Judging by other reviews Main Street Mill appears to divide people. Unfortunately I recognise the criticisms rather than the endorsements. We came for dinner having asked hotel staff for recommendations. I'm assuming that the building was once a grain mill. it is a big space with high ceilings and totally lacks atmosphere. We were seated upstairs. I ordered a draught beer which was apparently only on tap downstairs and it was delivered with a surly "Did you order this?".Based on what we ordered the food is basic pub grub, the emphasis on battering and deep frying. I do recall my wife ordered clam strips and didn't eat a quarter of them because they were so overcooked. The restaurant occupies a unique space in historic downtown Front Royal and is full of potential. It shouldn't be difficult to develop more atmospheric surroundings and perhaps start to move towards a more interesting and innovative menu.

I think this is a good alternative for a warm filling meal for about 10 dollars. We had the turkey special and had no room for dessert. I couldn't get out without buying the old fashioned Reed's candy. Their flavors are as good as I remember from the old Reed's drug store in Havre de Grace Maryland 50 years back! Nice to sit down and be waited on without a high bill and the servers here were just great.

Hand-crafted, heirloom German style beers, trend setting IPAs, with a couple of experimental recipes thrown in; locally inspired upscale pub food; cool renovated 1920âs parking garage; two outside dining areas; live music and fun events every week; all si
We stopped here after a long kayak trip and it was a great find! We sat outside, and the patio is a great space. The server was very knowledgeable about both the beer and the food and answered our questions without hesitation. I wish I remembered his name to give him a shout out. The beers were great and so was the food. Highly recommend this place if you're in the area!

Forget 'casual dining.' That's an industry term so out of touch with how consumers eat and drink today. For premium quality and style; fare that's at times familiar and other times adventurous and a laid-back modern setting, Houlihan's is a true original.
The lunch combo, which I did not order but received anyway, is a total rip off. I paid 1150 for half a wrap that had two small pieces of chicken the size of my thumbnail.Interestingly, if I had ordered a half of a wrap, I would have received a side salad or soup. I was offered nor received either. The waitress was not the least bit concerned when I pointed this out. Will not return!Thank you for taking the time to give us your feedback. We are very sorry to hear about this experience. This is not typical nor reflective of the type of service we strive to provide to our guests. Our team would love the opportunity to make it right. The owner indicated they were part of the Front Royal food strip. Baby backs I'm going back not inexpensive about 30 bucks for full rack. Boy they were sure good meaty tender delicious. No choice in sauce but house sauce is good. Went from Virginia to Colorado doing barbq these were the best including Oklahoma,MO,KS. and I am hard to please. Pig sandwich really really good. Mac and cheese was really good collareds tender I'd like a little more vinegar didn't see any but little hot sauce, mashed potatoes and Cole slaw both good. Even my mom could get some dark edges on her corn bread good stuff. It's a walk up counter order they brought us ours others came to counter and picked their orders up themselves. I had half rack two sides corn bread about 16 pleny for the money. Good BarBQ joint. Out of desserts darn.

PaveMint officially opened June 2015. PaveMint is a "Farm to Street" Taphouse and Smokehouse featuring a gastropub menu focusing on fun, street foods using high-quality, local products from farms in the region. We are not fast food. Every menu item is mad
When arriving in Front Royal on the first leg of our vacation, we were looking for a place to eat. We looked through a list of places the hotel recommended, and we thought based on the name this would be a fun spot. The venue is a step back to vintage Americana with a modern twist. The beer menu was extensive and provided something for every background of beer drinking. The real draw was the food. Everyone was incredibly impressed. I had brisket tacos and Mac n beer cheese. My wife, who loves French fries, pushed those aside for her pulled pork sandwich. She said it was the best that she had ever had. Sheâs already joking about going back again, and we live 6 hours away.

The endless creativity of Chef-Owners David and Stacy Gedney has produced an excellent bistro alternative to the commitment of fine dining restaurants and to the ennui of the countless chain restaurants. Element offers a variety of sapid dishes for lunch
First time visit here. It was a pleasant experience. My girlfriendâs chicken looks delicious. My fusion udon with asian spices is good but too salty. Waitress are friendly and excellent. We met and socialize with an elder couple celebrating his 80+ birthday. I would recommend this place but order something different.

Casual, eclectic and fun menu. Brunch on Sundays, picnics, take-out or dine-in lunch or dinner. Hearty meat dishes but vegetarian/vegan friendly with lots of entree options for the latter. Gluten free options available as well
Travelling with folk of different dietary restrictions can drastically impede restaraunt options. Soooooo happy we stumbled upon Blue Wing Frog. Fresh real food. Organic sourcing. All from scratch original recipes cooked to order. Helpful staff to navigate menu and make fabulous recommendations. Everyone enjoyed themselves. Portions were sizable, and oh so tasty.Decor is cross between country store, bistro, and local artist gallery. Main dining features an oversized picnic table.Would definitely return when next in area.

Don't waste yoru time at MCDonalds or Buger King down the road. Get the Cavern Burger at Spelunkers. They also have great fries, onion Rings and Milk Shakes. All cooked to lerder. great stuff. The only drawback can be the crowd. It is so good lots of folks are there for lunch and dinner.
