It is part of the Pascagoula Metropolitan Statistical Area. The population was 18,572 at the 2010 census. In 2002, Gautier annexed land nearly doubling its population to 18,413 by 2010, according to the Gautier Comprehensive Plan 2030.

Stopped in for a quick breakfast on our way out of town. The wait time was far too long for a fast-food chain and the order was wrong as well. May give them one more chance on next visit back home but depends on how much time I have to wait.

We ate here several times in December and January visiting family in Gautier, and were always impressed by the friendly staff and their willingness to accommodate our special requests. We even tried the salad option, which was surprisingly satisfying. There isn't much one can say about Subway, since they are so cookie-cutter in their offerings, but I have gotten addicted to the Turkey Italiano Melt sandwich.

We went here after reading reviews on line and checking out the menu. The sandwich I ordered was on the menu on their website, but apparently they no longer make it. I wound up having the grilled chicken sandwich and a bowl of soup. The sandwich was pretty good. The soup I got was cream of shrimp, the first bite greeted me with a shrimp hull. The soup was really really salty. If I hadn't taken it to go I would have returned that $7.00 cup of soup. Overall this place is an okay change of pace, but not worth the price.

We travel a lot & my husband could easily live on WH food alone, so we tend to frequent them everywhere we travel. This is by far our FAVORITE WH. I am annoying when it comes to ordering things at WH because the amount of oil & grease they cook with really upsets my stomach and they ALWAYS accommodate my requests. No eye rolls or sighs, they are understanding & kind. Aside from that, the food is the same as any other WH, no better, no worse but it's the employees that make this location our absolute favorite. Mollie, Kelli, Q & Pam are absolute sweethearts; we look forward to seeing them. James & Keith are the BEST cooks around...very talented guys. That group is a true asset to WH. Wonderful people who have truly made us feel welcome.

Delicious seafood: fried crab claws! Fried shrimp! Fresh green beans! Crab cake sandwich with remoulade sauce! Steaks topped with sweet white lump crab meat: I died and went to Heaven (the Southern part).If you find yourself on the highway along the Mississippi Gulf Coast, do stop here and have a delicious lunch or dinner. Thankfully, the owners resisted the usual decor of fake plastic crabs and fish net decor and kept it white, bright and clean. Perfect.The decoration is God's own, overlooking the water. There's an elevator, so don't let that throw you. Family friendly, great service, full bar.If you crave fried crab claws, ask the waiter for a little remoulade sauce for dipping: that's my favorite. (It comes with "cocktail" sauce.)(This is close to the site where it's said the two fishermen were abducted by a UFO and examined years ago: despite extensive investigation, it could never be disproved as a hoax.)

Enjoyed having the firehouse salad with blackened chicken and chipotle ranch dressing. My colleagues ordered red beans and rice with sausage and the blackened shrimp spinach salad. All were delicious and large servings. Each month there is a seasonal menu that accompanies there standard fare. Plenty of options to fit everyoneâs needs from vegan, vegetarian and deep fried! There is a bar area with seating and they also offer trivia nights for some fun. There is a room upstairs that can be booked for events such as Christmas parties etc. Thank you all so much for your visit! The Firehouse Salad is one of my favorites too! I haven't been here in a long time and today some friends wanted to meet up for some food and drinks. I was the first one there, walked in and no one was around. I hollered to the kitchen, waited a bit, nada...We moved on down the road. I wouldn't waste my time with this place. Wow. Will relay to Manager. Do you have a time so we can check on it. Had to have just stepped in Office, (was quick meeting yesterday), Freezer, Cooler or out on deck. Winter staffing is in force. Bartender/Waitress/Cook and a lot of On-Call. We have to staff properly for the season on the coast. We are just a Mom n Pop Restaurant. Our Motto is "Relax and Enjoy the Bayou". We mean it. No Burn'em and Turn'em at Hucks. (Not unless you have to hurry) Please come on back! It's a nice place to meet with family and friends.

Lots of tables and booths. Good menu includes a number of po-boy sandwiches, salads and entrees. Was seated right away. Served sweet tea right away in large cup. It was also refilled without even asking. Good fried shrimp po-boy came with bag of chips. Outstanding friendly service.

If you are looking for ambience or white plates with a white table cloth donât come here. If you are looking for great seafood at a great price, then this is your place! The food here couldnât be better if they tried. Southern fried seafood at its best. Plenty of food for your money. It is off the beaten path, but well worth looking for. Saw this restaurant on Cooking Channel and so glad we did. Lightly breaded, fried to perfection. Crispy out moist and not over cooked on the inside. You actually taste the seafood and it is as fresh as it gets. I donât think I will ever find a place to beat Bozoâs.
