A group of us decided to try Tornado Brewing, which moved into Menomonee Falls in June 2015. I'm sorry we haven't been there sooner. Their set up is simple - a bar and a bunch of tables (high top and regular). Their beer list is impressive and interesting (Sea Salt Caramel Ale for example). Dennis, the owner, explained the beers don't have the "yea, I can kinda taste it" taste. It HAS the taste. One in our group tried the Sea Salt Caramel Ale and liked it. We all tried it and YES! You CAN taste it. Even if you're not a beer drinker, we were greeted to a chalkboard sign of hand-muddled Old Fashions with homemade bitters. Winner! Very smooth! But don't let this bar stop you from ordering their food. The 1/2 lb. hamburgers are HANDMADE and well-seasoned and cooked to your liking. All sandwiches and burgers can be paired with homemade chips or chive fries for an additional $1.00.The other sandwiches at our table were described as "tasty" and "delicious". Another table ordered pizzas which we need to try next time. The family (Dennis is out front with his wife, son, and other family members in the kitchen) take pride in what they've created.

Seven of us went for lunch/brunch on a Saturday at noon. The young kids in the group ordered waffles and whipped cream and smoothies. They seemed to enjoy their orders. The adults ordered skillets and burgers. I ordered a Athenean salad for $11.00.The salad was tasty and was enough. The burger looked just ok. The skillets are loaded with potatoes so they are big.My assessment is that it is clean, service is prompt, waitress was friendly and I did have enough to eat. I was there because the couple that we were with lives there. I probably wouldn't go back on my own.
The Alumni Clubâs menu is limited for now but they plan on building their menu. For now, lunch consists of a few items one of which is a grilled cheese sandwich on Texas toast with bacon and tomato - very good.Nice atmosphere. Looking forward to my next visit.

Seven friends meet annually to re-visit with grade school teacher from 60 years ago. Always arrive after noon rush hour. We take a room in the back, so we can reminisce over these long years. Sandwiches are great. Try raspberry iced tea. Try to save room for the best pies this side of Lake Michigan. Very busy place but service is way prompt.

Very old building used to be a post office, store, gas station, and now a restaurant. It's a bar and grille. Friendly place. We had very large shrimp in a shrimp cocktail, excellent, and some kind of deep fried cheese for appetizers. Be sure to ask for the German potato salad for one of your sides even if it's not Friday night, excellent, just the way my grandma used to make it. Then save some room for their drumstick ice cream, excellent, excellent! Hidden gem over there.

When we first discovered this restaurant a couple of years ago ... it was fabulous. This place has a terrible turnover issue of staff..... and an obvious training issue because service is such a failure. The service issue is something that repeats itself over and over because we keep giving this place another chance... now we're done. Additionally they now have a 20 dollar menu .... chicken parmesan is a total joke... a 2"x2" ball of fried chicken with a glob of melted cheese (I presume). Sometimes you get vegetables ... sometimes you don't. Sometimes food is hot .. sometimes it's not. The bartender ... is always a different person. If you anticipate you will have 2 drinks throughout a dinner .. better order them both at once ... waitress doesn't stop by frequently .. more interesting .. bar orders for drinks take forever. Salmon is under cooked .... ribs are good. They still have a wall in the middle of the dining room .. don't get that at all .. really dumb floor plan. We're done with this place. Apparently they don't read reviews or don't care. They don't get it. That's too bad... this was such a great place.

We are an Italian Steakhouse offering Steaks, Chops, pasta, pizza
We went to Johnny Manhattan's on Satruday for our anniversary. A beautiful place with outdoor seating if desired. We order cocktails, Escargot, Calamari, Speidini, and Cioppino. The service was fantastic. We were seated immediately. Our server was Margo and she was FABULOuS! I would recommend giving it a try. Cocktails were good but a little pricy.Escargot and Calamari - 4 Stars. Speidini - 3.5 Stars, Cioppino - 2.5 Stars. The Cioppino has a nice flavor though the seafood was very tough.

After looking online, I knew what this place was about and the vibe they would have. Pretty impersonal and industrial. Staff were very pleasant and extras like rolls and choc strawberries were a nice add-on. Creme brule was not great but mass quantity cooking, they must not have time for the brule part which is part of the name...so desserts are not what I would get again here bc cheesecake was pretty boring, too. Lobster bisque and avocado crab melts were tasty. Sandwiches in general had good flavor. Salad we ordered was ok BUt could not taste the peanut sauce at all.Location is weird and parking all funky. I hope they can get enough customers because we will be back!

I love the oriental chicken salad they make, however the Applebee's near me is disgusting & I've found the same of several others. Here we had excellent, quick service. Food was wonderful, so was the sangria!! Will definitely go back when in the area.

One of the meals ordered did not at all live up to the expectations of "having some spice". It was very bland. Apparently our waitress was relatively new because when we gave her a discount card to apply to our bill (prior to receiving the actual bill), she was unsure of what to do with it. We suggested she ask her manager and, of course, he knew exactly what to do.
