I was just getting over the flu and my wife had recently found out she has congestive heart failure. We needed something GOOD. This was it. My wife looked online at the nutrient info and was pleased to know she could have chicken strips with honey mustard which she loves. I opted for steak and baked potato. Both were delicious.

I've tried Cracker Barrel several times for breakfast and don't know why I keep thinking they'll get better. They haven't. I ordered pancakes and bacon. The bacon was good but the pancakes were just flat and tasteless. My wife had the roast beef sandwich platter and it was very greasy. The waitress was pleasant and the service was good, but that doesn't compensate for the food. The store is so filled with merchandise that it is difficult to get to the reception desk when there is even just a small number of people waiting for a table. They need to better organize the flow of customers in and out of the store/restaurant.

Ordered a take-out on Friday night. Ask young clerk if my order was complete as I am paying. Assured that it all there. Got home, NO Potatos as ordered and the fish was so overcooked, I believe that it was refried. Sorry service. Take out should be verified by the server no matter what their job assignment is. this is the third and last time this will happen to me. They have officially lost my business due to poor server education. Call in orders and those taking them have three responsibilites; 1) answer phone and write down order, 2) hand it to kitchen, 3) verify order is correct and collect the money.

I love this place. What great fresh food. I have tried two of the sandwiches and the hotdog on the pretzel bun. There is nothing that I have had that wasn't delicious. It is a very small place and during the week can be very crowded. We usually go on the weekend. The owner is so friendly and helpful. He also told me about places that he goes when he dines out which I can't wait to try. The portions are large with just enough for a second lunch. :) Definitely worth the trip. I will be back many times.

Our approach is simple: Good food... Fine drinks... Friends & Family. These are the ingredients at Lotus. We bring them together under the same roof, and combine these elements into a memorable experience. Sound complicated? It's not. We begin with an inc
Other reviews were hit& miss...our dinner experience was excellent. Decorations for Christmas were outstanding, nice bar area size. Server was Lucy, she did a fabulous job getting food allergies attended to & making the Birthday day desert the BEST I have ever seen~candle & Happy Birthday written in chocolate on the plate! (2.25 charge)App was salt& pepper shrimp that were large & many to go around. Sushi was good, angus steak cooked great & Alfredo was great too. Good drink menu & all around excellent atmosphere. Another review mentioned tvâs , I did not see any or hear in the dining area. There is an upstairs balcony private seating area for large parties that looked very comfortable. Oh outside dining if weather is favorable, we all agreed to go back again. Gluten free desert & vegetarian items & they serve brunch as well. I guess a little high on price but thatâs how much things cost now, portion size was very good. 3 diners, 2 apps & 2 drinks about $100.

We stopped here before my son had to go to work primarily because we had a coupon. It was good although I was hoping for much better. My only major criticism was the queso which had way way way too much unnecessary STUFF in it. Queso means cheese, not peppers and hot stuff. We got put at the door leading out to the patio so each time the door opened, I got a blast of hot air and blinding sun. It could have been much better.

This place was crowded and VERY noisy. BUT the food was delicious and the wait staff was very friendly and efficient. There is a wide selection -- something for everyone. It is obviously very popular. If you are looking for a quiet, intimate dinner, this is not the place to go. All in all, it was a good meal and fun.

We are a small Independant restaurant. We focus on good quality food for a reasonable price. We have been in business since 1960. My Father started the business when he got out of the Air Force. We are always happy to let our new customers try a sample of o
My husband and I had an early dinner here before the dinner rush. Service was friendly. We started with smoked then fried wings which had a good smoke going. I wouldâve liked them cooked slightly more for added tenderness. Husband had the burger which he said was good. I had a chef salad I ordered minus ham, but with plenty smoked turkey. The turkey was good. The salad greens are just iceberg. The serving of blue cheese dressing was extremely generous. We will probably return on a Thursday night for their once a week brisket.overall, we had a good meal, but the competition in town is stiff.

Several guys have highly recommended the Kyle Fletcherâs cheeseburger to me as the best in Gaston County. I finally ate one this week, and I must disagree. Iâve eaten Kyle Fletcherâs BBQ for years, mostly on fundraising plates Iâve ordered from Boy Scouts and bands and other organizations. Iâd never eaten a burger from there because I believe you eat BBQ at BBQ restaurants. But so many told me to try the KF burger. So I did. The large burger is HUGE. I actually cut mine in half to eat it. Itâs hand-pattied meat. The veggies were fresh. The bun was fresh. But the meat, while tender, was bland. It wasnât seasoned at all, not even a little salt and pepper. It just tasted like it came out of the ground beef pack and onto the grill. And it wasnât as tender as burgers at my favorite places in Gaston County, NC. In terms of beef taste, I make a better burger at home. I canât complain about the quantity for the price. $5 wasnât much to pay for such a large sandwich. The cheese fries my wife and I shared were good, covered in real melted shredded cheddar cheese. But again, I couldâve done it better at home. All that cheese was orchestrated in a way that made the fries mostly soggy. I didnât like that. They were actually dripping with cheese grease in places, unfortunately. My wife enjoyed the bologna sandwich she got. It was also HUGE. It had great flavor. To my taste, I actually prefer bologna to not be so very thick. But it was good. Our service was excellent. Our tea cups stayed full. We were served delicious sweet hushpuppies as a complimentary appetizer. Iâd definitely eat at KF again. But Iâd stick to the BBQ, as I believe one should do at a BBQ joint. I like to take othersâ recommendations sometimes, but they donât always prove to be true, at least not to my agreement.

Nestled in a historic movie theater, Webb Custom Kitchen brings you creative local dining, craft beers, premium wines, unique potables & unmatched service located in Historic Downtown Gastonia.
In route to CLT for an overseas flight to Edinburgh, we stopped for our first visit to Webb Custom Kitchen in Gastonia. We wanted a hearty lunch that would âstick to our ribsâ and help us nod off during our long flight ⦠and allow us to skip the tasteless food that we would have been served on the plane. We split a starter plate of Duck Cigars. They were tasty, but not enough to order them again. We both selected the entrée of Braised Short Ribs over mashed potatoes with a garnish of crispy leeks. Ours bowls arrived without the garnish, but the kitchen quickly brought us some crispy onions. Lovely substitute. We also asked for a side of the seasonal vegetables. The veggies were out of this world. This was one of the most satisfying lunches we have ever eaten.Logan, was our waiter and he was incredibly helpful and attentive. We are both looking forward to our next flight out of the Charlotte Airport so we will be able to book another reservation at the historic and beautiful Webb Custom Kitchen.
