Things to do in East Bridgewater
Basically a breakfast/lunch small restaurant..Prices are reasonable, food is very good, and the service is great. A gathering place for the locals in the a.m. closes agter 2p.m. Open early in the a.m. I would say around 6 or 7a.m.
Food was pretty good. Just a really small cramped place. Is probably more enjoyable off peak times. I got an omelte which was a 1/2 circle on the plate omelet. B for a score. Would I go there again..yeah I guess so.

We are a full service Breakfast/Lunch restaurant with bakery.
The food was average to slightly above average. We went on a Saturday around 11am and didnât have a wait. Waitstaff was friendly and attentive, and the food was good. Started to get busy for lunch as we were leaving. My one complaint- the floor needed to be swept/cleared. Lots of paper wrappers from straws on the floor, along with other debris. Everything else was very clean, though.

Local gourmet flavor and eclectic style meals, no better choice than JJ's. Every dish is mouth wateringly delicious. Good portion sizes and shareable for couples looking for tasty togetherness. JJ's has unique combinations for drinks are fantastic, ask staff for a pairing. JJ's puts Brockton on the map. Only criticism is the venue is not enough to accommodate the healthy crowds looking for JJ's entrees, use the call ahead table reservation service. Go there and you won't be disappointed.

Nice country diner type atmosphere with an extensive menu. We were a large party but had no issues getting seated quickly. Food is good and there are many choices to serve all types of eating habits. All you have to do is ask and they will accommodate.
First time at this restaurant and it was very good. We were seated and waited on quickly by our server. We had wings for a starter and both ordered the steak tips that were very well prepared and tender. The draft beer was nice and cold.
First hand, this property is gorgeous. It was has been maintained very well over the years and it's very clean and welcoming.I was here for a wedding and the rooms were set up very nicely. Victorian décor is not my style, as sometimes when not done right, it can make things look old and dated. Yet here, the table cloths, chairs, and lighting was extremely attractive and I can see why the bride chose this property. My average rating is based on the service; although, it was not rude, it was certainly not warm. The staff barely smiled and most looked like they were serving the tables blindly. Each table served by all the staff, instead of one server to one or two tables. The communication was also lacking between them when it came time to serve the food. They had marked our place cards for chicken or beef and flipped them over for the servers. Yet, each time a server approached the table, she looked confused as to who was getting what and not every one at the table was being served at the same time. They were bringing out dishes and serving them wherever they felt they should go without finishing full tables. There was no fluidity to the process and it left much to be desired. The food was okay. The Prime Rib, although cooked nicely and a nice cut, could've been seasoned better and I noticed quite a few people had dry chicken. Also, the water service was odd. There wasn't water or water glasses on the tables and when asked for some, we were directed to a water station in the back of the room. Instead of keeping order and serving it the smoother way, they felt it was better to direct a wedding of 100+ guests to a small area where there were other tables. It didn't make sense at all. Lastly, either one or a few of the servers kept throwing out drinks. One server even threw out the bride's drink and I had to get her a new one. The bartender was nice and did not charge me but still, after 3-4 instances of this from multiple people, the coordinator should have taken her staff aside.Overall, the property and potential of service is great here. As long as they iron out the flaws, there should be no reason to not pick this place for a wedding if the Victorian style suites your palate. I will also commend the staff on their patience when it came time to leave. Too many places rush people out and usually they are rude about it. Here, they simply turned up the lights and started cleaning (quietly) but did not rush the guests or the bride. That was very nice of them and the bride appreciated it.

Now that we've returned to MA from FL and are kind of settled it's back on the Sunday morning Breakfast Adventures. Found Lulu's online and took the ride. Glad we did. As soon as we drove up I realized it used to be Pogo's. Greeted by an extremely friendly staff when we walked in. As we were looking at the menus and enjoying a good cup of coffee Chad came out of the kitchen & proceeded to explain the board specials to us. We had a great conversation. I opted for one of the specials "Skip's Chili Omelette" A nice homemade chili with cheddar cheese and some of the best homefries I've had in quite a while. Cut very small and loaded with flavor. The Mrs. had a Yogurt & Granola Parfait & a homemade Blueberry Muffin...also very good. Very reasonable prices as well. We will definitely be back.

Best pizza and greek salad around! I've grown up on their pizza and it's always consistent. Been going for 32 years and keep going back. I would highly recommend.

How does a full-service restaurant not have the basics of Scotch and Irish whiskey? BAD MANAGEMENT!!! Good scallops, tough steak tips. The manager was far too intrusive during the meal and much too pushy about dessert... we couldn't wait to get away from him. Great server... certainly not his fault for any of the shortcomings at this establishment.

My husband and I had dinner at Mockingbird last night for a belated birthday meal. I can honestly say that I have never had a bad meal there. Last night was especially great. We started our meal with an appetizer that was amazing. It was scallops wrapped in bacon which were deep fried. They were served on a blackberry sauce. The scallops were perfectly done, the bacon was crispy, and the sauce made the entire dish one that I will ask for the next time we dine there. Our meals were also delicious. I had a baked haddock with crabmeat topping. The sauce also had artichoke pieces, sautéed onions, and spinach. It was even better tonight when I had the leftovers. My husband's lamb was also good, but I was so enjoying my own meal I never bothered to try his. Great meal, nice waitress, and close to home. win-win!
