Home style food made from scratch Hand Pressed Burgers, Fresh Fries, Hand Breaded Chicken Fried Steaks, Breakfast Burritos made with handmade Tortillas from Scratch and much more! Very Reasonable Prices! Water front Dining
We stopped in for lunch in mid afternoon today not knowing what to expect other than what the ads said about fresh home cooked food. We were quite happy with our lunch. My wife ordered a grilled chicken sandwich, I ordered a patty melt and we split an order of fries, very large fries. All food tasted great and the cook asked to make sure that it had been cooked to our liking. The service was very good. The prices were just a bit on the steep side, but then, this is tourist country. If we return to Dubois, we will certainly return to this venue.

We are on the corner of Ramshorn st next door to the Rustic Pine Tavern, which we are a separate business. Fresh quality homemade food is our specialty. Most of our beef is Certified Angus Beef.
A must stop when you are in Dubois!! They have some amazing mounts and other fun stuff on the walls. Happy hour is always fun with the who's who of Dubois. Ask why the stain is wore off the end of the bar(cute story)

I have been going to this area for over 30 years. I have gone with my wife, friends, son, and grandkids. This is a very quant camp, with very nice riding trails. We have had many wildlife encounters in the summer. A few bear sightings, and some scary times when we hit the gas and got out of there.

We ate lunch at Taylor Creek Deli. I was a little hesitant even when recommended by a friend. A deli in a gas station just didn't sound appetizing. They offer daily specials, sandwiches, pizza, and salads. My wife and I both had large salads. I chose the chef's salad. It was really really good. We were told the Thursday special, smothered burritos was worth a return trip. Just might try it before leaving Dubois.

Our raft guide Luke recommended the Lone Buffalo. I looked over the menu online and we decided to give it a try. The menu in the restaurant didn't have as many sandwich options. We had burgers that were very good. I thought it was pricey and more upscale then we were looking for in Dubois. If passing by again I would go to the Cowboy Café.

Stopped in for lunch, yesterday. Server was very friendly and helpful. Beverages were served quickly and were cold. Salad and pizza were delicious. The atmosphere is friendly and comfortable. Not your average pizza joint, unique, but very enjoyable.

We were taking a semi-large family trip through Yellowstone and lost track of time resulting in us needing a late dinner. Although they were scheduled to close at 9, they booked us a reservation at 8:45 for 9 adults and 3 kids. We never felt rushed, received fantastic and timely service, and the food was outstanding. The staff on duty really went out of their way to ensure our family had a great time. We'll be recommending the Nostalgia Bistro to anyone making their way to Dubois and will be back next time we make the trip.
