We visit Herrington Harbor on our boat a couple of times each summer. Anyone complaining about this place doesnât know how amazing it is compared to what used to be here. Formerly it was a gross greasy spoon breakfast place with a grill and old outdated items on the shelves. A few years ago the space was transformed into what it is now. We never bother bringing any breakfast food on the boat because we enjoy walking across the street and sitting inside or outside enjoying the coffee & breakfast. It is getting a little worn and could use a little sprucing up but we still enjoy it a lot.

Pirates Cove Restaurant & Dock Bar is a wonderful place to enjoy fine classic and casual seafood dining year round with the scenic charm of the West River. Enjoy a great selection of cocktails, beers and wines along with great locally caught seafood speci
Weâve been here several times when visiting family in West River. Usually the food has been good but this time most of the five of us were disappointed. The service was great, Becky took good care of us. The Maryland crab soup was a very small bowl and the contents so so. I had the rainbow trout and it tasted like it had been frozen, thawed and refrozen before they finally decided to thaw it and use it. The fish and chips wee pretty good, fried to a nice golden brown. The ousters on the half shell were nothing to write home about event though they should have been fresh out of the Eastern Shore waters. The southwest chicken sandwich was ok. The Pirateâs punch was very tasty. Maybe it as a bad night.Mike, As discussed i the google review, I will discuss with the Chef in regards to the Trout. I will pass the kind words in regards to Becky's service. As far as our Maryland Crab soup goes we rarely get complaints on it. Be sure to check us out in the winter time when we have the freshest local oysters in town!
This strip mall spot is well known for its pit beef, pork, BBQ and ham. We were getting sandwiches to take to a lacrosse game. We had the Carolina pulled pork, spicy with a nice vinegary tang, the pit beef, rare roast beef, and the pit turkey. All sandwiches are piled high on a Kaiser roll with whatever condiments you desire. They are delicious. You can also but the meats by the pound to take home.

Real pizza like when I was a kid before all the chains. The subs are always full and delicious. Best in the area!

We went for lunch on a Sunday afternoon and the place was empty. The chef's feisty mom was our server; we found her amusing. Several of us choose the sampler platter which included pulled pork, brisket, and ribs. Everything was tasty-the brisket was super moist and tender, ribs were also tender and not too spicy, the pulled pork sliders could have had a bit more flavor. Portions were generous and accompanied by a choice of 4 bbq sauces and corn bread. There are some menu options for folks who are not fond of barbecue. A great local place!

The view from the outside bar and deck area was perfect for a summer day. There were sunny spots but most was covered so you can sit in the shade. The server was very attentive and kept my water glass filled. (That matters a lot to me...) I had the hamburger and it was large in size and perfectly grilled. My friend enjoyed the chicken wrap and we shared the onion rings- definitely a guilty pleasure. Note that there is an up charge for onion rings.

This is a nice outdoor patio bar and restaurant. The food is simple and what you would expect to pay for an over the water/pier restaurant. Prices for fish or chicken ranged from $12-18. Burgers we a bit less and steaks and shrimp were a bit more. The staff was polite and helpful. There was a good menu. In rainy or colder weather there is a nice indoor seating and eating area. While we were there the inside was âjammin-nightâ with musicians using he stage and so conversation would have been minimal inside. We ate outdoors and it was great.

Love the French Dip, LOVE the barbecue pork sandwich, love the atmosphere, and oh, the home made brownies were delicious. I have enjoyed this restaurant on each visit...as it is only a short ride from my office here. I was worried there would not be anything of quality in the immediate surroundings, until I found South County Cafe. Kudos!
