The Owl is an expertly-curated home goods store and wine bar. They serve a respectable variety of tasty and reasonably -priced wines and beers. In addition, they have a limited snack menu. With a friendly and knowledgeable staff, and live music on the weekends, you can't go wrong here.

Been going to Lucy's for several years and enjoy it every time. My wife and I stopped in yesterday and again had fantastic meals. You cannot go wrong ordering anything on the menu, but our favorite dish is the Cheesy Chicken which is a chicken fried chicken breast covered with tomatoes, green onions and crispy bacon pieces and oh yeah, melted cheese. Really good!!

First time to eat at Joseph's Steak house. Had the filet with asparagus. Steak was cooked perfectly and very tender with excellent flavor. Asparagus was tender yet a little crisp, not over cooked and great flavor. Very quiet atmosphere to enjoy an incredible meal with family and friends. Our waitress was Julideth - she was awesome, very attentive with strong customer service focus, and knew the restaurant favorites. We will return and recommend Joseph's Steak House!

Review 6 on the Texas Trail. After a visit to the Elgin Hog-Eye Festival and a couple of samples from the competition contestants we headed over to Meyerâs Smokehouse for lunch. This area has a deep German influence to itâs history and Meyerâs has been around 75 years building itâs following for their sausage. The building is huge and they have a retail meats counter off to one side. As the wife and I had done nibbling at the fair, we chose to split a plate rather than order two. After a conversation with the counter staff, we chose:Pork/Garlic sausage-I believe they also had a special this day of Jalapeno/Cheese sausage. When we received our plate I was concerned as the sausage looked over done. But fortunately it was perfectly cooked and moister than expected. Really nice texture and garlic/pepper flavor profile.Smoked Turkey-our first time ordering turkey this trip and we were not disappointed. Outstanding flavor. Smoky and very moist. Great job on the cooking. It had a very tasty pepper rub on the outside which I really like. Slaw & Potato salads-not good. Tasted like commercially made dreck. Sauce-tasted just a bit and decided that it was not to our liking. One bland and the other too fiery. Will have to try other meats when we return. The two we had we enjoyed greatly. And at $23 dollars with drinks and tip a relative bargain. I would recommend and may even order some to be shipped.mlp,Thanks so much for stopping by our restaurant. I was glad to hear you were able to enjoy our Hogeye festival as well as our bbq. I hope next time you stop in you can sample some of our other sides. My first visit for lunch as my family has visited before. It was incredible. Seems everything you try is great from my family's experience so far. This includes meatloaf, beef tips, pork chops, mac and cheese, collards, black eyed peas, rice with gravy, etc. The banana pudding was so yummy and decorated so pretty with a cookie on top. The food had really flavorful and the service is wonderful. We will definitely go back.

I went with a large group although we individually ordered. Really short wait for food (15 minutes). A bit pricey but great quality ingredients. I donât know how to exactly describe the crust- itâs unique. Not really thin but no doughy chewiness to it. Light, airy and crisp. My 9 inch build your own with 3 toppings was $17 though. The garlic bread was fantastic. What I did love are all the sauce base choices- red, alfredo, barbecue, ranch and garlic butter. I opted for the garlic butter base- home run! I would absolutely return here.
