One of the few places where you can still get real banana pancakes (with bananas inside the pancakes) and while a little pricey, the portions are large enough to compensate. Also great oven baked apple pancake and enormous omelets. Coffee cups are tiny, but staff keeps them filled.

The Elmhurst locals behind Pints, at 112 South York Road, are excited to bring their friends and neighbors in the Western suburbs, a new concept with One Fifty One Kitchen | Bar. At One Fifty One Kitchen | Bar, we do simple food the hard way, by hand-maki
Wait staff was very attentive. The manager introduced himself and assisted with the vast selection of specialized drinks. Found them to be extraordinarily expensive. The food was good but also overpriced. I also thought the portion were small. Other than that it was a pleasant environment. Donât think I will be going back.

The flight of their craft beers is a good place to start, even if like me, you haven't been a big craft beer person for awhile. There are some genuinely great beers on tap and some surprises/risks (cold brew coffee in your beer? YES! it's great actually) The food menu is solid, as well. Options for a broad spectrum of preferences, wings to hummus, mussels to prime rib, veggie pita to cheeseburger. (Mussels are stellar and the buffalo chicken sandwich was outstanding) Great ambience/décor/vibe inside and I've had the pleasure of great musicians when I have been on nights with an acoustic guitar on stage. There is also an upper balcony/upstairs that appears good for larger groups.Kudos to the management for the play area for kids! Finally, can't wait to see what the outdoor area is like in warmer weather and will be more of a regular here.

Excellent food but very expensive food. $14.99 for a burger and fries is ridiculous. $11.00 Mac n cheese ? That being said, the food is really good. They know what they are doing with their smoked meats. The Ribs were delicious. Not fall of the bone boiled like a portillos, you have to chew them off the bone, WHICH I LIKE. $65.00 for lunch for 3 is nuts especially when none of us drank any alcohol. They have so many different beers it is crazy. I may return, but only if someone else is paying, lol. I'm not a cheapskate, I just assign a certain value to certain foods, and this place is at the top of my threshold of being too expensive for what it is.

Very friendly and courteous staff, we had breakfast and lunch, with a wonderful grilled chicken club sandwich. we also had the chucken fajitas which were fresh and light, with homemade guacamole which my Aunt really enjoyed. last was the 2x2x2 french toast breakfast that my Mom really devoured with a nice smile on her face. They are a special breakfast and lunch only diner, so give them a try.

local favorite, reviewed on yelp and others. If you google you will find several listings. Would love to review this as we eat here every time we visit Elmhurst, which is 1-2 times a year for 16 years. ALL the locals know Rainbow very well. Always busy.
Friendly family-run restaurant. Extensive menu. Good service. I had the chicken kabob dinner; my friend had the chicken Kiev; my sister had an omelette. All were very good. We were there on a Saturday afternoon, and it was very busy---clearly popular with people who live nearby. Prices reasonable. Free parking.

Went for happy hour. Stayed for dinner. Service was great. Huge portions. I had the Chicken Velasco and it was outstanding. Took a bit longer to cook but a full wine glass kept me satisfied! Our party of four was very pleased. Will definitely return!

Like stepping into a Northwoods supper club. Friendly atmosphere and old world decor are combined with all the standard dinner options including a passable Sunday brunch and better than average Friday Fish Fry -- all highlighted by a pleasant garden view.
