Although Rootie's did not invent the buffalo-style chicken wing, it sure went a long way to perfect this culinary delight. Award winning, authenticity counts as the tradition lives on in Louisville with Rootie's arrival from Buffalo, New York and Coconut
My wife and I ate dinner here on Sunday, September 27th, 2015. The owner, Marty Stein, owned Rootie's Pump Room in Getzville, NY, near the Amherst Campus of SUNY/Buffalo. In my student days in the '80s I ate many chicken wings at Rootie's. During a recent trip to Louisville I learned that Marty had reopened a Rootie's in the area so I decided to visit. This Rootie's was out-of-the way, but if you like chicken wings, make the trip. Delicious. I said hello to Marty. Our server, Morter, was nice.

Stoney River is an upscale steakhouse, specializing in hand-cut steaks and gourmet entrees, served in a sophisticated atmosphere by professional servers. Guests can enjoy diverse menu offerings such as Center-cut Filets, Bone-in Rib-eye's or a Classic NY
This was my first visit to Stoney River and I loved it. I went with a group of 7 friends and we had a wonderful server, Katherine. She was very attentive and efficient. I ordered the house salad and it was HUGE!!! I split it with a friend and we both had a nice sized serving. The complimentary rolls are outstanding; they almost tasted like donuts!!! I had the beef medallions for my meal and they were tender, cooked properly and tasted delicious. The drinks were great as well. The ambiance was nice and soothing. Everyone seemed to be enjoying their dinner.

Met friends while traveling and Cheddarâs was convenient for everyone. Very friendly, welcoming staff, very patient with us while we spent time greeting each other. It was casual enough and noisy so we didnât stand out while we reminisced and caught up. Child friendly and varied enough menu to please everyone. We ordered off the light dinner menu, it was a Friday so we ordered the lemon pepper broiled white fish ( they offer blackened also) and the breaded fish, both were excellent. The prices are very reasonable and portion size is just enough. The broccoli cheddar casserole was my favorite if the sides offered. The wait staff were attentive and gracious allowing us to sit and visit for a long time without making us feel rushed. Give it a try!

This is a family owned BBQ joint. Friendly service and good prices. The slaw is very light and crisp and GREAT. The ribs were good the day we were there, but I have been there other days when they were pretty fatty. It takes all tastes. My husband would have given them an excellent rating for their sides, but they were not really what I like. So, take a chance and see if it suits you!.

While visiting Louisville, my wife and I were staying on the northeast side of town. We were hungry for barbecue and Martin's BBQ Joint was 5 minutes from our hotel. After consulting TripAdvisor we decided to check it out. I ordered beef brisket and baked beans and potato salad and my wife ordered pulled pork and broccoli salad and fries. The brisket, beans and potato salad were delicious. My only complaint is that the brisket serving was a little on the small side. My wife was impressed with the pulled pork and broccoli salad but the fries were a little overdone. The tab was a little pricey but the food was delicious. All things considered, I would definitely recommend

We were visiting the area and wanted some BBQ and found this place. The look of the reminded us of a Texas BBQ place we visit here in Colorado. That was the only similarity. As a first time visitor, the wait staff were great. Recommended a few items, and they were all great. The wife just loved the barnyard corn. I had the combo plate with honey wings. Everything was great. Manager even stopped by and we received a free bottle of BBQ sauce for being a first time visitor. Great food/price, only warning.... Parking is kind of limited if they are busy. Will stop by again on our next visit to Louisville/Middletown, KY.

Remarkable venue! Haven't been here in 18 months however the food, service and ambiance is still fantastic. One of my top 3 restaurants worldwide! If you are within 2 hours of Louisville you must make the trip! Southern fried chicken is to die for! Fabulous craft beer selection and my two favorite chardonnays... Sonoma Cutrer and Mer Soliel. Wish we didn't live 500 miles away...

Locally owned restaurant with a full service bar. Kitchen is open Tuesday - Saturday, 4pm to 10pm during the week, 4 - 10:30 on Friday & Saturday.
Lovely Wine Bar tucked in a strip mall. Fresh food of the highest quality. Great flavors perfectly matched to each dish. Seafood is exceptional! Better than most seafood specialty restaurants. Very nice wine list. Several quality wines available by the glass at a very good value. Highly recommend the scallops entree and the Salmon. The dried cherry citrus sauce is the perfect compliment to the salmon. Staff was friendly & knowledgeable regarding all aspects of the menu. Brix has a friendly welcoming vibe which you donât often find in a restaurant serving such high quality food. The owner Leslie does an exceptional job making every patron feel at home & providing innovative & delicious creations! When in Louisville donât miss Brix!

I always enjoy eating at Red Pepper. The menu of deli sandwiches, soups, salads and quiches is always tasty. A lot of variety to satisfy a wide range of tastes. I especially appreciate the owners are great citizens of the community and always giving back--especially to our schools.
