Have been to Richard's Pub many times. It's always good food - basic and home made. Good seafood. Great burgers. Free popcorn at the bar. Lots of friendly folks. A real local favorite. On a Friday night, it's loud, but still a good time. A solid choice.

well run, good management, very clean,a small chain of qualtiy locations in RI. Great, not expensive meals, and the desserts are outstanding get a piece of the cakes and they will blow you away.meal quality is very good. like the turkey dinner or a great corned beef sandwich, you have to ask for the piickles but they are special.yes they used to give them without asking but not anymore. I think people just wasted them so I think it is a smart idea. Sandwiches are close to NY style and are very large and you can split one with a side and be full. The fries are good.then get the cake.awsome.always good parking.clean, good service.run well.

The wife insisted I leave a review. I get To-Go orders there a couple times a week. Always tip them 20% just for placing my order over the phone. I called today and they would not take an order because "they were too busy." Takeout orders are free money. Don't take up tables or space. Stupid

Came here late in the evening after the July Fourth fireworks on our way home, we ended up being the only patrons in the whole place. The food and service were excellent, and the place had this certain vibe which really made the dining experience much more enjoyable.

I'm back in Rhode Island this weekend (Sept. 21-24, 2018) to visit relatives and we returned to the Homestead Restaurant on Friday evening arriving around 6pm finding a full parking lot and a wait of about 30 minutes for a table. It was filled with locals of all ages. We knew it was worth the wait for the great food, large menu of selections, fair prices and good service. Again I enjoyed one of the three veal selections and my entree including two vegetables for only $15.50. I also had to have their great French onion soup for a $2.00 upcharge. As always, everyone enjoyed their meal. The family owned Homestead Restaurant is a real gem in the Exeter area of Rhode Island; It has never disappointed!

Heard good things and wanted to check it out. Stopped in with my family for lunch today. Huge bar with tables around the perimeter. Pretty busy for a weekday. Great service and we all thought the food was really good! Impressed, I will definitely be back! Thanks

Celestial Café is one of our favorite restaurants for fresh local food and the service is always great. They use as much fresh local food as possible and the menu offers a great variety. The Eggplant Tower is absolutely delicious and very different than anything you'd get somewhere else.

Loved all of our food, except the clam fritters (not many clams). The clear broth clam chowder was delicious! Loved the fish 'n chips. The biscuits and sausage gravy had a bit of an Italian flavoring and was really good. Great home fries and eggs. Very friendly service and easy parking.

I like the area of Mariner Sq. as there are a few nice places to choose from here. This restaurant has one of the largest menu selections in the area and so something for everyone. I really like the steaks and they are always done to perfection. Now the prices are a bit higher than some of the others in the area however with the great quality it is well worth the extra dollar or two. The service was a bit on the slow side but we were not in a rush and the waitstaff itself was very nice and polite. I think the kitchen may have been backed up a bit.not enough to make it a problem. My wife had a fish dish (she always does) and she said it was perfect. Everything was very fresh, came out hot, and was plated to perfection. We go here at least once every summer and always are well treated and like it very much. A good place to stop.
