Find out what American restaurants to try in Folly Beach. A barrier island where you can see loggerhead turtles nesting, dolphins playing and bald eagles soaring in the sky, Folly Beach offers a kick-off-your-shoes beach lifestyle where the livin’ is easy and the fish always seem to be biting. All of the beaches on Folly Island are superb, but, arguably the Folly Beach County Park, at the island’s west end, is perhaps the best with amenities like 2,500 feet of ocean frontage, picnic areas and boogie board, bicycle, umbrella and chair rentals available between Labor Day and Memorial Day.
“Drop a line” is a common local saying and for good reason. Anglers can select from surf fishing, river fishing, pier fishing and deep-sea fishing. Head to the Folly Beach Fishing Pier, which is 24 feet wide extending more then 1,045 feet into the Atlantic Ocean, making it perfect for fishing, strolling and bird and dolphin watching. For adventurous types, you can kayak around Folly Beach and James Island, jet ski, parasail or ride a bicycle along Folly’s six mile of beachfront.

Pier 101 Restaurant & Bar is located at 101 East Arctic Avenue on Edwin S. Taylor Fishing Pier on Folly Beach, South Carolina. Offering beachfront dining with panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean, Pier 101 serves classically inspired American and Souther
Sunday evening dinner went real well. There was no wait and decided to dine inside as we all were not dressed for the cool breeze on the outside dining area. I will say though, the outside area would have provided a nice night time view of the pier and ocean as the moon was full. The grouper bites were delicious and the drinks - The Folly Vice and the Kokomo were also quite a treat. I would recommend giving this place a try.

Casual beach restaurant, open at 11am Mon-Fri and Brunch on Sat & Sun, starting at 8am. Chef Billy makes the most delicious burgers, sandwiches, salads and fresh catch daily specials. Indoor and outdoor seating. Live music. Come straight from bed or the b
First, great opportunity to sit outside and enjoy some great tunes on a Friday night. Great drink list, and Rita's was hopping as evidenced by 30+ minute wait. Sat and had some drinks which was just fine. The menu seemed strong, and looked forward to the meal. I had the barbecue with the fries and cole slaw. First the good stuff: the fries were scalding hot, and quite tasty, almost as if they were double cooked (in a good way mind you). High marks on the fries. The barbecue was just ok, and I hate to say that as I love barbecue and order it every opportunity. That being said, it was a good night, and next time I'd just shy away from the barbeque and find something else on the menu. But outdoor seating, music and wait staff were great.

Southern Living Magazine named the Charleston Crab Shack "One of the 10 Best Seafood Spots in South Carolina." With overflowing buckets of fresh seafood, great BBQ, daily specials and a rockin' happy hour, it's a good old elbows-on-the-table family feast.
In terms of food, we enjoyed a great meal everything you would expect from the other reviews. It was a very hot day, but we expect an air-conditioned restaurant to be at least moderately cooler. The Shack was unbearably hot. We had children with us and they melted down.Thank you for letting me know about your visit. I assure you I have addressed the AC issue, P;ease feel free to call me on my personal cell, I would love the op[opportunity to make things right, Ron Hill, owner 843-437-2546

Surf Bar is a locals' favorite on Folly Beach, South Carolina.
One of the top dive bars on the East coast. Always good service and decent food. Outside patio with fireplace is inviting during the off season. Just remember this is not Kiawah.

Very friendly and attentive service. Food was really good. Highly recommend the wings. Fall off the bone tender and spiced just right. Loved the open air atmosphere. Definitely worth a stop for lunch, dinner or drinks.

Loggerhead's is "The Spot" on Folly Beach where locals and tourists meet to enjoy food, drink and themselves in a fun laid back atmosphere. We focus on fresh local seafood prepared to order with fair prices. Enjoy the smoke free dining room or relax on th
Popped over to the Loggerhead while hanging on the beach. Cool spot, service was great, and the cheesesteak was delicious. Frozen drinks were awesome too. Great spot even if it is owned by a Philadelphia Eagles fan. ;-). Small price to pay for an awesome cheesesteak.

Weâre an eclectic Breakfast and Lunch Cafe on Folly Beach, SC. We use locally fresh ingredients when possible. Our coffee is roasted locally by King Bean, and our Breads and Pastries are nakedness by Ashley Bakery.
We visited for breakfast and could eat outside with our pups. Best cheese grits I ever ate, everyone else liked theirs too! I had to stop and get a sandwich to go to the beach and had the Surferâs healing with falafel, it was really delicious. I got a seasonal pumpkin frappe and it was delightful. Just seems they close down outside sitting in any wind or chance of rain or we would of ate there again. Putting their sticker on my Jeep to remember it!

This was my 12 year old daughter's FAVORITE restaurant ever on our trip. Here is what she says:"If I made a restaurant it would be this. They had something yummy for everyone. Also it was decorated with dogs."My edits: She literally could not decide between menu items and she is normally a picky eater but somehow this place had all her favorites. Our (adult) dishes were also really good. Service was better than expected for such a busy place. The sweet tea is lovely. And the theme is adorable. Loved this place.

Wine selection was large and you could try all of them in small quantities if you wznted. The cheese and meat plate allowed for many choices. Portions were much larger than the norm on these plates and the six item plate was more than enough for dinner for the 2 of us. Bread served was excellent and unlike most places there was enough.Friendly prompt service. Try it !Hi Mr. Jim ,Thank you so much for coming into Uncork. Neighborhood beach bar with fresh cocktails and tasty food. Nightly specials as well as Happy Hour!
So glad this place opened! Definitely one of our regular go to restaurants. We've been about a dozen times. Some of my favorite mixed drinks ever. Food is always very good and very fresh. We love the open air concept. The set up is a bit weird about ordering food if you aren't sitting at the bar, but the rest is great. Staff has always been great. We love going for an evening boat ride, then walking to Lowlife for drinks and food after.
