Although Waffle House food is usually the same regardless of the location, service can make a big difference. In our case, the service was excellent. Wait staff kept us stocked with hot coffee and anything else we needed. The food was cooked well, without an excess of grease (like you find in some places). We were very pleased. It was a great start to our day!

This place was crowded and VERY noisy. BUT the food was delicious and the wait staff was very friendly and efficient. There is a wide selection -- something for everyone. It is obviously very popular. If you are looking for a quiet, intimate dinner, this is not the place to go. All in all, it was a good meal and fun.

We are a small Independant restaurant. We focus on good quality food for a reasonable price. We have been in business since 1960. My Father started the business when he got out of the Air Force. We are always happy to let our new customers try a sample of o
My husband and I had an early dinner here before the dinner rush. Service was friendly. We started with smoked then fried wings which had a good smoke going. I wouldâve liked them cooked slightly more for added tenderness. Husband had the burger which he said was good. I had a chef salad I ordered minus ham, but with plenty smoked turkey. The turkey was good. The salad greens are just iceberg. The serving of blue cheese dressing was extremely generous. We will probably return on a Thursday night for their once a week brisket.overall, we had a good meal, but the competition in town is stiff.

We stopped here on our way home recently. This place is very generous in their proportions, very attentive in their service, and quite clean. The food was excellent and we recommend to anyone in the area.

My family and I tried Country Kitchen for lunch recently and everyone enjoyed it. I had the grilled chicken plate, which had a wonderful flavor. I loved the fried squash and potato salad as well. The burgers were rather large as well. The prices were reasonable and the waitress was very friendly. Itâs not super fast, but itâs a good place to spend the lunch hour.

Went for midafternoon meal. All the food was great. We got combo plates for 3 of us, enough food for 6! Shrimp and fish were perfect. Sweet potatoes, hush puppies really nice. The wait staff was so friendly and accommodating. Would return when again in the area.

We recently ordered food to go from the Fish Fry. They have a great menu of all the fish camp classics, and you can order anything broiled of you donât want fried! My wife and I ordered two small catfish filet plates. We saw how much food was included in one of the small plates, so we ate one and saved the other plate for later. It was a lot of food for ten bucks per plate. The service was excellent, and the food came out right on time. I imagine weâll return for some more fish pretty soon.

Nestled in a historic movie theater, Webb Custom Kitchen brings you creative local dining, craft beers, premium wines, unique potables & unmatched service located in Historic Downtown Gastonia.
In route to CLT for an overseas flight to Edinburgh, we stopped for our first visit to Webb Custom Kitchen in Gastonia. We wanted a hearty lunch that would âstick to our ribsâ and help us nod off during our long flight ⦠and allow us to skip the tasteless food that we would have been served on the plane. We split a starter plate of Duck Cigars. They were tasty, but not enough to order them again. We both selected the entrée of Braised Short Ribs over mashed potatoes with a garnish of crispy leeks. Ours bowls arrived without the garnish, but the kitchen quickly brought us some crispy onions. Lovely substitute. We also asked for a side of the seasonal vegetables. The veggies were out of this world. This was one of the most satisfying lunches we have ever eaten.Logan, was our waiter and he was incredibly helpful and attentive. We are both looking forward to our next flight out of the Charlotte Airport so we will be able to book another reservation at the historic and beautiful Webb Custom Kitchen.
