We are a slightly upscale Steakhouse that also serves a nice variety of Seafood as well as Baby Back Ribs. Our Vegetarian selection is sure to please the most delicate of pallets.
Uniquely situated as part of a golf course we were very pleased with the service Susannah provided as she spent most of her time apologizing and correcting the mistakes of the kitchen. The ribeye was quite good the second time around as were the deserts.

Locally owned, award winning Selah Tea Cafe located in historic downtown Waterville proudly serves organic coffee, loose leaf tea, and espresso beverages. Our creative food is a must try! Desserts made by the owners, Rachel and Bobby McGee, grandmother, k
Good Barrista -knows how to make espresso drinks. Cortado excellent. Took away the iced drinks and nursed them during our drive. Nice classic building. High ceilings. Cheerful staff. YELP says best espresso. I agree!Thank you for your kind review, I will be sure to pass this along to the team for a job well done! Cheers!

This Waterville pub offers an extensive menu of rotating local craft beers in 16 and 22 oz sizes, and a surprisingly sophisticated menu, in a casual, college-town environment. In addition to standard pub fare, the menu includes a number of very good seafood choices, including blackened salmon (which was cooked medium rare, as we like it), and Asian tuna, deliciously rare and tender with appealing (but not overpowering) seasoning. Fish and chips was good but not great; and it paled in comparison to the salmon and tuna. Tartar sauce seemed to be homemade and was delicious. Fresh, attractive field greens made for a lovely salad. Portions are generous and prices are reasonable. The wait staff are pleasant, helpful, attentive and efficient. Noise levels on week nights are moderate. On Fridays by 8:00 pm, the college crowd has filled in, and the scene becomes increasingly frenetic. We were told that the noise levels are daunting on any night when the pub has live music. Highly recommended as long as you avoid the noisy times.

Another downtown Waterville gem. Proper Pig specializes in burgers, which they do VERY well. They have great Happy Hour drink and appetizer options, and as many sandwich choices as burgers. One thing I havenât tried (but would like to) are their flatbreads...maybe thatâll be what I get next time! My only slight complaint is also kind of a compliment: Iâve eaten here twice, and had to wait a while both times for my food. Itâs a testament to the popularity of this place! Come hungry, but be prepared to get an appetizer while you wait.

Serving breakfast all day and a strong focus on catering special events. A variety of coffee and teas and delicious pancakes, waffles etc.
A quaint restaurant with a great variety of food choices. Good size portions and delicious. Our server was friendly and quick. Unfortunately, we had a situation, my niece has celiac disease. She that no bread or wheat touch her plate - meal came w/toast on top. She asked that they make her a new meal, and the cook was rude. Celiac disease is very serious, and in her case, even cross-contamination could cause her to go to the hospital.

We prefer not to go to the chain restaurants whenever possible. After looking through this sight for a place to eat on a midway drive to northern Maine chose this restaurant. Itâs about 5 minutes off of the interstate but worth the short detour. Set your GPS to 8 silver st Waterville,Me There is a large municipal parking lot opposite the front and there are 3 restaurants next to each other. We were early arrived around 11:15 AM for lunch. Seated immediately. Our server ( Megan M) came right over asking for if we wanted a drink. (lemonade for both $3.00 each.)It was just slightly sweetened but tasted fresh squeezed. After she took our order. I got the Eggplant special it was excellent and arrived piping hot. Plenty of calamata olives and artichoke hearts as described on the specials menu. ($11) My dining companion had the turkey powerhouse wrap which is ($13) very filling with a good portion of kettle chips that seemed home made. Both servings were delicious and service was prompt and friendly. There is outdoor seating under umbrellas if one desired.

I went here for dinner on a Saturday night. Place was pretty crowded, and there is not much seating available, either at tables or the bar. The place has some interesting dining options, most of which are more expensive than I would have thought considering the location. I guess there are not many semi-upscale restaurants in the area. The food I got was quite good. They have beer and wine options as well. There are a lot of Maine beers that are not cheap. Service at the bar was ok, wasn't particular efficient or friendly.Hey there! Sorry to hear that you had a less then stellar experience. I understand some of your criticisms from that evening; it was homecoming weekend at Colby and we were packed! So, I'm sure getting a seat was likely a bit tough. We usually have a bit more flexibility. In regards to pricing, our menu is largely locally sourced. We're the only spot in the area focusing so heavily on local, and while we strive to be competitive, we want to raise the culinary bar for the whole area. But, I'm happy you enjoyed the food! Feel free to drop in and give us another shot some time. Thanks.

Each year for the holidays my French-Canadian aunts would each make a tourtiere. Every one was a creation of comfort food love. While I never saw any recipe, each aunt swore hers was the way my grandmother made it. I have no idea. I looked forward to this tradition. It was a connection to far simpler time, way back when Canada was not our enemy. I was in Waterville for a meeting. I came across this entry for Belanger's here on Tripadvisor. It was a grey, cold, snowy day. Warm tourtiere seemed like an ideal lunch.I'm so glad I took the time to find the place. Each of my aunts made a slightly different version of their mother's dish. Every pie was bland. Once I was out of their sight I doctored my slice with salt, pepper, and whatever sauce I could find. This was not necessary at Belanger's. Their recipe was wonderful totally as is. I didn't feel the need to tweak what was served. My aunt's passed long ago. They won't know that a little place in Fairfield cooks a piece of a French-Canadian tradition far better than any they produced. I don't know if Belanger's sells whole pies. I hope they do. Next time I am anywhere close I'll pick one up. It'll be the perfect dinner for a cold winter evening.

We had the private room upstairs for a party of about 15, and service was good. The menu is surprisingly extensive--perhaps too much so for the restaurant's own good. I had the crab cakes to start, and they were mediocre--not much crab. The mixed seafood grill was better, nicely prepared. Super fresh green salad on the side. I'll return if I find myself in Waterville again.

This is one of those diners that isnât shy about giving you large portions for low prices...and thatâs something I really appreciate. They serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner, but I think their breakfasts (especially their massive pancakes) are what theyâre best known for. If you need to load up on calories before a big hike on a nearby trail, or even if youâre looking for a cheap place to grab a cup of coffee and catch up with friends, this is a great place to try.
