The Silver Fox is the best restaurant in Ellicottville, hands down. Whether you order the filet or the sesame tuna itâs cooked to perfection. The bouilabaidsse is to die for when they have it. Delightful atmosphere and great wine list. The date night special is dinner for two for $48 and a great affordable option. I recommend this restaurant whenever anyone asks.

Service is very good, friendly and efficient. The prices are a bit below the norm for E'ville. The lemon pepper fish 'fry' is one of the best we've had. Perfectly cooked and plenty of it.

Always the best party in town! Ellicottvilleâs spot for viewing all your favorite sports, showing games on 12 screens. Balloons features 17 draft lines with some of the nationâs best craft beer. Live music every Friday 7-10:30pm and Saturday 6-9:30pm foll
Went here for both a late dinner and stayed for drinks afterwards when the front of the restaurant turns into a bar at night. Popular on weekends in ellicottville both winter and summer. Good pub style food options for dinner. I would say the best spot to go in the evenings if you are looking for a nightclub style. Fun atmosphere!

The host (manager?) went out of his way to seat my family despite how busy they were. Service was friendly and professional. My Reuben was good and the local beer selection was fun to sample. Might be a good alternative to the more typically popular weekend spots. The live music was fun for the kids (lots of cool Neil Young covers) and the employees seemed really happy to be there.

Fresh Brick Oven pizza experience. Hand prepared and made fresh every order!
Went here late night for some food. We had a chicken wing style pizza, that was incredible! We also had some chicken wings that were just Ok. Service was a bit slow but it was due to a big crowd and not the staff. I would definitely go back!

Whenever we are at Holiday Valley for skiing we find our way to John Harvard for one or more meals. This visit my son and I had a dinner and a lunch. Dinner was pizza for son and Fish and chips for me. Pizza was good and the fish and chips was very good. For lunch he had the 10 oz steak and I had the French dip. Both were excellent. The French dip was done in a way that is different than my experience elsewhere but I rate it as the best I've had anywhere. If in Ellicottville or at Holiday Valley, treat yourself to a meal here. This visit was mud week and not holiday so there was no wait, On earlier trips we were there during a holiday or weekendd and found that a wait was required before seating unless we came for a late dinner.

Although breakfast and lunch are served, we just stopped in for coffee and a treat. The service was great and the decor very welcoming. It's a great spot.

The Gin Mill moved and lacks the friendly atmosphere it once had with the previous owners. We were interested in ordering some food and felt uncomfortable with people roaming around in the bar restaurant atmosphere with live country music. Only a bouncer at the door that looked us up and down as we came in rather that a friendly welcome.

We did the information tour on the brewery which was most enjoyable. Interesting information and it ended with some fine blends of beers. We finished off the day with an awesome dinner on the patio. The gardens are spectacular. Beautiful flowers in full bloom

This place is open breakfast, lunch and dinner. It's super clean, which I love! I don't know how they manage that when they are open all the time. The food is very good and beautifully presented. I wasn't impressed with the young hostess who spent a great deal of time literally twirling her hair. The first night, the service wasn't nearly as good as the second night. That surprised us because it wasn't busy the first night and was super busy the second...AND we had a server on the second night who had just started. Her name was Melissa and she was really great. We were impressed again. This is a must go-to spot!
