parking. We'll be back soon, as an out of towner listing on business from time to time.

Had 3 different types of oysters for a total of 18 and most were flavorless and 4 still had shell in them....what happened to the Elm Street Oyster House? Used to be good for oysters and now not...server was also a bit rude on a very quiet afternoon with only two other tables. Clam chowder was good
