This visit to Crabtrees was our first since it opened. Mediterranean/American style is not my first choice for eating out. But to make the wife happy and our friend happy since it was her birthday and our 50th anniversary. The service is excellent with water being repeatedly refilled and the crumbs removed very quickly. The 1st thing that annoyed me was this pesky fly throughout the whole time we were at the table. No one is going take swats during a meal so I have no solution. The front door is constantly being opened. My 2nd problem (and I know it is my fault), was the vegetables. Each dish comes with mashed potato and a mix of vegetables like yellow and green zucchini, stringbeans, and pieces of broccoli(ugh) and some slices of beets (ugh 2).For starters our friend had the buratta salad and i shared the escargot with wifey. That came in the full shell on a plate of garlic sauce which is what makes this dish so good.For main course our friend had the darla's chicken, wife had the salmon and I had the porterhouse style 16 ounce pork chop. The chop was huge and covered with sauteed peppers and onions. The chop was very good but I probably would have been happier had I stuck with my first thought of getting 2 appetizers and a salad. I studied the menu and really wanted the calamari plate and the escargot with a salad.Appetizers and salads run from $11-15 while most main dishes run in the teens to 30+.When we arrived the place was not too filled but when we left on a Sunday nite , it was packed. If you are still hungry for dessert, get the gelato.

This Diner has been here for many years and has gotten better with time. I've been here for breakfast - delicious well made breakfasts, hot strong coffee ad always with friendly refills. Been here for lunch - great lunch specials that include soup, entree/sandwich platters and coffee/tea. Great hot fresh soups and always love their coffee. Dinners - plenty of choices to feed anyone in your family and many specials too. Generous portions & desserts that will satisfy you! Finally late night munchies - always can find something at this Diner to ease the hunger cravings after going out at night. Awesome Diner with friendly warm efficient servers and caring management. We stopped for Sunday Brunch/Blunch. Service was great, quick, efficient but not hovering. Food was cooked to order. I had the steak sandwich and it was more than enough. We didn't realize the roof top was open or we would have gone up there. We looked after we finished and it looked very nice.

A small chain of places strategically around the city. Their burgers are cooked in a unique way to Keto them moist that is very tasty. They do great excellent breakfasts as well. Good service and fair prices as well.

My extended family came here for lunch recently, me for the first time, and we had a very good time. My second Bloody Mary was better than the first, and perhaps 50% bigger (isn't that always the case?). Burgers with Onion Rings and Waffle Fries hit the spot. My Greek Salad was as good as it gets, with loads of Feta, Dolma, peppers, tomatoes and lettuce (no Anchovies at my request, and why would they be standard?) and dressing on the side. So good, but so big I had to take half home. Having recently also been to the Veranda next door, I'll take food over atmosphere and outside seating anytime.

Small space inside, nice seating area with tables and umbrellas treed,shaded area outside in back of the restaurant. Went for lunch they have nice selection of sandwiches, paninis, burgers. Food was good and cooked to perfection. Belgian fries and drinks also very good. Service was spotty the waitress missed an order and to make up for it gave us a $5 discount in lieu of a coupon. Went to Uncle Jackâs for my birthday as we have done on many other occasions. Was greeted professionally, seated promptly, and continued to have excellent service. Bad news for us was that food was not worth the money. My wife and daughter had three Cosmos each. They were tiny sized, and seemed to have little or no alcohol. I didnot see price as my daughter did not let me see the bill, but she said they were way too expensive, and not worth the money. Roll basket came, and we asked the waiter for the flat bread they used to serve. He said they were no longer offered. Basket came with 1 onion roll, one raisin roll and one plain roll. When we asked for some additional onion rolls waiter said they no longer served them. When we mentioned that other tables were getting them, he was surprised and found us some. Food came, with shrimp and crab appetizers being good, but not worth the money. We had a lobster tail (usually do not have whole lobsters as most steak housed do) which was watery, probably just defrosted, just so-so, and certainly a ripoff at $40. The steak was just okay, the pork chop also just okay. On a recent trip to the Palm, everything we ordered was above our expectations. Here, for similar or greater prices just about everything was below what we expected. We believe they are trying too hard to increase profits by making food sacrifices. When my daughter paid the bill, which I am certain was over $400, she cringed for the prices for just average food and drinks. When my daughter got the bill she noticed a charge of over $10 for credit card processing. Again unheard of for a supposed top steak house. When questioned the waiter said okay, he would remove it.We will certainly not be returning for other occasions after being so disappointed on this visit.

So we usually have standard bar fare here but decided to try something different for lunch. Good quick service and advice from the bartender Natalie. Enjoyed the salmon with horseradish... asked for it blackened at Natalie's suggestion, and really liked it along with the garlic mashed potatoes. DW throughly enjoyed the cranberry chicken salad wrap. Glad we experimented with the regular menu! Looking forward to returning. Natalie also made a great cocktail.

Came to Donovanâs for a family birthday. We had 3 generations and all found something delicious to eat. Enjoyed the seafood platter, salmon wrapped scallops, Shepardâs pie, skirt steak, burgers and kidâs Mac and cheese & chicken fingers. Staff was great. This is a high energy (noisy) Reataurant.

A group of 7 had dinner in their outside terrace on a Tuesday evening and were very satisfied with our dinners. The terrace is very large and airy, not claustrophobic as some outdoor dining areas are. We started our meal with Zucchini chips, fried calamari and a salad along with a lovely bottle of Rose. Dinners were salmon, sea bass, steak and seafood over linguine. The appetizers and dinners were all very good to excellent. We finished off our meals with Ekma(greek dessert of whipped creme and crushed walnuts and honey), creme brulee and brownie sundae, all very good. There is valet parking at the side of the restaurant which is a plus. A nice place conveniently located off the Clearview Expressway on Northern Blvd., a bit pricey but perfect for a special occassion.
