We visited for our first time a few days ago. I drank a delicious craft beer. I wouldn't call the beer selection vast but it was adequate. I had chicken tenders with buffalo dipping sauce. Chicken was moist and cooked to perfection. Dipping sauce was good too. My wife had some type of chicken casserole in a bread bowl. The potato chips were chewy instead of crisp but the manager dropped by and was glad to replace them with fries. I'd suggest trying this place out if you haven't already.

Sandwich Shop serving Daily Specials, Homemade Sides, Specialty Sodas, Beer and Wine. Open since 2012.
This place an ongoing seasonal menu and specials. We had one bahn mi, I had a special. For sides we had cauliflower and Brussels sprouts. Only regret, too much food. If we return we will share a sandwich and have two sides. Parking could be a problem às this is downtown. We lucked out with a close parking space and a free table.

This location continues to disappoint. As a long time fan of the Mushroom and Swiss burger, and this location being the nearest Hardee's near me, I occasionally order one through the drive-thru. Unfortunately, the sandwich that is shown in the pictures, is NOT what you actually receive. The past several trips through there, have been the same. I am attaching photos showing what the sandwich is SUPPOSED to look like, and what this location passes off as a "Mushroom and Swiss" burger. Obviously, they are skimping on the ingredients, and it basically amounts to false/misleading advertising. I have contacted Hardee's corporate office about this, and then replied with the usual "We are sorry for your experience, and we have made the location aware of your concerns". No attempt to make it right, and no acknowledgment of their false advertising. And like I said...This is not a one-time slip-up, but an ongoing practice. I cannot speak for other locations, but this one is in the habit or shorting its customers.I will post the pictures, and let the reader decide for themselves if this location is being honest, and providing a good deal to the customer. Keep in mind, this sandwich is over $4.00! For that money, I would expect a reasonable amount of topping...especially since that is what the advertisement shows.
Closed Monday but the rest of the week this is a great place to eat. Not a lot of seating but this restaurant is clean, folks are friendly and the food is good. Also, it's reasonably priced. It's in an old gas station/convenience store but don't let the outside bother you. Inside, it is worth the trek to Sawmills. Breakfast is best but other sandwiches are good too.
Wife and I were checking out homes near downtown Granite Falls and came across Fyreside while walking. Good beers - happened to be a Morgan Ridge Rail Walk Brewery sampling night. Nice! She had the quesadilla and I had the nachos -- good bar/pub fare. Quiet 'hometown' bar stool type atmosphere where most folks know each other...or feel like they do. Met the owner...will return for trivia and live music nights.

We like Captain Galley Seafood's layout and restaurant, but the hush puppies and fish is always very oily. They have the standard items but not sure how fresh the fish really is. Try it for yourself, then see what you like.

This is a diamond in the rough. During the drive we were concerned, "We couldn't get there from here!" The parking lot was full. We weren't sure where to go in. Surprise! It was a NC country experience. We had wonderfully prepared food. The musical group was terrificic! We danced Wisconsin style which turned a lot of heads! Sim's is only open Friday and Saturday evenings so plan accordingly!

Had lunch here with friends. It's a nice little restaurant with quite a large menu. I had the pulled pork "plate" with 2 sides. Very good with enough food but not too much food. The sweet tea hit the spot. Service was very good and the restaurant has a pleasant and laid back atmosphere. Parking out front convenient.

My Husband and I came here for the first time tonight. We always drive by and it's slammed packed with people. They are only open Thursday - Saturday. Really nice restaurant. Great prices. The food and sweet tea is delicious. I ordered the pulled pork sandwich with French fries. The bbq sauce is so good! There are 4 selections on the table to choose from. My Husband ordered chicken sandwich platter with the coleslaw and pickles on top of the chicken and he ate it like I was going to take it from him!! LOL. The staff is super friendly. We will definitely return.
