Jigger's Pub

I had a mixed experience at Jigger’s. The place is like a decently remodeled older home. Small patio and small bar area on the ground floor. You can climb upstairs to two other rooms, a dining room and a smokers bar area. I tried to sit in the dining room but there was no door separating it from the smoking bar and the smell of smoke wafted easily in. People were coming in with kids which I didn’t see how the smoky place was appropriate. I ended up moving to the small bar area downstairs. I ordered their rib special and spicy chili. The prices were great. The ribs were fall off the bone tasty. I was able to pick one of their wing sauces to compliment it. Their cheesy mashed potatoes were cold and the coleslaw was lacking flavor. The chili tasted ok but the heat was at the expense of the flavor. The ribs was my meal’s only saving grace. I wanted to like this place more, but there was just more disappointment than good for me to rate this any higher.

We stopped in for lunch on a Wednesday. The cocktail atmosphere saturates the ambience of the place. The lunch menu had some interesting offerings and there were some good specials offered. The lunch crowd were mainly ladies having there meetings and birthday party luncheons. Our service was friendly but very slow. Our meal was somewhat degraded because of the loud, joking guy in the next booth but the restaurant cannot help that. The food tasted average and cost above average. Probably will not stop there again.

The Spaghetti House is a hometown icon. We have enjoyed date nights and lunch here many times and have taken family & friends to both the restaurant and lounge. Try the homemade spaghetti - it's as good as any higher priced restaurant & the red sauce is consistently good. The price is right on for our area and the service is always good. We love the owner - when she's in-house she always stops by our table - just to say thanks! We always feel comfortable here...so thank YOU Monica!

Old Route 66 Grille

We stopped here for lunch and it seems to be a restaurant where the locals come to hang out. There were senior citizens playing dominoes at a large table when we arrived and groups of people having lunch. We ordered the meatball sandwiches and it was quite tasty - 2 meatballs on the sandwich. The order also came with their famous housemade chips, which were very good, not too crispy. The lemonade tasted like punch rather than true lemonade, but still good. The decor was eclectic pertaining to Route 66 and was dressed for Halloween. The carpeting throughout was tired and it ran into the ladies room. There is a bar on the one said and dining on the other. It was a bit dark inside and probably would need some dusting, but for a quick stop for lunch it was adequate.

Six of us saw their specially priced Filet mignon special advertised & decided to arrive @ 5, as we were told it gets crowded..& for good reason.(only till Fri, only in the coffee shop area). Delicious steak, potato, veggie, salad & dessert included? Wow! Donna made waitressing look easy. Always there, but not hovering; keeping water glasses filled w/o notice; no mistakes on the order...she is good. Nice. Lots of different specials throughout the summer-one is $10 off your birthday special. They also have great breakfasts.

I have stopped in a number of times and have never been disappointed. The food is always great and the portions are huge. I choose the St Louis ribs and the brisket, both outstanding. I would recommend the bbq beans along with the corn bread.

Grandkids and I enjoyed a mostly breakfast meal with sides of chicken noodle soup and salad. Waffles, pancakes, sausages, soup and salad were all very good. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable and helpful to the children. Prices are reasonable.

Decided on a late lunch at the Boulevard and wasn't disappointed. Chose a booth in bar section. One server handled the bar and booths with precision and friendliness. My BLT was cooked exactly as ordered and was delicious. Had a crispy house salad with homemade ranch dressing. There are many, many items on the menu. Great place to stop.

I went here while on a business trip, staying at the Holiday Inn over the road. I searched Tripadvisor and it turns out there isnt much in Delmont, and this place was well-reviewed and just over the road. It's unpretentious and sells beer, wings and a few other staples. It's not trying to be anything fancy.Staff were very friendly, the beer was good and the wings (for a guy who doesnt like wings much) were pretty good too
