The service at this location has went downhill. The table we were sat at was not clean then food came out cold. Needs new management Hi there, we sincerely apologize for this. Had a really terrific breakfast experience here on a weekday morning. I believe this place gets pretty packed on the weekend, but on this Tuesday morning there were not too many people in the restaurant. The menu offerings were way more vast than I had imagined and the service was most excellent. Living in Asheville, we are always on the lookout for good places to take our constant stream of visitors to our home and this place is definitely added to our list. Had some Cajun items on the menu for a little lagniappes as well - always a plus.Thanks so much for coming in and taking the time to write this great review, Robert. Ate here last time I stayed at the Hilton...but this time something was just off. Wait staff was great and super helpful, but food was just not cooked great...potatoes were cold and bland and hamburger was just not great. Second visit for lunch. First visit, took forever to get water refill after noticing wait staff just standing around. This visit did not find the wait staff that friendly. Brought wrong menu. Female took it and never brought correct one. Prices are fairly high for lunch. Ordered the cheeseburger medium. If thatâs medium, medium rare will walk in on 4 legs attached to a leash. I had just arrived at Asheville airport, asked Siri for the closest restaurant...this popped up! Good ole boy restaurant with great bbq and veggies. The proprietor was joyful and happy. Itâs like a little cafeteria...you pick what you want, take a tray to the table. I had a veggie dish of potatoes, southern green beans and yams....yummy! My friends had the bbq sandwich....nothing was left on the plates!

Pretty good pork. They make several sauces which are good. They recently almost doubled the price per pound. Used to be $7.50, now $13.00. We can't comment on the sides but they looked good. They also serve good Cajun food.

Nice atmosphere on the patio, staff was very kind to our small dog. Sandwiches were very tasty. One odd thing - you go to the counter to order, serve yourself to drinks, and then they bring your food to the table, after which you have to bus your own table. On the check-out, we were asked how much we wanted to tip (by percentage). Why would you tip at all under the circumstances?

They run this place efficiently and the openness of the dining room is pretty great. I got the fried green tomato sandwich with pimento cheese and bacon and man was it good! Their Mac and cheese and corn pudding was great as well. The only reason I didnât give it a 5 is because I thought it was a little expensive for the below with a drink for $15

This is a wonderful restaurant in Biltmore Park famous for its pork BBQ. A generous side of hush puppies and several sauces to add to the pulled pork make this a must if in the area!!! The manger, Krissy, is friendly and welcoming. She has live music often and goes out of her way to make you and your party feel appreciated. The menu includes chicken and the usual BBQ sides including coleslaw, fries, collards etc. Desserts are changed frequently. Outside seating is great in the evening and offers a spot to people watch.Thank you so much for the great review. Krissy is a real treasure and knows how to treat our guests.
