We just needed a quick breakfast. I asked if the sausage gravy was made there- no, so I went with the French toast. Everything was just fine. They messed up my husbands order, instead of a ham egg and cheese sandwich they gave him a ham steak and eggs ( more expensive) all in all we thought it was pretty pricey for nothing. Should have just stopped at Denys. On the way out we said bye to the waitress who didnât even answer us till we were almost out the door. Sad part is itâs on our trip from Virginia to jersey so if we liked it we would def have been repeat customers. Not worth your time.

We dined in the garden on an early summer day. Our food was not only healthy, but delicious too. Farm to table! Chick pea salad sandwich-yum. Have also had breakfast here: ricotta toast drizzled with honey and sprinkled with toasted almond slivers. Heaven. And their shrimp and grits at dinner are outstanding. As you can tell, we really like this restaurant!

This is a very popular place for locals. The food is surprisingly good for a local bar. Get there early or you may have to wait.

We were 14 for dinner. Yes were expected to have to wait for our food after it was ordered. We waited awhile before the server got to us. She took our drink orders. Waited again before the food orders were taken. Waited 35 minutes for the food to be served. Then it took more than 15 minutes for the last person to get her food and it was a simple sandwich. We think she forgot to put the order in. They were not that busy. Short staffed? Maybe.

Love the Blue Water Grill! Great, creative, menu. Chef always coming up with something new and tasty. Lots of locals meet here for drinks and dining. Parking across the street is convenient and close. This is a local treasure. They offer fantastic specials like $5 crushes and $5 creamsicle. Or taco Tuesdays, $2 fish tacos.Be sure to try their mussels, my husband's favorite, or beer cheese & pretzels. Yum!!You won't go wrong with whatever you order. Highly recommend if you are in or near Millsboro, DE.
Fresh, Fresh seafood. Oysters shucked everyday, reasonable prices. Friendly family establishment. Good old fashion seafood market.
This incredible place, in a converted warehouse off Route 20 near Route 54, is totally fantastic! We discovered it last summer and have been eagerly awaiting its opening for the season this year. This weekend when we were at the beach we were delighted to find it open, stopped in, and it's back as good if not even better than before. The shrimp tacos are the best tacos I've had in my life (and I've had a lot of tacos). They also have burritos, tortas, a variety of crab cakes (including spicy avocado!), fried chicken, and more. Wallace is our go-to restaurant whenever we are at the beach during the summer season. From the outside it doesn't look like much. But be adventurous and go on in - the owner is friendly and the food is fantastic.

Stopping in for a late lunch while working in the area. My coworker had a buffalo chicken wrap he enjoyed. I had the French dip which was very good and a salad. The downside was the atmosphere - soap operas blaring on both TVs, personality-less servers (I still donât know who our server was as we never saw the same one twice). I donât believe Iâll be back.

The Frankford Family Diner is located along US 113 North about five miles north of the Delaware/Maryland state line. As we were going through northern Maryland, we started to look for something along the lines of fast food, but not much came up with satisfactory reviews, so a quick search online brought us to this place instead. Parking was easy to get into for this visit as well. Note that you can only access the place while traveling north along US 113. If traveling south, you will need to do a U-turn to get to the place. Our visit here was on September 22, 2019.When you look at the place from the outside, it looks like a little red building and wouldn't think much of it. Looks can be deceiving, as it was actually a great experience. Once we got inside, we were asked if we wanted a booth or a table. We requested a table and we were immediately seated as well. It was pretty busy at the time, even for 1:30 pm. Shortly after, our server Cathy was at the table, introduced herself and asked us for our drink order. It was a Pepsi kind of day for the drink. After bringing the drinks over, she asked if we were ready to order, but wasn't quite ready yet. After some additional time, we were ready to order. We both went with items on the mini meals menu. I ended up getting the Stuffed Shrimp mini meal with french fries. My mom would end up getting the Fried Scallops mini meal with a baked potato.About 10 minutes later, our orders were ready and came to the table. The Stuffed Shrimp was stuffed with a lot of crab meat. The crab meat was all real crab meat with no fillers in it. Also, for a mini meal, it was a large portion too, making it well worth the cost of the entree. The crab meat was hot and tasteful. I was blown away by this entree. My mom said the fried scallops were great for her as well, along with the baked potato. Our server came by a few times to check on us to make sure things went were fine, which of course for us it was. At the end, she asked if we wanted anything else, but definitely too full for that.Overall, this was an excellent experience. It takes a lot for me to give a place a five star rating, especially after only one visit, but this place is deserving of it. The food and service were excellent. Another nice perk is that there is no sales tax in Delaware, so no taxes were added to the end of the bill as well. The food portion sizes were large, even for a mini meal. When we come back home this way in the future, we plan to make it a point to stop here again. If your travels take you this way, and are hungry for some good diner food, this is the place to go. I don't think you'll be disappointed.

The Big Chill Beach Club is the premier ocean-front restaurant, concert/wedding/event venue in Southern Delaware. From reggae + rock concerts, to casual lunches, bustling dinners and a daily sunset celebration, this is an experience your not going to want
What a difference a year makes. Iâll keep it short and sweet. The margarita was lousy (more salt on the rim than alcohol in the cup), my Waimea rice bowl was lukewarm, and the waiter showed no interest in his job. The really concerning thing is that the weather is suspect, so itâs not crowded here; the place is completely over staffed to the point that theyâre standing around watching ESPN in the bar. I canât imagine how it would be if they were busy. Yikes. Thanks for the feedback! Looks like the atmosphere on this day really contributed to a lousy experience. When planning the schedule, we can't necessarily predict that a late July/early August day will be "suspect." We've got to staff so that we are prepared if it ends up being a beautiful day. There are times when mother nature may throws us a curveball and because we were preparing to be busy, it may appear to a guest that we are "over-staffed." We welcome you to come back on a beautiful day so that you can see these guys and gals at their best.We will take note of the over-salted rim and lukewarm Waimea bowl as we begin planning for 2020.If you have any other thoughts on food and how we can improve, please shoot us an email at [email protected]!
